Purpose over Prison

Rate this book
This is a book that discusses a personal journey towards purpose. Growing up in the projects and having to combat the struggles of poverty everyday, it was an uphill battle to break the cycle and discover what I was put on this earth to do. My clarity came after leaving my family to serve time in a state penitentiary. I hope that this book will be an inspiration to you and help you discover your purpose.

The Mind is the Battle

Monique's book is inspiring for anyone! Purpose Over Prison helps people move forward and get "unstuck" as the author says. She made a conscious decision to change her life and her future. From a childhood of trauma to spending 5 years in federal prison, she fought that battle in her mind, and while in a halfway house, discovered possibilities. She found her purpose and lives by it today, helping others find their own way forward. I love this quote from the book, "The mind is the battle; if you learn how to control the battle in your mind, you can begin controlling your life."
