I was given an advanced copy of Angel Tears in exchange for an honest review.
I'm a huge fan of Brianna West's book series, The Promiscus Guardians, so I was intrigued to read something different from her. Angel Tears was an absolute treat! Brianna has a very distinct style of writing, she likes strong, funny, quirky characters almost as much as her brooding, sexy protective ones, this always results in stories that leave you panting and smiling in equal measures!
Our main protagonists in Angel Tears are Ciara (Cici) and Cain, and it is quickly revealed that there is a vast age difference between them, with Cici being barely legal (in the USA) when their relationship starts, now, you might wonder why I mention that and it's a good question, the reason is that Cici is actually a much older soul, she knows what she wants and is not shy in voicing it, where as Cain is vastly more experienced but blushes and verbally stumbles over Cici's forwardness, its both funny and endearing.
The story has Angel's, Half Angel's, Demons, good verses evil, passion, secrets, comedy, surprises, there is literally something for every type of reader.
Cici is caught between her duty to her family and her destined fight against evil, where Cain is torn between protecting his soul mate and allowing her to blossom into the ass kicking demon exterminator that she is destined to become.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and hope that it's just the beginning of a new series, I would love to see the other Angels and Cici's siblings get their own stories.
Congratulations Brianna, your move into a slightly different area of PnR has definitely paid off in my opinion.

This is the first book in an all new world from this author, I hope there will be more books in this world. I have read previously released books by this author and was exited to get my hands on this one. I was NOT disappointed. The characters are great. There is suspense, some comic relief and some sexy times mixed in making this book all around a must read.

One word: Brilliant!!
Brianna West has never disappointed me with any of the books I’ve read of hers, she writes strong, independent female main characters and very sexy male main characters that will make you wish you were the female main character and make you drool! Angel tears is no different, Ciara (cici) is hard working teenager who lost her father and had a dead beat mother that is never there for her and her siblings. After one night during her lunch break, a very sexy male voice calls to her but there is nobody around. Cain on the other hand, the sexy golden Retriever Angel who comes to save her when demons attack. With his team they bring her and her siblings to safety, but not without flipping Cici’s world completely! Cici is not who she thought she was.
There is lots of funny banter between Cici, Cain and the rest of Cain’s team, Rey, Enris and Dias. But we can’t forget about the sweet love making that’s 100% worth the wait. My favourite part of this whole book, is how it was written, it was sweet and had a great plot, which I didn’t think I even needed till now!

What more can you want in a book right?
I received an ARC of Angel Tears, but loved it so much I bought it too. I absolutely love reading anything by Brianna West, she just has this brilliant flare for creating these great, sassy, snarky, strong heroines with an equally well written male lead. Loved the world building in this series and the way Brianna tackled issues around age and consent. Cici & Cain are the main characters of this story, and I really loved seeing their romance unfold. Cain is absolutely adorable how flustered he gets with CiCi! I also have to say, I really have a soft spot for Dias in this story, he is quite the character! This is a really great read - highly recommend!

Scandalous and oh so lovely
I fell in love, shamelessly like Sarah, with the men in this book. I’ve been reading the Promiscus Guardian series by Brianna West for quite some time now, and I can’t tell you how much I appreciate how she breaks through to her readers with characters that leap off the page time and time again. The story develops at a pace where you laugh, cry, blush and rage all along with the amazing protagonist. The rowdy cast of guardians who come, come to teach and protect but the heroine is not some damsel in distress or pouty princess (nothing wrong with the loveys who are). I enjoy the give and take between the characters and they’re intriguing dynamic. Read for this book does not disappoint.

I love a good angel/demon book whether it be thriller, mystery or romance and this for me has a bit of all three!!
The main characters are easy to love and each have their own quirks and fair share of trauma. Cara being a young girl who had to grow up way too fast and Cain being an encouraging protector. I really enjoyed the humour from the supporting characters of Rey, Enris and Dias. I’d love to hear their stories be told, as well as Joey, Milo and Summer’s
The demons in my opinion were fairly tame and could have been much darker but this didn’t detract from the story itself in any way.
I’d fully recommend to anyone who likes angel/demon novels and it would be a great first foray for anyone who hasn’t read this type of book before.

I never say no to a Brianna West ARC. So much so, I even preordered a copy before getting an ARC. West is known for her Promiscus Guardians world, so when I heard that Angel Tears was a different series and it’s own world, I just had to read it.
There’s still the strong theme of angels and demons, light and dark that she does best. West’s strong point is her world building without a doubt. Once again, she has set the foundations for a great group of paranormal characters, and her MC is a strong eighteen year old who can kick ass and bag herself a hunk.

This is the first book I've read from this author and I really liked it! It was an emotional rollercoaster (something I love in a book) and it had many things to enjoy - magic, angels/demons, romance, spice, banter.
Ciara's world was turned upside down one day, and things were never the same again. She was brought into a world she didn't know existed, and learned some hard truths about her life and what was expected of her going forward, in order to keep herself and those she loved safe.
There were some little twists - though I did predict one. The supporting characters were fun. I enjoyed the dynamic between the guys - serious when necessary, but fun and ridiculous at times too.
I look forward to reading more from this author. This was an enjoyable read!

I just finished this, and I was asked for a honest review. I am a big fan of Brianna West’s series of paranormal romance books.
This books FMC is Cici a hardworking teenager, or is she? She finds out she’s half angel and joins a team of angels in exorcising demons. Torn between being a normal girl and a half angel exorcist she finds love in Cain, her angel “protector” and mentor.

Loved loved loved!! I couldn’t stop myself once I got going. The storyline is great and not only are the MFC and FMC amazing, but the rest of the characters as well!!! The bantering back and forth just made it hilarious at times and made it hard to wait for the next scene with everybody in it. Would 10/10 read again in a heartbeat for all the feels I got while reading this! 💕

I thoroughly enjoyed the book 📖.
It was sexy at times and the tension was 🌶️🥵.
But the story was really well developed and enjoyed reading until the end. You gotta check this author out if you like smutt and fantasy/paranormal vibes.
