Published in 1990, Williams - The Quest for Silver Wings is 'Superbase 13' in the Osprey series of photo tours of big military bases. At time of print, Williams was the largest training base used by the USAF, typically graduating 350 pilots each year. This means that the more than 120 well captioned colour photos are dominated by pics of T-37 and T-38 types together with some fine pics of graduation ceremonies. Well worth a look.
