I enjoyed this story very much. Sarah brings two characters together in a snowstorm that really do need each other. Not just to survive but to keep it together.
Jordan and Caleb find themselves in a difficult situation when a snowstorm shows up in the middle of their individual camping/hiking trips. But they help each other to go back to Caleb's cabin. While stuck there they find themselves connected and interacting with each other on an intermate level. But when a threat shows up from Jordan's past at Caleb's cabin will they be able to save themselves?

Jordan has just ended things with her boyfriend Rob. After an abusive relationship she found herself comfortable with Rob. Safe. But is that enough. No. She found that her relationship with him was lacking and she was just going through the motions. So when he admits he loves her she decides to end it. To get away from it all she decides to go on a hiking trip alone to figure think and figure things out.
Caleb is a mountain man in every sense. He even built his own cabin in the mountains with his own two hands. Once upon a time he had it all. A successful job, girl of his dreams and a condo in the city. That is until she just up and left him. Now to get away from all life had thrown at him, he moved to the mountains. It is peaceful and nice. His family feels he is hiding away from life, licking his wounds. But to be honest, he is just trying to find himself again.
When Caleb comes across Jordan on a hike, he is struck by her beauty. But she is a distraction he does not need. So he continues on without a second thought. But when the night turns into an unexpected snow storm, he can't help but think of her unprepared and freezing to death.
Jordan was not prepared for this snow storm. She has had the feeling of being watched for weeks now and it seems to have followed her to the mountains. But when a handsome stranger comes to her rescue, she feels safe and doesn't think anymore about it.

Just no. Couldn’t stand ANY of the characters. Felt left down, something was definitely missing from this.

I'll admit I have some mixed feelings about this story. Even so, it still ranked four stars for me because I truly enjoyed reading it. Let's face it, Caleb is a great character. Plus the heat he shares with Jordan is enough to heat that mountain cabin of his for days. Yeow! They were absolutely enjoyable as a couple once they quit sniping at each other constantly.
But I kept thinking as I read the first 1/2 of this book that it could never be made into a movie. Because the main female character simply spends too much time acting like the ditsy blonde idiot in a "B Grade" horror flick that always goes down in the basement where the monster's hiding. For such a smart woman she sure makes one stupid move after another. Okay. So she's a city girl. I'll cut her some slack. That's what the hunky mountain guy is for after all, right?
...And Caleb is a hunky mountain man. Cut, intelligent, prepared, calm (mostly), he's pretty awesome. So why does the stupid city girl insist on pushing his buttons, arguing with him, and just generally being a pain in his butt? Hmmmm. So camping and communication skills are BOTH lacking from the city girl's skill set. Whatever.
Strangely, it wasn't that I disliked Jordan, because she actually brought some good stuff to the table... um... novel. It just seemed like some of her finer points were overpowered at first by some not-so-flattering moments.
Regardless of all this bashing I'm doing, I actually DID enjoy the story as a whole. These two certainly did heat that mountain cabin with some serious steamy moves that kept me turning pages. Theirs is a beautiful story, and I simply loved the growth involved in it and the way they came to trust and rely on each other. The passion, adult situations and occasional adult language make this a read that can be shared with your co-workers. The characters, plot, suspense and passion make it a read well worth your time.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the romance between Caleb and Jordan. Caleb has lived in the mountains for the last few years and he has no plans to return to the city. Caleb built his cabin and designed the solar power and running water himself. Jordan has recently broken up with her boyfriend and decides to go on a hiking trip they had planned herself. When she was shopping for camping equipment, she ran into another ex who was recently released from prison after trying to kill her. Peter told her he got help in prison and wishes her well. Jordan was happy to hear he got the help he needed. When Jordan went camping, she met Caleb on the trail and he refused to set up his camp near her. When a snow storm hit, Caleb knew Jordan wasn't prepared for the weather, so he went to check on her. When the storm got worse, Caleb took Jordan to his cabin to wait it out. They were stranded there for days and soon they give into their attraction to one another. Things go well until danger comes and Jordan needs Caleb to survive. I liked this book. I love the twist and the dangerous situations Jordan finds herself in. I think Jordan and Caleb had amazing chemistry. I think Jordan helped Caleb as much as he helped her. Another good one from Sarah.

This romance novel is the story of Jordan and Caleb. Caleb is a very wealthy man with a broken heart. He has escaped to a mountain retreat, works from the location and has little interaction with people. Caleb is passionate about eco friendly solutions to problems and has designed many patents. Caleb's life changes when the determined Jordan decides to hike the mountain by herself after breaking up with her boyfriend. Jordan becomes stranded after a sudden snowstorm and is rescued by Caleb. They are both passionate and stubborn but can't escape the mutual and strong attraction between them. Being stranded in a mountain home with a hunky guy, Jordan lets go and opens up. I love this author's work and this novel is one of her bests. The plot flows effortlessly and is engaging. Best of all is the character development which makes the characters come to life with humor, drama, passion and love. The ending is amazing and I was worried that there might not be a HEA. If you are a romantic and love romance novels I highly recommend this book. I received an advanced copy for my honest review.

Great characters and dialogue, the fast-paced read had a sweet, witty backdrop that made it all the more enjoyable.

An adventurous hiking trip is just what Jordan needs after breaking up with her dull boyfriend and getting away from the feeling that someone is following her. Jordan meets mountain man Caleb on her first night and it becomes blatantly clear she’s ill prepared for the weather.
Caleb has lived in the mountains for years and he can’t leave Jordan out in the storm. The pair bicker but it’s because theirs an intense heat waiting to ignite between the two.
Jordan just can’t help but get in danger and when the passion between Cal and her ignites someone is bound to get burned. With her psycho ex showing up and trying to kill her, Cal discovers a part of himself he didn’t realize he had(compassion) when he tries nursing her back to health. Unforeseen events keep them apart after she nearly die, but Cal comes for her.
A good story with good character development and a happy ending for two perfectly matched people. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, it had adventures, suspense, passion and just a hint of sass!

Brooks is a modern day romance between a recluse millionaire, Caleb ho lives in a self-built cabin and Jordan, a marketer from the city who decided to go trail hiking. They meet on the trail in a snow storm and Caleb brings Jordan to his Cabin. They nurse each other while a stalker lies in wait. But for whom? They both have bad breakups. But bad enough to do bodily harm?
VERDICT: I liked this book by Brooks. She has an excellent writing style that engages the reader immediately and holds on through the Epilogue. The characters are dynamic and unique. You see growth and changes in their development throughout the story...no stagnation here. Even the antagonist is worthy of one's disgust. I'm highly recommending this book for your reading pleasure and enjoyment and am volunteering to leave a review of this ARC book.

Caleb has lived in the solitude of the mountains for 2 years now and plans to keep it that way . He had his heart broken so he doesn't trust women or anyone really .
Caleb comes to Jordan's rescue when they are snowed in on the mountain . However they are not as alone as they thought they were.
This book pulls you in with the mystery of what happened in both of these Characters past to turn them into the people they are today . Can these two save each other from the past.
I loved every page of this book , the author really pulls you into the story . You cant go wrong if you love your romance with a little bit of mystery.

A very adventuresome and harrowing romantic tale. What an excellent story filled with high drama, angst, anger, pain and a wonderful love. The main female character unfortunately has been in an abusive relationship in the past and had those issues to deal with. The main male character had gone off the grid in a bid to re-center himself after living in the city and after having a failed romance. These two meet under an extreme weather situation on a mountainside. The main female almost reminded this reader of a cat with many lives. The two main male and female characters came to trust and depend upon each other and were able to attain their happy ever after.

Another fabulous book from Sarh J brooks that's brilliantly written, a romance story with intrigue and suspense, passion, heat, and scary bits all mixed in with unconditional love. I thoroughly love this book!! I was hooked from page one a heart-wrenching beautiful story. Sarah continuously writes such quality pieces of work. I was hooked from the very first page and could not put it down. I highly recommend this book. The characters have issues from the past and both are unable to trust, Jordan with he ex from work, a partnership with no chemistry, Caleb who lives up the mountain recovering from a broken heart. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. Wow, another sizzling hot romance from Sarah. Great story, loved Caleb and Jordan together. Caleb has been living the recluse life on his mountain, he relies on no one and likes it that way, until he runs into Jordan camping in his spot. He leaves her be and finds another spot, but when the weather takes a turn for the worst he’s worried she might freeze to death, she’s not exactly prepared for the weather coming their way. They are attracted to each other and have both had messy pasts that still come back to haunt. Together they are sexy, the chemistry is off the charts hot, there’s danger, suspense and the thought of losing what you just found. Such a great read, I highly recommend this book.

A snowy adventure, trapped with a yummy mountain man
Accidentally HIs by Sarah J Brooks is a delicious mountain man story. Caleb is equal parts genius, jerk, hunk and protector. Jordan is a strong woman struggling to develop and own her independence. While this book (especially Jordan) is one accident after another, these two develop feelings and act on their combustible chemistry.
I really enjoyed the mountain hiking elements, the suspence and the emergence of danger as well as Caleb and Jordan as characters. These two are truly engaging which kept me turning pages.
Overall a well written book and a perfect HEA for the professional adult (workaholic) and hiking enthusiast!

A well written story with a captivating storyline and plot. The characters are well described and they develop nicely through the story. The story is written in dual POV which gives the reader more of the thoughts and feelings of the main characters and makes the story more real.
The story flows well of the pages. Twists and turns and the danger and drama makes it worth the read.
A mix of drama, danger, steamy scenes, emotions, exes, instant attraction, closed hearts and likeable characters. All this makes this story worth the read.

Two years ago, Caleb too his engineering know how, his broken heart and his over stressed life to the mountains where he was happy living alone until he ran into Jordan.
Jordan had an abusive high school sweetheart who ended up in jail due to dom violent against her. Then, she jumped into a relationship with another and finally, she found herself needing more than her current guy could offer. So finally she ended it and went in search of Jordan -she thought to take a week's hike through the mountain.
Now I have to say that the cadence of the book was fast and slow. Sometimes it worked but other times it didn't work as well. Over all the story was good, the plot enjoyable and enough tension to keep you interested.
I did enjoy the story. Contemporary, Sex, no cheating, HEA.

Caleb hasn't had any good experiences with relationships which is why he likes the solitude of his cabin. When he finds Jordan she is freezing. He takes her to his cabin to warm her up and keep her safe. Jordan was camping on Caleb mountain but wasn't prepared for the big storm that hit so quickly. The longer they are together to more intense their attraction gets and its not long before the give in to temptation. Will they be able to survive the storm together?
This is an amazing story that will draw you in and captivate you from beginning until end. The chemistry between Caleb and Jordan is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Very nice
First I loved that there were no errors in the editing making the whole story run smooth. One thing I would change however is that the girl started out strong and normal and then it twisted to her being possessed by a 3 year old toddler.. well not really but that is how drastic her personality changed. But all in all it was very descriptive but not so overly descriptive that you start skipping pages. I feel like the author should know that that whole axe scene had me at the edge of my seat I envisioned it all, it was fast paced and I could almost feel every fear and the physical pain that was happening. GREAT WRITING!! Thank you for writing this and I hope you continue with your art because it is very enjoyable.

One thing I would change however is that the girl started out strong and normal and then it twisted to her being possessed by a 3 year old toddler.. well not really but that is how drastic her personality changed. But all in all it was very descriptive but not so overly descriptive that you start skipping pages. I feel like the author should know that that whole axe scene had me at the edge of my seat I envisioned it all, it was fast paced and I could almost feel every fear and the physical pain that was happening. GREAT WRITING!! Thank you for writing this and I hope you continue with your art because it is very enjoyable.

✔The characters were okay. I loved Caleb alot. He was strong, protective, practical, and caring. He made sure to fully take care of Jordan. As far a Jordan she drove me insane. She tries too hard to be independent which places her into so much danger. If she would wise up and listen she would have been much better. She reminded me of a spoiled child for the first half of the book. Her character was more likeable after the axe.

Jordan just brooke up with her boyfriend because there was no chemistry between the two of them andboyfriend before that tried to strangle her. A hiking trip in the mountains all alone seems to be the right thing to do. Except one the first night a snow storm comes and if it hadn't been for the handsome mountain man Caleb she would have freezing to death. He takes her to his cabin. They fight a lot but soon they can keep their hands of each other. Everything is perfect until Jordan is beeing attack. Will Jordan be able to save her ? This book was so exitin. A romantic thriller I loved every single minute of it

Omg I loved this book it had a bit of everything. Accidentally His was written by Sarah J. Brooks and let me just say I couldn’t get enough. I was hooked from the first chapter to the very last word. The characters were strong, smart, intriguing and definitely interesting. This is Caleb and Jordan’s story
When they first meet you can feel the incredible chemistry, and this is where the real fun starts and will keep you turning the pages as fast as you can to see what will happen with these two next. Jordan embarks on a hike that she has never done, with the wrong equipment, and encounters a snow storm during the night. Luckily, she is rescued by Caleb, a man who is hiking also and choses to live in the mountains in his cabin to get away from it all. Jordan and Caleb start to have feelings for each other as they wait out the storm in his cabin. Danger has followed Jordan up the mountain in an ex boyfriend who has been recently released from prison from choking Jordan. Caleb needs to race against time to protect Jordan and to come to terms of his feelings for her. Sarah J. Brooks wrote a suspenseful love story that we each can learn from.

This story was exactly what I was in the mood to read. If you are looking for a broody, strong, bearded mountain man and a billionaire romance, then this is a must read!
I'm rating this a 4.5 because sometimes I wanted to slap some sense into Jordan, but rounding up (because Goodreads hasn't caught on to the in-between) and I really liked it.
The plot kept my attention with a great amount of suspense and romance, and was well paced so I didn't want to put it down. The chemistry between Caleb and Jordan was hot and steamy, seriously, Caleb was hitting every one of my needs in this book!!
I'm hoping Sarah Brooks has more of these Mountain men available, because I need more!

This was a quick read and quite enjoyable. I liked the characters, although Jordan annoyed me a bit when she kept getting angry at Caleb. He wasn't even that big of a jerk.
He offered to get wood. She got angry.
He wanted to give her his bed. She got angry.
Get a grip girl. The man literally saved your life and you get annoyed when he wants you to sleep in his bed while he sleeps on the couch?
I enjoyed the storyline about Peter. It made the book a lot more interesting than just a man and woman sharing a cabin and getting it on. The first sighting of Peter on the mountain actually scared me a bit, even though it was pretty obvious to me that he was the one who was stalking her.

Jordan and Caleb are just made for each other as is apparent throughout this book. Caleb is a little gruff around the edges and Jordan is able to melt him just enough to soften him up. Their chemistry is incredible as is their story. Their banter is part of what makes this such an enjoyable to read. There is a little edge thrown in to make things exciting and everything just seems to tie together in the end. Great read!

What’s a girl to do when she breaks up with her bore of a boyfriend? Go for a hike?? Ok so Jordan doesn’t know the first thing about hiking but how hard can it be? Good thing Caleb finds her before she freezes to death. But that not the only danger in the woods. There’s her crazy just out of prison ex. There’s a cliff that Jordan finds in the snow.....but most of all there is the danger of losing their hearts to each other. Great book.

the dynamic between Jordan and caleb is great.
the rough and feisty nature they both have makes for great fights and greater passionate make ups as the two grow closer together in their seclusion.
but the danger on their door step its hard to tell if they will survive the storm and if their closeness will blossom in to something more once the snow melts.
this story ends with an opening I think could lead to more of their story together which I would like to see.
