The book starts fine. There's a whole "you got to trust me because I got rich preaching this stuff, so I know what I'm doing" undertone, but that was OK. Then we got to hear the "10 habits of the richest people" and it was about "working hard - harder than anybody else" and "working 60+ hours a week."

I wish the author just pointed out that to get rich, you're likely going to have to sacrifice a lot in other areas of your life. Like Felix Dennis overtly explains in a much better book How To Get Rich.

Additionally, this book might have made its author rich back in the day, but in this era of fast-pacing technology advancements, it rings hollow.

Not to mention that the author — who admits to have borrowed this hypothesis of "hard work" being the #1 habit of richest people from Napoleon Hill — also borrowed Hill's half-assed research method of only speaking to those same richest people. Of course they didn't give much credit to luck in their rise to success, since that wouldn't look as good in their resumes, would it? :)

Not my cup of tea, since getting rich isn't more important than being happy. I'll keep my 40- hour work weeks, thank you very much :)

In "Make More Money," Brian Tracy outlines practical strategies for increasing income and achieving financial success. Here’s a summary of key concepts from the audiobook:

1. **Mindset and Attitude**: Tracy emphasizes the importance of a positive mindset. Believing in your ability to make more money is foundational. Cultivating self-confidence and a success-oriented mindset can significantly impact your financial outcomes.

2. **Goal Setting**: Establish clear, specific, and measurable financial goals. Tracy advises listeners to write down goals and create a detailed plan for achieving them. This helps maintain focus and motivation.

3. **Value Creation**: The core principle is to provide value. Identify what unique skills or services you can offer that meet market needs. The more value you provide, the more you can charge.

4. **Continuous Learning**: Invest in your education and skills. Tracy advocates for lifelong learning, whether through formal education, workshops, or self-study, to stay competitive and increase earning potential.

5. **Networking**: Building strong relationships and networking is crucial. Surround yourself with successful people who can offer guidance, support, and opportunities.

6. **Multiple Income Streams**: Diversify your income sources. Tracy suggests exploring side businesses, investments, or passive income opportunities to create financial stability and growth.

7. **Time Management**: Effective time management is essential for maximizing productivity. Prioritize tasks that align with your financial goals and delegate or eliminate those that don’t.

8. **Sales Skills**: Develop strong sales and negotiation skills. Tracy argues that selling is a key component of making money, whether you're selling a product, service, or your own skills.

9. **Taking Action**: Finally, take consistent action towards your goals. Tracy stresses that knowledge alone isn’t enough; implementing strategies and learning from failures is crucial for success.

By following these principles, listeners can create a roadmap to increase their income and achieve greater financial independence.

So am kinda binging on some Brian Tracy books right now - and noticed it seems a lot of his content pretty much the same and somewhat rehashed.

Like this book for example - pretty much the same stuff I discovered in his other books recently read but condensed to making money specifically and good habits when it comes to building wealth - which is still good because it’s content worth re listening / /reading to really ingrain info the brain - so perhaps worth a higher rating - but if your familiar with his work - doesn’t seem as groundbreaking after a while

Money is more often than not a mindset and not a physical thing. How you think about money matters. Yes, actual money is great but once you’ve got it, how do you think about it? How do you love your life and make it grow. It’s not a book about investing or even really how to get more money but about the mental aspect of money. The habits of people who have it versus those who don’t.

It’s written from the perspective of a privileged white male, so that caveat needs to be added. Yes, he has worked hard for his life but he likes to say he started out with nothing and worked his way up. I don’t doubt it. But I disagree fundamentally with his method of work and the idea that you just keep doing more than anybody else and you’ll get money. I’m not opposed to working, by any means, but my personal self matters too.

Most excellent writing and to the pount.

I always take notes and each page had a,b,c,din it for me to take notes on and read again and again and again. I have read Napoleon Hills book -all of them and his first one 3 times. I agree with his
Every statement and have images of
his notes into my brain. I started to read this book and was thrilled it was so short! Because I think this type of book is better read over and over, so short works for me. The author has some very good things to practice and I was thinking about several things I had started, and if I had finished even one, I would be much richer than I am now, so much time I wasted! Wish I had this book to read back then!

Chcesz poznać cechy ludzi sukcesu, milionerów którzy od zera doszli do milionów a nawet jeszcze większego bogactwa? Tak książka jest dla ciebie!
Ja wyciągnąłem z niej jedną ważną lekcję a mianowicie, pytanie: "Jaka zdolność podwoi mi dochód?", ja znam odpowiedź a raczej parę punktów, które sukcesywnie będę realizował!
Uwaga! Zmienia życie!

More than a money making book.

Yes this book tells you how to make more money. But I also found a lot of good life principles in this one. If theses principles are applied to more than just our money, this would be a better world.

good info

Information is good but a rehash of what is in his other available books and lectures that are available. If one has never read anything by him, then this a good summary of his wealth building chapters elsewhere.

Not about money

But about your mindset and how and what you can do to make money.
This book took me off guard. It is a good book. And teaches how you can change your mind set in ways to work towards making money.

The anti-get rich quick book. Read it and uncover the truth. One of Brian’s best.

One of the best books I've read by Brian Tracy, and I've ready over 20 books of his. Less positive self-help talk, more real wisdom from the caliber of people who are actually wealthy and running businesses, or at senior manager / executive levels. I highly recommend this with Victory! and The Science Of Money by Brian. If you've never read a book from him, Eat That Frog is a good place to start.

If you want book summaries of various blockbuster books, this is the one!
Snippets of best books like “how to be a millionaire”, “eat that frog” are bundled together in this very generic book. The title is just a click bait for random topics. Though the book is structured ok, there is not much you get if you have read good books on self help and money management. I liked a couple of good quotes, but other than that it’s better avoided
