Orphan Jade gets offered a chance of a lifetime to get away from the life she's in now and opportunity of a new life by an enigmatic man. Her life changes when she starts working for him at Nymess - The Devils Playground. I loved Jade's friend - Daniel. She had me laughing with her wit and sarcasm. There was definitely an interesting dynamic between Jade and the guys - Colt, Savage, Quinn and Gage. As well as a steamy one too!! It's a refreshing take on the RH romance book and it was a bloody good read too.
Will Dani get her own book too?? I really hope so

Jade is given an opportunity to change her life from living in an orphanage to having everything she wants. When a client talks in front of her a little too much, Jade’s life is put in danger. A series of coincidences leads her to meet her mates. They are all in the fight for their lives. This book was fantastic! I did not put it down once I started! I love that there wasn’t insta-love between Jade and a couple of her guys. If you love the an Rh with fates mates, nonstop action, and an emotional ending, then you should definitely read this book.

So I didn’t think I’d be able to get to this book this quickly but turns out I had a spare few hours and ended up picking it up and I am so glad I did! The story is a dark one no doubt about that but it’s my kinda dark!, I loved how the playground allowed them what they thought was a safe place to get all they needed but in a twist of call it fate it’ll u will she finds out everything she thought she knew was a lie! A hit, seriously sizzling men, the mafia and mates are all entwined in this story of a kick ass girl loved it!!

Brilliant read.
Jade has led an interesting life, even before she enters the Devils Playground. She struggled to learn who she is whilst growing up. But she jumps at the chance to live in the Devils playground. Becoming the woman she is, is an experience but the reality is that she has a lot to learn. Colt, Gage and Quinn are there to help her learn and find their way but they are harbouring secrets of their own and their past experiences don't bode well for trust.

This book is so good. It hooked me in from the first page, and I could not put it down. This will definitely be on my reread list. I didn't like the guys at first but after learning about their pasts, I grew to love them. The FMC is the best. She doesn't just wait around for her men to fix all her problems. She goes and grabs her BA bestie and works on her own solutions. I hope there is a sequel so we can find out more about Savage!!

I really got sucked into this book. The characters each gripped me and wouldn't let go. With you able to read the pov for each of them builds the book up so much more.
The twists Jade goes through and how she has to try to forget what Finn did to her in the past,so she can open upto her mates even though two don't seem to like her. We still get a great ending that also leaves you slightly hanging on what if and who.
Totally recommend this book as it's something different.

Wow
I started reading this story in an anthology and was so excited to keep reading and find out more about Jade and her mates. Let me tell you, this did not disappoint. I loved how they unfolded the story, and that ending, wow. Absolutely love this book, Jules Hunter, you have given us another great story!

Loved this story from start to finish. Definitely had great steam and the characters were engaging. The story line is fantastic and pulls you in! This would be a fantastic start to a series if the author so chose to make it one!

I received an ARC of this and…
Y’all! For personal reasons I had to “ration” my reading time so this book took 3 days to read. Don’t let that fool you!! It is an absolute pager-turner!! Characters were written so well and “lifelike”/believable in their development. I don’t want to spoil anything, but can we please see more of Dani?!! Pretty please?

Oh this book!!! I had a taste in the devils playground anthology then pre- ordered as soon as I could and it was worth the wait! You have both totally outdone yourself! This was just brilliant. The story line, the world building, the drama, the sexy! The ending! This book is really well written with the perfect balance of everything you could want plus a dash of spice! I highly recommend.

I think I found my mate 💜 Savage
At the start of the book I thought I knew where it was headed but add in some crazy and hot (maybe a mix of both) mates and it ended up somewhere unexpected. Jade definitely changes throughout the book, she slowly starts to embrace herself more. Can we talk about Savage 🤤 sorry Colt. Yeah I need me a purple eyes demon, I think I'm in love💜

I loved this story when it was teased in an anthology and fell in love with the conclusion.
Jade is a strong woman who has found herself in a situation she never could have imagined, she is happy in the life she has; UNTIL one day she just wants a cup a coffee. (Heart thundering / Gasp)
Jade's mates (the amount of mates is TBD) have a heck of time keeping this headstrong woman off of the evil villain's radar (Grrrrr). Along with new mates to help keep Jade alive, she has an amazing kickass BFF named Dani who is her wildcard or is it Joker? hehehehe
This book keeps you on your toes, you think its going to be one way then its another. And who is this mystery villain? And Why? Then WTH, (with tears). And FINALLY Awwwww.
Once you pick up this book you will sick back, relax and enjoy the ride. I know I did.

So this story had a lot of potential. I really like how everything built up and built up, but I have to be honest, I was a little let down with the ending. I feel like for everything that was built up to, there should have been a bit more than just "oh, I killed the other guy because he was to fast" and then her mates come in and kill the bad guy, and then bam, it's done. I do feel like this could have been a great series, but I understand not all books are meant to be series. I am not disappointment that I read the book, I actually enjoyed it, I just wish the final fight had a bit more meat to it.

Apartment 29 is an awesome book! The characters are well rounded and interesting, especially Dani, the fairy wh•re. With lots of twists and turns, humor and steam, it will keep you entertained from beginning to end. I highly recommend Apartment 29 and can't wait for Dani's story 💜

This story had me hooked from page one. The mixture of supernatural, gangs, and gods was an interesting combination and I loved the variety it provided for the characters surrounding the fmc, Jade, in both friends, clients, and love interests.
Jade was such an interesting character with a somewhat heartbreaking past that influenced her present lack of desire for any type of relationship. Trust is something she doesn't easily give and the same goes for her heart. Even with her hangup about relationships, it was fun to watch her try to figure out her whole mate situation, especially with the range of affections the men showed her. I rather enjoyed the hesitation on some of the guys' parts and that they questioned the bond. Sometimes I don't want an insta love kind of story and this book was perfect for what I was currently wanting--a little bit of hesitation and hate with a side of insanity.
This book was definitely a fun and exciting read! A touch of darkness with a little bit of humor as well makes this a book that I will read again. I look forward to hopefully seeing more from some of the side characters in this book as well. I think there could be so many possibilities with the amount of supernaturals as well as the jobs they all have in The Devil's Playground.

A weak 2.5 stars.
I reached up to chapter 20 while taking breaks while reading this. Skimmed until chapter 25.
I got tired when we started the chapter where Jade has to use 2 chapters to rehash to Dani what took place. Then the guys infighting. Then Jade acting all bad ass then the moment she actually does something other than running her mouth towards saving herself, she ends up crying.
The best and well written scene is when Jade meets all the guys. That was good.
The concept would have been better if it was a short book and if at the end, that's when Dani is being set up for her own book. This felt like too much information and a lot of rehashing back and forth and arguing over a non-existent Camilla.

Wow apartment 29 blew me away when I first started reading the book I didn't think it was the type of book it turned out to be but I am extremely happy it was. Jade the main character was brought up in a child's home and ended up finding out who she truly was which was a siren and a succubus she also ends up finding out she has 5 mates who are also all supernatural beings. Her best friend dani is a fae. You definitely don't want to miss out on this book especially if you love reading about lots of steamy scenes. I hope there is more books following jade or dani

Don’t let the contemporary-ish cover fool you — this book is full of magic and mayhem and mates! Yes—plural. MATES. This is a #whychoose paranormal ero-romance, wonderfully imaginative, that is a lot of fun to red. Seriously LOVED the side/supporting characters, especially the heroine’s friend, Dani —and I’m now waiting anxiously to see if Dani will have her own story featuring her own sexy mates for us to enjoy.

Ok. So. I am not a big fan of paranormal, but I truly enjoyed the book. I did want to through my phone when you killed "him"! How could you!!!!
I was surprised by the ending, but so wish for just a little bit more. How did he do it????
What happened? It's almost as if ended too abruptly. It feels incomplete as I also wanted to know the other's reaction. Feel like I am left hanging with so many questions...

I really enjoyed this book and it wasn’t what I was expecting but it was so good. Jade had a hard life before she was found now she loves her life until she meets her mates .😉🤣
