I’m a succubus with an eating disorder that has nothing to do with food. Every three days, I have to feed from a different lover.
I have three suitors that feed me. It’s an exclusive club of vampire, werewolf, and minotaur. First rule of Pia club is you don’t love Pia. Second rule of Pia club is you don’t let Pia love you. Why? Because unlike most of my race, I do have a heart. It’s fragile and broken, held together with duct tape, and healing with the help of my fiancé.
As an incubus, Valerio understands my needs and doesn’t have a jealous bone in his body except when it comes to Sin, my vampire suitor. My first suitor. I have been with him for years, longer than I’ve known Val.
Everything has been under control though until Sin breaks rule one and wants me to break rule two. It’s a forbidden love. Something that can destroy everything I’ve worked hard to build. How can I choose between two of the most powerful males in the city? The two most important ones in my life.
Jaymie Acosta loves adventure, loves reading, and loves making people laugh. At present, she lives in the isolated mountains of Vermont, but has called places like Florida, Hawaii, New York, and Canada as home.
Life is too short and she wants to experience it all.
After the books I need time to disconnect emotionally, I'm not made to read about open relationships, they mess up my head big time and I feel emotional pain during the whole time.
Book Review: Sated: Reverse Harem Romance (Boys of Lake City Book 4) Author: Jaymie Acosta My Rating: 5 Stars Reviewed by: Tammy - Book Nook Nuts
REVIEW This is my first read by this author and wow just wow. I have read many reverse harem stories but I love the twists and turns in this one. And if you love paranormal beings then it's even better. Pia is hard to sate but things have been manageable until one who feeds her wants more. Unlike many of her kind, Pia has a heart, and she was raised human for the most part so things don't always sit well with her. She does however love two and she shouldn't. I really need to read the previous books because this one I just loved. Yay for Pia!! Now I want a Val and Sin!!
This series is such a great read and I highly recommend. I was so glad the direction this latest book went and it cleared up a bunch of plots that I was interested in. Hoping for more in the series!
I have been waiting for awhile for this part of the adventure and so happy it didn't disappoint. Just hope it doesn't take long for the rest of the story! I love, love the characters and how they play off of each other. ❤
This is a unique RH because of the "biology " of the folk involved. I liked the way that played out in lgbt and feminist themes. And poly star relationships are more fun than straight RH in my view, but unexpected in the genre. More please!
I gave the first 2 books 5 stars...The only reason this one got 3 was because it had too much back story...not to much new storyline. Overall a very good series
