Parenthood. A never-ending cycle of sleep deprivation, destructive messes, and unconditional love. With the ink on the adoption papers dried and legal, there is only one thing left to make their family forever binding.

Their lives are going to change whether they’re ready or not. For better or for worse, they must weather the storm on their doorstep hand in hand; together.

It's a hard book to summarize, as everything about it fascinates me. It's a perfect blend of characters, romance, and story. As I read this book, I feel as if I am receiving a genuine embrace. I found it relaxing, comforting, and it worked wonders for lifting me out of a reading slump.
The author did not disappoint me once again in writing this book, which I have been waiting for for quite a while. This is once again a moving story about Simon and Cherish. Their everyday lives, all beautifully written to reveal how far they have come as a couple.
Again, reading how they are coping with their children and their parents was realistic and nostalgic. While it could be too much at times, it was nevertheless gripping.
As the story unfolded, it came to life. It continues to amaze me how this enables the author to paint such vivid pictures of the locations and people they visit. And the writing style transitions seamlessly between descriptions and dialogue, which follows a fluid pattern.
When you read and imagine the struggles this couple faces, it's like telling a story that's full of gut-wrenching plot twists without sugarcoating it.
This story is a triumph, and reading it from beginning to end was an enjoyable experience. I was able to remain engaged and keep track of the action in the story due to its well-balanced structure. A novel with such a great combination of sweetness, humor, and amazingness is so refreshing.
There's no doubt I recommend this series. Writing is good, and implementation is fantastic.
Ok, so I've been waiting for this installment for a.long time. I actually reread books 1and 2 just to refresh and take notes. I had so many questions. What's up with Jim? will Susan be caught? Will Cherish continue her education? But to be honest, it didn't quite work out the way I thought it would. We open with a young lady, but we don't know who she is. But we soon figure it's Susan in a previous life. Just starting at the law firm. And her introduction to Simon, but it doesn't show her descent into obsession. Just that she likes him but he's engaged to Emily. I wish authors shared more background with Emily. Remember she had already passed in the first book and we only got flashes of her. But we only get to know her through brief memories. In ways of a lot of tell but no show. That would have been a great time to show her more. Also, Jim never show up again in this book. And as big of a character as he was in Book 2, I expected to see him again or at least have his relationship to Emily/family explained, brother/cousin? I don't know. I feel like this book missed so many opportunities to bring the backstory of Simon, Emily and Cherish more into the light that I was kinda disappointed 😞. I'm still fully vested but worried about the end.
P.S. I did chuckle at the return of Kenisha. Now that was on point!🤗

Cherish and Simon: The Third Year is a suspenseful interracial romantic comedy that earned a rating of four stars. The love between Cherish and Simon grew stronger in the mist of scandals and their enemies coming for them to make their life miserable. I enjoyed reading this book and look forward to reading the finality. I would recommend the Cherish and Simon books to everyone who enjoys reading good romantic comedies.
I love this series of books. Simon & Cherish’s love is so vibrant & pure. It’s an unconditional & unwavering union between a man & women. I love that Cherish is so grounded ( Wal-Mart is my guilty pleasure also). With all the craziness that is constantly being thrown at them , their love rises out of the ashes like a Phoenix. I can’t wait for the next installment of this love story.
I don't know how I missed this one, but I am glad that I didn't miss out. Loved this addition to Simon and Cherish's story. Seeing them grow and evolve as a couple and individually is a treat. And Susan getting what she deserved.... I literally cackled at that moment.... Anyhow...I am ready for the final book... how much longer?
For me, Morian and Watson knock it out the park once more! I laughed, I screamed (ugh, Susan!), I cried...more than once! (Jack!) A very well done junior novel in this series!. I. CAN'T. HARDLY. WAIT. for The Fourth Year!
I really enjoyed this book can't wait for the next installment. This was a great book with drama and romance. Loved the chemistry between Simon and Cherish. Each character had their own personality and the journey of the story line was believable and entertaining. I say get the series and enjoy!
Set aside a few typos but this story always takes but. These two authors are always awesome and the storyline is very engaging and now that spoiler alert the new surprise on the way I can't wait to read the finale of the series.
The GOOD: I've been waiting for this book for a year, and I'm in the holding pattern for book 4. Cherish and Simon's world is a lot lighter. A whole heap of a lot lighter than book 1. I loved the humor and family bonding. The babies were so entertaining and well woven into the story.
The Not So GREAT: Spelling errors and attributing the wrong pronouns. Repetitive statements about family. Cherish's character and life seemed to wane. She was in the story but she was a supporting character.
This family is absolutely cute. Everyone has their shining moments of being hilarious but all moments are stolen by the adorableness of the twins. I can't wait for the finale but will be saddened with the end of Gabot shenanigans
I began reading this series a couple years ago but stopped and always planned to start back so I did I'm glad I did because it's been like binge watching but I got to the last book and it's an incomplete series I hate that. I liked the books. The 1st 2 had too many details and I found it unnecessary to read but all in all it felt like the watching the lives of these 2 people unfold I guess I'm waiting on book 4 ugh.
The characters are lovable and real. I especially like the interactions between them and the children. Junior and Jasmine are absolutely adorable. The families are wonderful and their support of Cherish is a joy to read. My only criticism is word choice and editing. The use of a thesaurus and an editor can take these books from a good read to a great read.
The editing in this book is terrible. I keep trying to read this but the spelling and grammar mistakes along with the repetitive dialogue makes this so hard to get through. I'm good on this series
It is about time for someone to get what they deserve. I can’t believe the level someone would stoop to for revenge. Love, love the kids, their words put a smile on my face every time. Will check out the finale.
Part three of this wonderful series has many moving parts. Simon and Cherish are planning their wedding while in the background their enemies are plotting and planning!
