This book opens by looking at different bread makers and the various functuons of each. I think this is a crucial foundation for using a bread machine properly. Then we move into the recipes. I liked that there was such a mix of recipes. There were sweeter dessert breads like peach bread, which I have never heard of before, so that was neat. And there were plenty of more savory or sandwich type breads. Overall, I think this is a great bread book.
It is a fine book and does a decent job of talking about gluten free flours (at least a couple of them) at the beginning. I have found though, having used a bread machine, I let the machine do most of the work then I bake in the oven. Just a personal preference. But now that I am df and dairy free I don't use the machine much now.
