I bought this book for my 8 year old grand-nephew and he loved it. It's a very cute book for younger children, extremely easy to read with a very sweet message on how the little ones can be more involved with helping around the house and being responsible for their pets. Ava Lewis shows wonderful potential and I hope she continues writing as she gets older.

A girls dream come true.
This is such a delightful story about how much Abby wanted a puppy. I like how it showed her to be responsible and a lovely person able to make good decisions and care for a dog. Well done Ava!

Excellent book! Was a birthday gift for my friends daughter and she loved it. Considering that Ava, the author was only 9 when she wrote this book it was extremely well written. It shows that kids could learn responsibility when they really want something. I hope she writes more books!!
