I was a bit underwhelmed by the book. When you read a LitRPG you expect levels and stats and game-type mechanics that should have some effect on the story but there was almost none and the little that there was, was mentioned almost in passing and seemed to have very little effect on the story.

Also, the characters and storyline were not very interesting or compelling. It was almost as if someone wrote a watered down fantasy novel and then sprinkled some LitRPG phrases into it.

Quite disappointing.

I thought this book was much better than the reviews. It had a lot of story in the beginning to build up the idea and story around the game.

The ending was a little jarring, and people creating Lit-RPG games so people feel like they're playing a story where they're trapped was a little off. But damn if the voice actor kill the audio book. I thought it was pretty good over all.

I really want to start by highlighting the narration on this was spot on for the story. The story had way more depth than I expected and was pretty good. A few times a bit of plot armor was applied but it kept thing flowing. Even though this is book 1 I am pretty sure this is a 1 shot because things get pretty buttoned up by the end of the story. Fun, light, fast paced litrpg.

An 8hr audio book. I had such high hopes for this book, not to say it was bad, but I think the idea from the title and what could have happened, were way more interesting then how this story played out. Overall, this had fun and interesting characters, the RPG part was not original, but I still did enjoy this book.

This book is for the very young YA crowd. Anyone over the age of 12 should stay away. I'm sure young readers might find the book interesting so i will avoid any negative comments. You can read the reviews if necessary.

Getting drunk and having fun

I really liked this book. It is well written and funny. It showed the danger of relying on AI completely. I love the group of friends Aaron had, and it was interesting to find out who they really were.

Virtual reality

Some spelling errors and could use some editing? There's a lot of brews to remember? The switching point of view hard to keep up with. Sort of a satire.

Første bok på lenge jeg seriøst har vurdert å ikke fullføre... Konseptet til boka er interessant men ikke godt gjennomført/skrevet
