After reading the first one, knowing how disappointing it was, you’d think I would have learned my lesson. Nope, I just HAD to read the 2nd one to see what happened next. While the writing itself is fine, I still don’t like what has happened to Billy Batson/Shazam in Future State.

I just realized the cover spoils the big reveal. Lame. Still a good comic though

I enjoyed this darker, more grim story. The ending was left open to sell more books. Even so, I liked it.
