Compuesta por cinco naves y más de 200 tripulantes al mando del capitán portugués Fernando de Magallanes, parte del puerto de Sanlúcar de Barrameda para emprender un viaje hacia lo llegar a las islas de las Especias, las islas Molucas, navegando hacia el oeste. About the author

NATACHA SANZ CABALLERO (Onteniente, Valencia) holds a B.Sc. in Pharmacy and a Master of Business Administration, and has held positions in Research and Development and in Marketing at various pharmaceutical and healthcare multinationals in Spain, Switzerland and Canada.
She's resided in the United States since 1997, where she started her writing career.
Her first publications (in English) appeared in children's magazines like Highlights for Children and My Friend. Her stories have been published in various collections, including Celebrate the Season! and Family Matters, both by Pauline Books and Media.
She's a member of SCBWI (Society of Children Book Writers and Illustrators), who in 2007 granted her a Letter of Commendation by the Barbara Karlin Grant Committee for Childhood Poems, Poemas de Niñez, a bilingual collection of poems based on her childhood memories and experiences in her native Spain.
She writes mainly in Spanish currently, and her short stories have been published in a number of anthologies including La Mar y Sus Gentes or Recuerdos II, from publisher Letras con Arte.
Her writing and creative career also encompasses the blog Mama Ía, at www.natachasanzcaballero.com where, from her life experiences, she shares the recipes and culture of her native Spain, from her country of residence, the United States.

This is a great book, great story and very well organized. My only qualm was the difficulty of the language used - I wish the terminology was a bit simpler.
