Such a dark and gripping volume. Everything in this series is changing and not in a good way. Emotions and pain are at an all time high. Everyone is on edge. I enjoy the dark tones some manga's go for, it all depends on how it gets there, this one delivers it in a fantastic way.

Shuda defeats Deep Snow. There's some weird, kinda unnecessary stuff about how Deep Snow is kinda-sorta the surrogate son of King when King thought Lucia was dead, and Shuda inherited Gale's sword to protect Haru when Gale couldn't, so the battle between both men is something like a mirror of the future battle between Haru and Lucia.

We almost see some of Elie's mammaries- uh, I mean MEMORIES, but Lucia "conveniently" destroys the Star Vestige before it can happen. We then move into a battle between Haru and Lucia, in which Haru activates the ninth sword of Ten Commandments: Sacrifar. It basically self-casts the Berserk spell from Final Fantasy, boosting Haru's power by shutting off all emotions except for rage.

****

Elie boobies in that tight top on the cover of Chapter 164...!

(This is a rather serious volume, and therefore lacking in fanservice.)

Plume plays a crucial part in this volume. I was taken back a bit by all the things happening…not in a bad way. Haru must release the 9th power of the 10 power swords. The catch is that Silfarion can only be activated by sacrificing the life of the wielder! Hiro Mashima delivers again!

Rave Master Haru wanted to get to Star Memory, but Jegan showed up to stop them, so they got into a big fight, then one side would emerge victorious.
The main characters of Rave Master are Haru, Musica, Elie and Plue. With the antagonists being the “Oracion Six.”
Haru is a fun-loving guy, though he is a bit dumb sometimes. He’s always looking out for his friends. He usually wears a colored jacket and long jeans, and wields a sword called the Ten Powers.
I relate to Haru’s struggle to help out his friends, because he always tries but falls short often.I, too, always end up failing a task after coming within inches of success.
I can also relate to a lesser protagonist, Shuda’s struggle to keep a promise to Haru’s father, Gale,
when he promised he would defend Haru.
I love these books because they’re action-packed. With a lesser bit of romance. My favorite part of this book is when Let fights with Jegan. My least favorite part was when Deep Snow showed up. That guy’s a jerk.
I recommend this book to anyone who’s going to love action and adventure elements.
I also think it’s just a good book for bored people.
