Feeling alone in the world was something I was used to. Being beaten and broken were normal parts of my life. As the chains that kept me hostage each day dragged across the floor, I wished for death. The only person that would miss me was Grady, My wolf down the street. His brown eyes would meet mine with sorrow every time he glimpsed a bruise that littered my body.

After one long night of being a punching bag, I think my wish is finally coming true, my wolf even believes that she will be set free from all the hurt and pain. Only when I open my eyes again, I'm in the back of a car. A sinfully gorgeous man tells me I am safe. Words I never thought I would hear. He tells me he is taking me to a school for supernaturals of all types. My world changes overnight.

I am thrown back into a world that I haven't been a part of since I was a child. Not knowing much about my wolf or anything about mates, I am roomed with an Alpha wolf who’s saddened eyes make my heart clench in ways I never knew I could feel.
He begins to help me understand our world, helps make my mind and body stronger.

I find a friend in the fiery sexy red headed fox shifter who is not as innocent and shy as she looks. She becomes my best friend and finally, my mate.

I find I am mated to the four heirs …each one made for me, only they want nothing to do with me…and they make sure everyone knows it. My life at Leafwood becomes dangerous once more when a Fae princess sets her sights on me, wanting to do everything she can to make sure I disappear.

When my past returns and the darkness settles back into my mind will my mates come together? Will I end up back where I started?

This is a why choose Reverse harem. Meaning the MFC does not have just one love interest. This contains m/m, f/f, m/f/m/m

Trigger Warning: also contains mentions of abuse, both sexually and physically. Darker themes are present, this book contains graphic sexual situations. If you don’t mind some sexy times with sexy men, then this book is for you.

I fluctuated between 2-3 stars before choosing 3 stars. I really did like the premise, but I think it was missing a bit to really hit its mark. The building blocks are there though.

I liked Honey, and i liked the idea behind the Omega Wolf being super rare and haven’t been seen. She’s been abused (physically and sexually), when she’s saved. The action is all written super quickly, and it all happens in the blink of an eye.

The world building needs a bit expansion. I was thinking it was just shifters and vampires, and then all of a sudden we have fae and stuff, but it’s not expanded on where in the world/realm this academy is, what the humans see?

Alright so I’m not a huge fan of fast burn, but I stuck out with this one. If you like fast burn, you might enjoy this. With her background though, I just don’t see how it was possible for her to be so sexually liberated so quickly. She’s been shackled and abused for over 10 years, but she knows so much about sex?

There’s mentions later on in the book that “she doesn’t flinch as much” etc. but it was never even mentioned that she flinched around them in the first place. I think it would’ve made more sense had she not been so severely abused.

We don’t get a lot of backstory on any of her mates. Cam lost a mate, but how? What happened? What did he feel for her? He was super standoffish until he all of a sudden wasn’t. Her other Wolf mate (G), tried to get her away from her dad, by sending pictures to the council apparently, but that was it? You knew she was your mate, yet you let her stay in the house? And by what Honey mentions at the beginning, she saw him bring other women home.

I don’t read much FF, but it was done in a solid manner, and I liked the instances of bringing up how the other guys didn’t like Ronnie like that.

The reasoning behind why the heirs were mean to her (because of their own MMM relationship) made sense, but the things they said to her and did to her made them irredeemable to me. They barely grovel at all and she instantly forgives them. That’s the part that made me most angry. I’m at a point where I’m not as into MM romantically in RH without the h, but the steam was written well in those instances.

There is a LOT of steam in this book if that’s what you’re looking for. It was written well, but it just overtook the plot for me mostly.

As for the climax/end, i liked the rush and the mystery of it all, but I think she made a TSTL decision. Reading the sexual abuse she then has to put up with by her dad was... yeah.

I am wondering what’s to come of her brother Sam, whose body was never found.

The story itself has lots of promise, but the writing is terrible! So stilted with not a contraction in site. For all of the heavy, emotional content it read very flat and one dimensional. DNF @ 20%

No character development at all. There is no connection between her and her mates but all of a sudden the first two are just there and mated and in love. Um like, how?

OMFG just WOW! This book was absolutely unbelievable! If it's possible to give a books more stars it would've definitely got it! As long as you can deal with the triggers in the book this is a definite must read! I do however need to go to anger management classes now!
I was ready to do more than strangle Dan I was ready to jump in the book and kill him myself! He definitely doesn't get the father of the year award!
Then you got the four heirs! I wanted to slap the ever loving crap out of them. Rejected mates how could they do that! The BS they pulled on her how she ever forgives them is beyond me!
Roman I'm glad he woke up! I know he's hiding secrets and I hope we hear about them later!
Cam and Ronnie were the only ones tonight fight it! I mean seriously Cam was great he never expected to find love again. Then Ronnie I've never read a f/f before it would not have been as intense a book without it. To think of this tiny little fox turning into such a vindictive meet with a broomstick at the end I loved it!
The ninth mate I knew it was coming! My heart went out to them for the way they had to meet but I feel their relationship is going to be one of the strongest through the rest of the books.
Lastly that cliffhanger ending it's going to have me dying for a book two!

DNFd.

I will refrain from rating this. I only got to page 61.

I liked the concept, not the execution.

First of all, what is a 21 year old doing basically being back in high school? Or is Leafwood a finishing school? The story being set in an academy, based on her age, made no sense at all. If I was to make a guess, I'd say the author was probably trying to capitalize on the whole supernatural academy angle. This did not work for me.

Then, I was okay with this being an reverse harem. Shu, it was an omegaverse. Lakini, too many mates my friend. It seems every single person she is in contact with, is her mate.

Then, the reasons why I am completely DNFing. What age are these babies again? High school bully romances are also not my thing. Everyone was acting like a fucking child apart from Ronnie (or rather the little I read of Ronnie, but she was also a bully towards her until she smelled her).

And finally, she has undergone all the abuse from her 'dad', she doesn't know much about the supernatural world, but she continues on the car ride with Roman. Really???? 98% chance that he was into human/supernatural trafficking, not the knight in shining armour routine he is currently on. But she continued on the ride. She is also a degree of naive that is TSTL. Then, we're repeatedly told how she was properly beaten up, but because she is out of the house, she miraculously healed? Because at no point are we told that it is her wolf awakening that is healing her/any other explanation given.

Anyway, not for me. The rejected mate/everybody knows she's mine but is hiding it angle also added insult to injury, D.N.F.

Omega Found is a debut novel from E.L. Rose, and it blew me away! I couldn't put it down! First and foremost, this is a story of survival, love and family. I fell in love with these characters and need more!

Please read the trigger warning at the beginning of the book as it does deal with child abuse and physical abuse.

"You survived another night. Keep fighting."

Honey, the main female character, is a survivor. She is so strong for the hand that life has dealt her. When she is brought to Leafwood Academy, she is given an opportunity at a better life than she thought she could have. When she arrives she is taught about the magical world that she had been held from for a decade.

It has multiple POV, and switches between the characters perfectly. I loved the character and world building. This book was an emotional roller coaster that had me so engrossed in the story. I laughed and cried. Honey and her mates have not been made to have an easy time, but working together to lean on the new bonds, and build a life and family together is worth it to them. Not every relationship starts out smooth, and I loved that those mates have to work to earn back her trust and good graces.

I can't wait to know what happens next!

How is this your debut!?!? E.L. Rose absolutely smashed it out of the park. She pulled so many emotions out of me all from anger to getting my heart ripped out. I felt the pain the FMC was feeling.

What this FMC has been through is rough! It’s not all sunshine and roses. If you have any triggers (abuse, bullying and sexual assault) read the warning ⚠️ Because there are quite a few of them.

Honey is a very strong character even after what life has thrown at her she rises above it all. I loved this absolutely different take on the Omega wolf, it’s so different than anything I have ever read before.

This book has a little bit of everything from
Fated mates, unique storyline, damaged FMC that doesn’t break but becomes stronger, all kinds of supernatural species and fast burn steamy romance.

I devoured this book from start to finish in one sitting and I am in need of so much more! Definitely a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ read!

Yes!

Finally a pr harem with a woman! I don’t know but most rh aren’t believable because they have m/m but no f/f. You cannot tell me the most enticing species walls into your school, mates the most powerful males, but never a female?!! I loved this. Everything about it! Ronnie was my favorite. I just kept thinking I want more and I can’t wait for the next installment. I’m not even mad about the ending and normally cliffhangers make me mad!

Its so terrible. There is no depth to the characters, they mohe so quickly, her mates are terrible towards her (even the ones that want her aren't helpful... because somehow when they bully her it's not enough that she telles the principle who did it? Awesome of him, her mate, to just let her be bullied and assulted like that...). Its also so fast paced that its just ridiculous.

Save yourself the time and skip this one...

This was disgusting.

Not the abuse itself, though that was awful, but the writing of it. The use of the abuse as a driving source of conflict in the story without any real understanding of how such trauma shapes people and their actions. Within weeks she is performing the same acts on her lovers that her father/abuser did, without any traumatic response, despite the fact that her lovers themselves bullied and debased and abused her. She allows them to hold her wrists? To hold her down?

This was not abuse written for healing, nor was it something written to help others understand or heal. This was blatant misuse and misappropriation of trauma for ‘angst’ points in a story that already suffered a multitude of other issues: plot holes, weak characters, no character growth, poor pacing, weak sentence structure, trite/juvenile ideas and dialogue.

This story reads as though the author has some kinks that they haven’t been able to explore and so are using their writing and a medium to do so, but lack the maturity or emotional breadth to know that partners in healthy relationships would NEVER act as those in this story do. The fact that so many have rated this story highly shows deep and significant problems in our own cultures because no person should ever be in a relationship with any individual who treats another the way they do each other in this story. It’s grotesque.

Final note: even in RH, who the fuck wants NINE mates?

The only positive to this story is the main characters’ open mindedness to a variety of sexual partners, and even then it reads more as the author’s one dimensional and fetishized kink than any kind of real relationship. Having same sex pairings in novels is great but not if you do it solely for them to be exhibited as though they’re porn.

Great First book in the series

This is a fast burn RH which has some MM and some FF scenes and interactions.

I'm not generally into fast burn books but Honeys story is very compelling and had me in quite an emotional state at the beginning, there were actual tears.

Some of her mates come easy to her, some are a bit more stand offish others are more like a bully romance.

There is plenty here for RH lovers and people that want an emotional story of a girl that's strong and trying not to break and move on from a hard home life. You will root for her and want to defend her, she has such a kind soul.

I thoroughly enjoyed it, despite the emotional upheaval and am looking forward to book 2.

There’s barely any plot until the last quarter and it all revolves around her abusive monster of a father. The books is primarily just sex. And a bullying romance. I almost didn’t finish. Also warning of sexual abuse and rape situations

EL Rose really gave her all in this debut novel and it shows. It’s a very quick burn but that doesn’t distract from the story. Definitely some trigger warnings and I was literally saying “OMG” and getting very emotional towards the characters and situations. Don’t let these deter you though, they are integral to the story and the evolution of the characters.

The author created a different shifter world and grabbed your attention, you’ll be wanting to know more. However, the star of this novel, Honey is an amazing character. Strong, compassionate, fair and everything you would want in a lead character. She had overcome so much, and continues to do so.

As for her mates, there are definitely a lot, each with their own background and baggage. Some you absolutely love, others not so much. Maybe they will grow on me. We’ll see.

I think the main reason you need to read this is for the last...maybe third/quarter or so of the book. I was on the edge of my seat, there were so many emotions, and I just loved it. Looking forward to more of this author’s releases!

YES YES YES!!! Give us more!!!

Honeyyyyyyyyyyyy!!! This book broke my heart. I cried like a baby through Honey’s suffering. God it was brutal, but the love she found with her nine mates was so beautiful😭😍 This author did great with this one! Superb writing and although it is a fast burn she did an amazing job showcasing each character. This is a multi POV which I love! This is a story of a young woman who suffers tremendously at the hands of someone who was suppose to be a protector to her a father!!! Our FMC picks herself up and finds her mates not without lots of drama first! The ending of this book will shred you, but leaves us with hope and I do hope we get a book two because this story is amazing and I want lots and lots more!!!

Wow!!! Very strong debut for E.L Rose and the Leafwood Academy. This is a book that I could not put down. This is a book full of palpable angst, pain and emotion. Do NOT take the trigger warning lightly it contains possible triggers including sexual assault, bullying and assault, all of which are written in detail. The written is detailed and vivid. Honey is a very likable and strong character. It is fast paced, non-stop, large harem paranormal RH romance.

The story in this debut is compelling. The characters make you live and hate them in turn, but they do take responsibility for their behavior. The harem is varied and interesting, including aspects of poly relationships that are well defined. I am anxious to see the next book, as I feel the author will continue to develop the story and characters in ways that draw the reader in.

For someone with a troubled past, Honey is surprisingly strong without being overboard. It makes her believable and relatable.

Fans of shifters, packs, mating and similar themes will enjoy this book.

Very fast burn. Large harem (9 by the end).

Honey was abused by her father for years before being rescued. I wish there had been more on her recovery process but she seems to bounce back very quickly after being rescued.

The motivation of some characters seems weird especially since literally all of their concerns turn out to magically disappear.

Still, if you're looking for a book with a lot of steamy scenes, this will do the trick.

Good story

Argh, this is really really tricky for me as I really hate leaving any kind of negativity on reviews, but I do have to be honest. OK, so positives.... First, I really like the storyline and the characters. I liked how it ended and would be interested to see what happens in Book 2 - which is good. Negatives, editing and grammar, but also the writing style for me is very stilted, I feel like we are being told everything without real description, emotion or timing and are expected to just accept it as is. The conversations are really stilted too and often conversations happen that are just fact telling situations - it's kinda bizarre. The lovin' scenes were extremely plentiful but I found myself just skipping through them - I think primarily what frustrated me quite a bit is that Honey was kept as a prisoner by her father, repeatedly physically and sexually abused (orally), yet so much didn't add up. She was allowed out the house on her own to buy groceries and do dodgy drug runs for Grady so why the hell didn't she leave? Even after years of abuse, we are expected to be OK with her getting her jig on with her mates literally just weeks later without any ptsd repercussions?? And don't get me started on the bullying by the heirs....

Look, there's a really great story, with lovely characters

THIS BOOK IS INCREDIBLE! Omega Found has everything, mystery, love, heartache, fun, darkness, a large harem...EVERYTHING. E.L. Rose makes her debut with this book and it takes you on an emotional journey. Honey, the FMC, is a fighter and has overcome so many painful things in her life. A series of awful, yet fortunate, circumstances bring her to Leafwood Academy, where she is introduced to a life she should have always had. It doesn’t mean things are easy and simple though. Honey is on a rollercoaster, meeting some of the best mates you could imagine, and some of the worst. Without spoiling anything too much, Cam is an unexpected treat that will have your heart racing and your panties disintegrating, I promise. While some of the others, *cough* Syler *cough* you’ll want to nut punch. Repeatedly.

As a reader, take the trigger warnings seriously, there is a lot of dark content, but it really is integral to the story and Honey’s journey. It makes Honey’s discovery of her own strength and the strength of those around her sweeter and it makes you appreciate what they are all going through that much more. There were twists and turns throughout, and of course, a cliffhanger. NOT COOL! It’s hard to let go of this story, but I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book, I’m hooked! You need to read Omega Found and see for yourself!

Another new author I got to discover when their first book is released. I love to know them and follow them from the beginning.
I seriously hope this books I gonna have a lot of attentions and love because this author and this story deserve it.

First, I love Honey, she is open-minded, forgiving and I have the feeling she will turn into a true badass.

Her harem, I didn't think I would like this much the high number in her harem but I am in love with all of them and couldn't choose a favorite . And Ronnie, the only female was really right in her place along Honey and among the male members.
I really loved that each relationship with each guy was set with a different speed.

I am a big lover of multiple POV and all supernatural. I like when a lot of supernatural species mingle

And lastly, oh my, the TWIST, I saw it coming, I knew it was coming from a mile away but despite knowing E. L still managed to kick the anxiety at the maximum and beat my heart with a ski stick.

When I was at the last chapter I try to keep flipping the pages to see if book 2 would miraculously appear.

Honey is a wolf shifter. Her father kept her chained for ten years in the basement accusing her for being responsible for her mother and brother deaths. With no hopes she doesn’t see a way out until she’s rescued by The headmaster of Leafwood academy.
Given a scholarship to attend the school, she’s now rooming with a widower alpha wolf.
She had no idea what kind of wolf she is and what part she would play in a pack, but as strange feelings start to appear with other species becomes clear that she’s an Omega.
The four princes, wolf and dragon shifters, a Fae and an incubus are her mate, but they strongly reject her, certain that she would not accept their preferences and because they strong believed that it would mess with their kind being mated with a wolf.
With her father gone of prison, it puts her in real danger. So all the mates she collected in this short time have to make up their mind if they want to keep her safe!

This was my first time reading a book by this author and I have to say I really enjoyed it. Although I'm usually not a big fan of academy books I found myself drawn in and compelled to finish reading.

They only con I can think of for this book is that I wish the FMC had a bigger backbone and stood up to some of her mates more than what we saw. This however is a personal preference because I tend to like my FMC to have a take no sh*t attitude. I also understand that she is an Omega so having that in mind I think the author did a great job introducing her to us and having just the right personality. The guys I'm in love with but I REALLY hope Sylar grovels on his knees for an extended period of time in the next book before Honey even considers taking him as a mate.

I can't wait to see what's in store for book 2 and to see where Honey's story takes us.

This was am intriguing, dark debut novel. I liked Honey, she has been abused for years, and when she finally gets out, she is rejected, taunted, and harassed at the academy by some of her mates. Even though she has endured this she is resilient and stands up for herself. This is super fast burn, and I kind of wished there had been a bit more relationships building. This is a fated mates story, and by the end there are 9. I do this Phoenix and Riddic needed to put a bit more groveling, and I kind of felt bad for Legion as I felt like he showed remorse but was kept dangling compared to other mates. That being said, I liked the overall story and the storyline was interesting. I am definitely intrigued and will be watching for book 2

If you have triggers, I would read the warning. There is definitely some graphic content that could be triggering.

One crazy ride (spoilers)

Woah this book takes you on one crazy ride. Don’t read if you can’t handle sexual assault from a parent. I loved how Honey finally got away from her puke of a father. I’m Glad she had Grady to help her before Roman took her away. I didn’t like how the heirs treated her made me sad. I’m Glad she met all her mates. I’m glad she forgave them and accepted them. Hopefully they find her and are reunited. Can’t wait to see what kind of babies she has. Can’t wait to read more.

Sadly not for me.

I read the sample and hated the writing style, but liked the idea so I kept going.

Unfortunately, the writing didn't improve and I can actually imagine the entire cast of characters as robots, due to the complete lack of emotional engagement in the writing. This story had the potential for edge-of-your-seat angst and tension, but instead is a flat read, strung together by very many sex scenes which completely lack heat, due to the detached writing style.

I finished the book, but I won't be reading the next one in the series.
