Having been pulled across time to aid heroes in the past while protecting a future yet to come, Zaneta finds her way back to the present-and the people responsible for stealing her children. The pursuit leads her north into Skyrim, where she, with help from the empire, is on the heels of the kidnappers, steadily nearing the end of her nightmare. In this spectacular conclusion, Zaneta covers the vast countryside with aid from an ancient dragon and mysterious strangers who, in the end, could help save the people she loves most.
And so ends Zaneta's adventure. I won't spoil it with details but this final volume gave readers everything Skyrim has to offer, including access to the three Elder Scrolls and of course, dragons. This final book was just as fast-paced as the two before it, with exceptional care paid to Skyrim's geography. The action was more detailed than in the previous books which was nice and gave it a more rounded read than the first two had. I still give this one 4 of 5 paws though. I feel it could have adventure been drawn out more. And unlike the other two books, this one's subtitle had nothing to do with a lost Mane. Anyone that knows Elder Scrolls lore knew from the first book that Zaneta was born a Mane; if her birth didn't make it clear, her abilities most certainly do. She wasn't a lost Mane, she was the Mane that never was. its still worth reading this trilogy even if you've never heard of Elder Scrolls, its a good addition to the fantasy genre.
