Awaken for her
What an amazing story! I love this series and can’t get enough of the characters and the storyline. The author has taken us back to the time of druids and dragons making for such an exciting and fast paced read. I enjoyed how Bram is this big alpha male, and yet he doesn’t mind being the support staff for his mate. This book has so many layers and with each turn of the page a new truth is revealed. I love that we got to see more of the original characters, and it made me want to se Thorn’s story even more, well and the girls’ and the other dragons. Okay! I basically can’t wait to read the next book, no matter who the featured couple is, it is sure to be amazing.

I am really loving this series! This is the second book of the series and this author knocked it out of the park. She has such a vivid imagination I felt like I was right there with Bram and Zara. Bram and Zara are relatable, likable and have intense chemistry. I can’t wait for the next installment!!

Zara is a police officer trying to become a detective. Life has not been easy for her. Even her fellow police officers treat her like a pariah. Detective John is a veteran on the force and takes Zara under his wing despite what others think. Zara has become independent and a loner out of necessity. Bam is a dragon shifter. He has been in hibernation for years but it awakened by the power of his mate. He feels an instant connection but must break the Zara's walls.

This book is a 4.2 star read for me. This is my first book by the author and after reading the description I knew this books was for me. I'm not sure if it's because this is the second book in the series or if this is just how the author writes, but the story started off with a major plot. You me from the first page there would be more than meets the eye. The only reason I did not give the book five stars was because even though the book was faced paced, there were still times things lagged for me. The book was still very enjoyable and I will definitely grab the next book so I can continue with the series.

Zara is training to be a detective and attending yet another murder with her senior present... When out of nowhere appears Bram... He has been sent to protect his mate whose powers will fully develop soon.
Bram manages to convince Zara of his and her special abilities in part rather easily much to his surprise, but is she really convinced?
Its pretty hard to deny power when you use it to fend off an attacker though...
Zara is adamant she needs absolutely no one in her life especially not Bram...but her body will betray her mind.
Dragons can only mate with humans with druid magic and Bram will do anything to keep her safe.
This serial killer is bleeding women dry and doesn't appear to be stopping anytime soon... Will Zara be a target?
She seems to fit the type of victim.

I read this book in one evening and four I couldn't put it down... The dragon definitely bewitched me just as he did the main female character.
I adored how Bram is written with his overly protective nature towards his mate and his alpha male attitude.
The book was perfect in many ways including being well paced and having a strong storyline.
I cannot praise this writer enough for this strong and powerful contribution to paranormal romance.

The 2nd book in this Dragon Rules series, and this is Bram and Zara's story.

Zara is a detective in training and is hot on the case of a serial killer when she first meets Bram, who introduces himself as a consultant on the case.

Of course Bram is anything but, he is there for his destined mate Zara and makes no bones about declaring that she is his. Now he has found her he has no intention of letting her go, is very protective and just won't take no for an answer.

Zara has no idea she has druidic blood and is about to come into her power. She doesn't want Bram's help but doesn't seem really phased when he tells her what he really is. But she is determined to crack the serial killer case, which seems to include the Black Dragons, one in particular seems to crop up again and again. But the case takes on a bit more of a personal note for Zara.....

A good story line with plenty of action and suspense, it's an instant attraction, he's a bit of a caveman but I don't really feel the connection to Zara, she's a bit standoffish. Still I enjoyed it, I love the dragons and the theme building with the druids and the whole temple thing. There a lot of characters still to explore which I'm looking forward to.

Well Zara really has met her match in Bram and it is worth it reading about.
Bram will not let anything get in the way of him being with his mate, not even herself.
This is the second in the series that I have read so far and it is holding my attention well.
This author has a great imagination and it shows in her writing and nothing is off limits.
From the deepest hidden thoughts to the hottest steamiest scenes, she brings it all out there.
I am really looking forward to the next book in the series but am not going to tell you which member of the clan that I am really looking forward to reading about....a little hint, he can't change and is stuck.

Enjoyable paranormal fantasy romance featuring detective Zara Torres working a crime scene when she encounters her fated mate, Dragon shifter Bram, only she doesn’t know it yet!
The world building surrounding the dragon society is original and appealing delivering a suspenseful, magical powered adventure plot that flies along as quickly as a dragon in flight.
The characters are likable and provide the reader with a captivating, steamy reading experience.
The author has created an imaginative narrative which I look forward to continuing in future stories featuring these alpha dragon shifters and their fated mates.

This is my first time reading this author and after the blurb I was excited to dig in. Zara is a detective this trying to establish herself professionally because of the sexist culture (not all police officers are sexist, this is just a reflection of her interactions) of police work. Zara’s career focused and has no time to think about relationships, her powers, and then Bram literally appears in front of her. As Zara is bombarded by his abrupt appearance so was I. Fated mates is a troupe I find enjoyable, but with Bram I had to go with it. I did not feel that either character was established enough for me to get a read on them. Their chemistry was good and the story was interesting. I will look out for other books in this series.
I received an arc for my honest review

I didn’t realize this was the second book in a series. While I enjoyed the storyline, I felt a little lost when Bram mentioned events that occurred affecting characters who did not make an appearance in this story. The book is fast paced and includes dragons, magic, druids, black dragons, mages and dark magic.

The relationship between Zara and Bram is destined - he wakes up from a century long sleep on the Eve of Zara’s 23rd birthday when her Druid magic will mature.

I enjoyed the book, but had some challenges following along with the overall plot since some of it seemed to be based on events that occur in a previous book.

Bram was a very well-written story by one of my favorite authors. This book 2 in The Dragon Rules Book Series was interesting with very well-thought out scenes, characters, and story. These characters have strong wills, personalities and believable interactions. This story has the following: intrigue, twists, turns, adventure, action, danger, love, steam and a HEA. I am on the lookout for new books by this author. Her stories get better and better.

After reading this book I had to take a little time to compose myself and get my thoughts clear in my head before I put them in a review.
Wow this book was amazingly written. Once I started I couldn’t put it down till I was finished. This book has twists and turns you don’t know what’s happening. will they all get there happily ever after or will it all go wrong. To find out what happens go buy the book. You won’t be disappointed I wasn’t.

Bram is the second book in the Dragons Rule series and what a great read! The storyline was engaging and kept my interest as well as the drama, twists, action, mistakes and emotional turmoil that created tension for the couple. Bram and Zara are both strong characters and that made for a well balanced couple. The attraction between the couple simmered along nicely as they engaged in a chemistry that was steamy and hot. I recommend this book.

Zara is a cop she and her partner are investigating the murders of 3 women who have had their throats torn out and they believe that whoever is doing this is only just getting started. Bram has awakened he goes to the scene to find his mate Zara but he insults her straight away telling Zara that her hair is too short his dragon wholeheartedly agrees with him but his mate is a female and a Druid so why does she dress like a man?. I loved this story and the characters and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

This is a standalone story and a larger series. And this series dragon shifters have been asleep for thousands of years and only awaken when they feel the call of their druid mate. The magic of The druids was almost destroyed, but the sacrifice of the past has led to their re-emergence today. And this story, Bram, a dragon shifter, helps his originally unwilling mate search for a serial killer who specializes in finding druids.

An interesting second book in the Dragon Rule Series! While I'm not much for police stories, this one revolving around Dragons, Druids and Magic made all the difference. Bram was a breath of fresh air, but Zara's stubbornness was a bit trying at times, but it all came out in the end with a more than satisfactory conclusion. I look forward to Connor's story next!

A story unlike any I have ever heard of. It is different but so beautiful. I liked the story. A women who had no connection with her mother. I don't understand if it was something Laura did not look at very closely or just decided that what she heard was the truth. I liked the way Bram would not let her go, no matter what she said or did. I could not put this book down. It captured my attention from the first page and held it throughout. I loved this series since the first book. Zara had no idea she was druid. No idea she had magic. Bram comes upon her in the middle of an investigation and reveals all. Zara went through a lot. Losing her mom, having her mom's reputation follow her on the job, etc. This book was so good. I can not wait for the next in this series.

Bram finds Zara and pursues her until she gives in. It was interesting to see how they would work things out, Zara is very feisty and wants to become a detective and protect people. She is on the hunt for a serial killer and this will intersect with The Dragons and Druids. A quick and interesting read. I would recommend this book.

Bram and Zara's Story . . .

Zara Torres is in for some unexpected surprises with a new case she has been given to solve. There are multiple bodies involved which have been drained of blood. She crosses the path of her very own sexy dragon, Bram, who claims they are mates. He is determined to protect her and his presence brings out her druid magic. Will she and Bram get their HEA? Can they defeat the killer she is after before it gets to her?

Bram is a newly awakened dragon. His mate is police officer Zara Torres, a young woman about to come into her druid power. Zars disbelives in magic and dragons etc, she has a serial killer to catch. They work together to catch the killer and also merge their two worlds. Really great story, well paced and the sub plot continues from the last book.

Bram has been waiting for his mate, Zara is use to relying on her own. Someone is after druid women. Will she let him close? Will he get what he has always wanted?

Loved the connection between these two. I didn't blame her for being confused and struggling to accept what was going on, but loved how when the choice was life or death, she stepped up. I loved how Bram was determined to wait her out and prove that he didn't want to change who she was. Good read!

This series is turning out to be quite enjoyable! I love that these dragons are one hundred percent devoted and loyal to their women. It is rare to have zero OW drama (bliss!). Bram is slightly less alpha than Legion, but still very unapologetically male ;-). He is totally smitten with Zara. Zara is a bad ass cop. She has a few TSTL moments, but they make for great damsel in distress situations. All in all I enjoyed this one and will definitely be reading the next installment! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I'm really enjoying this enticing and addictive series and I thought this entry was even better than the first. The blend of shifters, magic, danger, emotion, tension, twists, drama, heat and suspense is on point and skillfully crafted. Once I started this book I did not want to put it down. For now, I anxiously await the next book. This is my impartial, unsolicited review.

Detective Zara Kesslar is investigating a series of murders with her partner Officer John Torres. Zara doesn't know why John picked her as his partner but she's grateful. Bram Rule has found his mate but doesn't understand some of her choices like short hair for one. Bran inserts himself into Zara's investigation with his gifts much to Zara dismay. Will Zara accept Bram's help? Or even trust him? What's John hiding from Zara? Your answers await you in Bram.
