Overall a good read. I don’t have many complaints besides the ending. I can understand it to a point but I just personally wasn’t a fan. Maybe if a second book about their child comes out and shows how they will be fighting back for the pack, I will be able to appreciate the ending of this book. I do think if a second book comes out and is read along with this one, it would be one of the best books in the series. But since there is no second book, I’ll stick to 4 stars.
Some of the more positive points: I enjoyed the slow burn. I think it was done really well and left you wanting them to find out just the right amount of time. Although it didn’t leave many chapters for us to see them together. I maybe would have liked a bigger reveal when they finally confessed instead of in a tent in the middle of the woods, but I’m not overly mad at it.
I think this is one of the better ones as a stand alone. You don’t need much support from the other books in the series to read it.
