As a member of the Blood Fury, Rev knows that blood does not make you family. Instead, his family left him to suffer for rules that they felt were Godly. Reilly has always lived with her sister Reese as her mother. Reese raised her like her own daughter and in doing so as an adult Reilly is always put to task with rules. The one rule that Reilly cannot stand is the one where she's untouchable to the Fury members. As far as she is concerned, who goes into her body should be her choice, not her sister’s!
When Rev's past comes back to haunt him, Reilly decides to make sure that he cannot be on his own for a journey down memory lane. However, that road will lead to a temptation that neither Reilly nor Rev can ignore. But when Rev and Reilly's journey is over, what will be at the end of that path? Because as everybody knows, the forbidden fruit always tastes the best but it's always the most dangerous.
As usual Jeanne St. James knows how to write a book that completely enthralls the reader from the 1st page to the last! The sex scenes were extremely steamy, the turmoil was epic as usual, and the characters of Reilly and Rev just popped out on the page and made you feel as if you knew exactly who they were. Usually when St. James starts a book it's the hero always trying to save the heroine in the book. However, with Reilly and Rev, unbeknownst to the strong, dangerous biker Rev, Reilly is the one to save him not only from himself but from a life that could totally destroy him. The way that Jeanne went about writing the story was a unique take on a hero and heroine's adventure into the unknown and into the forbidden forest of lust.
As always, I am hooked on whatever Jeanne St. James comes out with and Rev is no different. If you only have one book to choose from this month Rev would be my go to pick for sure! Because reading Rev is like standing in the center of a tornado! You watch as all the debris and all the excitement circles around you as you stay steady and quiet in the center. Because that is who Reilly is. She is the center of Rev.
