Agent Omkar Raghav of the Tactical Training and Infiltration is in trouble again. It has been just a day since he got in a big mess, with a very dangerous man. Naturally, things had to go wrong the very next day. With the cops closing in on the work of TTI, Omkar gets in far bigger problems, than he bargained for. Especially when Omkar absolutely hates the cop in question and the cop turns out to be his wife's best friend, from school. It is too much trouble to handle for Omkar. Some madness, plenty of mayhem and a little mystery.
Very enjoyable and keeps you guessing all the way through. Omkar's antics and the DCP's troubles were well brought out. The surprise was Kriti helping the two men. Nice mystery.
I love her main characters whose flaws they sometimes carry visibly, like their wounds. We see what they are thinking and it's interesting; both good and bad characters are three-dimensional. In this book she takes her time getting the plot going, but hanging around the main characters makes it interesting and ultimately it works.
There aren't many books that I would read from beginning to end in one sitting. This is one of those books that you really want to know what's going to happen next, a real page turner that kept you guessing right up until the end.
The story takes place in Sthapan, a place that has TTI, and organization taking care of law and order. Omkar, the protagonist encounters a tough cookie and lands himself up in further trouble. The DCP, Reyansh, happens to be a friend of his wife Kriti. Without spoiling the story for you, I can tell you that the complex web of mystery and the relationship has been built very richly by the author. Recommended.
A great, succinct book, the story kept me reading throughout. The plot’s pacing was perfect for a two-day read and I’d certainly recommend Krishnan’s work and read more from the author.
A driver is brought in for interrogation by Agent Omkar but he instantly smells a rat. DCP Reynash also wants involvement but can they work together to solve the crime. However, the DCP has his own reasons for gaining entrance to the TTI building and his involvement with Omkar's wife from way back is revealed. A brilliant criminal mystery that grips you from the start. Fast paced, plenty happening to keep you enthralled, with lots of twists and turns, I feel this author has upped his game to produce a great sequel. Good job!
I love reading these kinds of books. It was fascinating how everybody on the TTI team served their purpose. I also thought that the relationship between Omkar The agent and Kriti The tech genius and engineer was depicted. The muscle of the group our tasked with bringing in bad people and the less the engineers know, the better. That can get complicated when an engineer is caught in the crossfire. My only critique about this book is that I think it could use more editing. Other than that, it was a fantastic read and I enjoyed all of the characters, including the villain and his lackeys!
I was pleasantly surprised by this story. It is not usually a genre I would choose for myself but Krishna's ability to pull you in with her skilled writing talent, giving you just enough mystery to keep you on your toes through the entire book. Over all an enjoyable read which was very well written. Would recommend to any mystery lover.
