About the author

K. J. North lives with her husband in a small town on the beautiful Oregon coast. She has been an avid reader most of her life and her idea of a perfect evening would be to curl up in front of the fireplace with a suspense thriller and a glass of cabernet. Her education includes a degree in Green Technology and Business. An entrepreneur most of her life, K. J. North has been a professional photographer and has owned and managed her own photography studio. Today she, along with her husband, own and manage a vacation rental near the beach in the small coastal town they live in. She is thrilled to welcome guests from all over the world. K. J. North is well traveled, and has been to countries throughout Europe, South America, Canada and Mexico, and has vacationed on the islands of Hawaii, Roatan, and Aruba. Every Last Drop: A Fast Paced Murder Thriller

When Troy looks into a case for his old buddy Joe, it seems simple, and it was, until the favor nearly cost Troy his life! Perfectly paced and leaving no unanswered questions, “ Every Last Drop” has EVERYTHING a perfectly written mystery thriller needs and I loved it. My heart was in my throat, as I sat conflicted, part of me dreading the next events while the other part of me awaited the ride in breathless anticipation! I can’t go into details without venturing into spoilerville, but THIS is the feeling I seek when I listen to mystery thrillers and found it! All of the action, and trust me, there is plenty, is brought to life by clear, consistent, effective narration, sending this five star winner right over the top!

Received as an audio copy to review from the narrator, this is an honest review. Once again, David Scott keeps showing why he was the best choice to bring to life this extraordinary series because his performance as magnificent as it is bone-chilling. The ill gotten gained money that was suppose to change the life of Adam Kent but doomed the man when it was discovered by Hank Winberry just doing his postal route; and once Hank takes a dark turn over the money... there's no turning back. Obsessed with living the good life this "win fall" can grant Hank, the secret will cost anyone Hank believes will all his good luck away. When PI Troy Winters nearly loses life over the man's determination to hold onto the money, it turns into a haunting cross country chase to stop the blood lust that Eva, Troy and the police and innocent people find themselves caught up in. Another hotly intense thrill ride by this author.

I am listening to this series out of order but it really doesn't matter. This is such a great follow up to the previous book which featured the bank robbery, we now found out what happened to the mail man and boy is it a ride.

David Scott brings the characters to life but his villains are a treat. You really know and I would just listen for that.

I have to say narrator David Scott has a menacing voice for these crime thrillers. The husband and wife PI team Troy and Eva Winters seem to get themselves into dicey situations when pursuing their targets. These stories are fast paced and action-packed with many twists and turns.
This story has Troy driving across the country pursuing a killer who leaves bodies on his journey.
