About the Book :
🍁A short read of 39 pages.
🍁This book is all about positive thinking. Accordingly people are divided in 3 categories
-Normal thinkers.
-Negative thinkers.
-Positive thinkers.
🍁Differences between overconfidence & positive thinking or life through a glass of positive thinker vs negative thinker is also explained.
🍁Thereafter how different thinking process effects life is shared.
🍁Various data, graph, tables & stats are also given to prove some points.
🍁What I felt was missing was the fact that many characteristics or habits that were stated of a negative thinker actually belonged to a group of people who are depressed or have other mental issues. So the author could have mentioned that point separately... Else it was a good short read.

This book talks about the most curious topics, i.e Thinkers. According to the author, there are 3 types of thinkers; Positive Thinkers, Negative Thinkers, and Normal Thinkers. The book puts an emphasis on different thinkers and their effects. I love the simplicity of the book and the practical-life examples that are easy to implement in real life. I loved the part where he connects overconfidence as extreme negative emotions. Now, we can understand people with more overconfidence rather than getting annoyed. This book discusses self-progress and how we can lead a life with positive thinking. After reading this book, I have started to analyze different people and how their lifestyle makes them a particular thinker. It's a brief book that discusses each of these topics in great detail and one can read it in one sitting.

Unlocking the secrets of Positive Thinking by Jayaram AS is a short book that attempts to differentiate two extremes of thinking. He explained how negative thinking harms our thought process and limit our success.

Positive thinking is often termed as a tool for overconfidence. But in real circumstances, both are entirely different ideas. Overconfidence is a clear path to failure. But using positive thinking, we can concentrate on the task at hand and improve the chances of success.

He suggests the SWOT analysis method for rewiring our mind with positive thinking. Overall, this short book has very valuable lessons which we can learn and apply in our life.

Amazing explanation of thinking. Key of SELF-PROGRESS.

This book explains about the difference between Positive Thinkers, Negative Thinkers and Normal Thinkers with real-life and great example of scenarios.

"A strong hobby will make everyone to forget worries. Such hobbies will make the negative thinker to forget negative thinking" (pg.no:24)
Really I have experienced with these lines. When ever I have troubles, usually my mind would engage with various thoughts. Definitely that thoughts will be about my self underestimate. That time I will got extreme depression. I used to overcome it by reading Books, doing household chores and making crafts. Like I will made me engaged to not let me thinking exaggerate. Because zen percent it will be negative thoughts.

" * Overconfidence is not positive thinking. In fact, it is the other extreme of negative thinking

* Sometimes, overconfidence is more harmful than negative thinking."( Pg.no:30)

This is my major mistake I often commit. During my schooling and college times I used to be overconfidence on my exams. By the result of this I will get only average percent. If I worked for it, definitely I will get top of the rank. But I commit the same mistake with my knowledge.

The author helps us to

find in which stage we are in, positive, negative or Norma thinking stage?

How to convert a negative thinking into positive thinking?

How to prepare the analysis for our self progress?

I highly recommend this book for our self-analysis and developing our positive thinking. The author has used diagrams to clarify our mistakes. Very easy read too.

Unlocking the Secrets of Positive Thinking talks about 3 types of thinkers. The author lays emphasis on positive thinking with a large number of examples. Some of which were unnecessary and not very useful.

The examples cover most of the book which 3 out of 4 chapters
The last chapter of the book tells us about some ways in which can become positive thinkers or at least try to think positively. There are 10 points that are quite helpful and easy to accomplish.
The writing style of the author is quite engaging though there are a few spelling mistakes in the book.
Honestly, I was expecting more from this book and the author.

I feel the examples just go on endlessly and are too repetitive. Three chapters of introduction to a self-help book are not really ideal.
Yet, the points shared were quite useful. So I did find this book helpful. It is a very short read so anyone can read it.

Unlock secret of positive thinking is a basic book, especially suitable for non readers which unlocks the concept of how positive thinking works. It along with positive thinking ,focuses on negative and normal that is neutral thinking of people.
With different examples it shows us the nature of the thoughts optimistic and pessimistic people have. These examples weren't much appealing and were messy too.
The book might not be inspiring but it might reflect you the efforts put to think negative, and not to do that in our life hence channeling that energy thinking postive and productive.
