The Redeemable: The Complete Novel

Rate this book
Arcadia’s dying. But that’s okay.

She was prepared to spend her last years alone, working boring temp jobs and eating cereal straight out of the box, until the inevitable moment that her heart finally gave out. That way, she wouldn’t cause anyone any unnecessary grief, and that was noble, right?

But a chance meeting on the subway changes everything. Now she's living with not one guy, but seven intriguing men who are all as sexy as, well… sin. But she'll soon discover that there is more to the guys than their attractive appearance and their disconcerting willingness to take care of a complete stranger.

They are the embodiment of a Seven Deadly Sins, pawns in an ancient bet, and apparently so was Arcadia, who was meant to be some kind of savior.

They chose the wrong girl. Death was knocking at her door, and so was the Devil.

When I was nine, my grandmother and her friends used to read and swap Harlequin Mills and Boons novels. When I was busted reading one, they started sneaking me boxes full of strong heroines and rugged men. Thus started a long love affair with the romance genre.

Then I discovered urban fantasy, and fell in love with broody Alphas and sexy paranormals, and combining them together was a no brainer.

Then I discovered Reverse Harem.... Oh my. Why choose, am I right?

3.5 ⭐️Good writing, good characters 🤷‍♀️

Could have been more.

I love this author. On the occasions when she lets her humour out, I actually laugh, the characters snark and decency make most utterly loveable, and the plots are interesting and hold enough unique ideas to overlook some plot holes.

However, there is one fatal flaw that more often prevents me giving a higher rating. She continuously falls into the tell, not show habit.

In this book in particular, the majority of what we got was a heap of smut, and some occasional do-gooder scenes.
All of the plot details were delivered fate accompli.
As for world building, it was brushed over in large parts, and on occasion contradicted.

We are presented with this FMC as if she is the equivalent of a saint. For the most part, she is simply a decent person. Nothing extraordinary, nothin above average, or even noteworthy.
If not for her magic vagina, not sure what she brings to the table?
Her redemption ideas are nothing that they couldn’t have come up with on their own, or any other could have suggested.
If the guys hadn’t felt the irresistible magic pull and need to make her happy, there was nothing to seperate her from the millions of other truly decent people in the world.

Her acceptance of them as supernaturals is also brushed over, with no proof necessary. While I get her jumping in with both feet due to her time limit, that doesn’t explain her belief in the supernatural on their say so?

This was an awesome idea, that could have been so much more, but all the details that would have fleshed it out and sucked me in, where skipped over with one or two sentences.

I’m not a fan of LKH’s work outside of her first few books, but she could write scenery and seperate people.
She often included crowds of characters, but for the most part, you could tell each apart. She fleshed them out with visuals, not just ideas. This enabled us to ‘see’ them, until we got to know them by voice.

Here, I was struggling to place sin with names, and remember descriptions or occupations. We never really got to ‘see’ them, beyond the generic ‘hot’, ‘sexy’, or ‘pretty’ tags
I was eventually able to distinguish a few of them, but never all.
Also, their voices [apart for 2-3] never fully became their own.
We needed more time, more detail, more story beyond the sex and the sap.

There was whole sections of OTT sappy, that could have been cut, for more detailed scenes of living, planning, or the actual plot 😂🥱

She needs to be willing to spend some time on the building blocks to make her worlds more real, more tangible to the readers.

This was not a fav for me, but to be fair, it never was going to be.
I’m not a fan of organised religion in my books.
If I had know prior, I would have skipped this. While it’s far from preachy or even particularly accurate, and does include some very interesting ideas, it’s still not something that truly grabs me.

I won’t be continuing, but not for lack of a decent story that’s is still very easy to read. But rather, it’s just not my taste, and I found myself bored with the high drama [she’s dying for 3/4], and the meandering plot.
The solution and climatic scene were easy to decipher and see coming, but it was still emotional and [very briefly] upsetting.
We got our HEA way too easily, but truthfully I was glad, was kinda over the whole when, when drama at that point. 😬🥸

This was a solid read. Not my favorite of this author’s, but it was an intriguing storyline.

I thought the characters were interesting, but they didn’t get enough time. I felt like everything moved so fast, and it was very instalove, and I would’ve liked it more if it had been a bit more drawn out. I thought all three books in this series would be for these characters, but the second and third books are for two different FMCS introduced here.

I appreciated Ace and Luc but I wasn’t invested in their story enough to read from her POV for the last half. I feel like Arcadia and her guys didn’t get their full ending.

It was still solid and I liked how the guys were redeemed, even if most of the effort seemed focused on two of them.

This book has some weird anti choice vibes and several insulting passages tearing down women. I hope that was just an unintentional thing because I love the Dark River Days series.

Crowded Cast, Complicated Start

I read a later book in this series and, realizing there were previous ones, went back to start with the first.

Honestly, if I’d started here, I might not have continued. It was muddled with too many characters—understandable given the premise, but still overwhelming.

That said, the character dynamics were strong, and since I enjoyed the other book, I’ll push through the next ones, even if they take some time.

DNF at 65% but honestly it should have been at 50%. I enjoy Grace McGinty usually so this was a surprise.

The FMC is awful, I can't stand to be inside her selfish and boring little head any longer. She's even selfish in bed, she just lies there like a loaf of bread and I'm supposed to believe these men think she's incredible?
This book had such a great concept but it wasn't executed as well as I was expecting from this author. I could overlook the obvious fact that the Sins are lacking any common sense, ten years to redeem yourselves and not once do you think, 'yo, maybe we should do the opposite of our sin?'. One of them is a neurosurgeon and he didn't figure it out?
I cannot get over the main character being either 2 or 3 weeks or even 3 days pregnant and deciding to continue with the pregnancy even though it will not only kill her but potentially damn the 7 men she loves, the fallen angel she loves and remove the opportunity for any soul ever to be redeemed and avoid an eternity of torment. Then all she does is keep talking about what's going to happen with her baby once she is dead. Super selfish behaviour, to bring a child into the overpopulated world that will grow up with the knowledge that it essentially killed its parent.

The biggest tragedy of this is that Cady didn't get hit by that train on page 3.

I read this book as part of the Hell's Redemption boxed set, but I need to put the review here so I don't forget it.

I read Manix and Frenzy by this author and enjoyed them, so now all her backlist is on my TBR. And I liked this book; I thought it was an interesting concept. However, I also thought that it was a bit... flat in some ways. The way that each guy got "redeemed" from his sin felt very mundane and a bit too easy. You'd think they'd have to do something big, or make some serious sacrifice, but it all seemed rather anti-climactic.

In fact, what they did to end up being the embodiment of a specific sin (gluttony, pride, envy, greed, sloth, wrath, and lust) also did not seem all that bad. For example, Lux, who was Wrath, used to be a soldier. But if he'd killed as part of his job, that hardly seemed bad enough to cause him to become Wrath. It was the same with most of the other guys -- relatively minor incidents in the wider scheme of things that I didn't think were significant enough to curse anyone to become the embodiment of that particular sin.

I did, however, like that they were all attracted to Cady, or Arcadia, immediately, and cared for her not just because she would be the one to help redeem them, but also for her own sake. I liked how hot they were for her, too, but I wasn't sure how to feel about the sex because of Arcadia's heart condition. On one hand, the guys were worried about how the physical exertion would affect her weak heart, but on the other hand, they tended to forget about her heart whenever they got close to her and got horny. Although she sees doctors, never once did any doctor give her advice about sexual activity, which I thought was odd, because that would have alleviated the men's worry.

The addition of Ace, the voice in Cady's head, was interesting and added another layer to the whole situation. But Clary, Arcadia's best friend, seemed superfluous in this story. She doesn't really do anything or contribute to the story in any significant way. Plus, her name caused me a bit of confusion: Everyone calls Arcadia 'Cady', and the name Clary was just too close. More confusion was caused by Lux, one of the guys, and Luc, a.k.a Lucifer or the Devil.

Many things are skimmed over in this book: we never find out the full names of any of the men. We don't find out exactly how the Devil set them up on earth when he sent them back here to be redeemed, and since some of the men lived as far back as the 1700s, how did they pick up modern technology and the know-how to suddenly become a top neurosurgeon, an award-winning chef, a cut-throat businessman who flips companies, and so on? Since they're famous as individuals, they'd need to have some backstory, as the paparazzi would have dug into their backgrounds. How did Lucifer set all that up?

We know they've been waiting ten years for their Redeemer to appear. Why did it take so long? And, Arcadia's parents were supposedly wealthy, yet when we meet her, she's three months behind on her rent and hardly managing financially. Of course she could have spent all the money on her medical treatments -- her parents died when she was 16, and she's now 20. But she doesn't say so, and it's not addressed in the story. Her parents would have had financial advisors; why didn't Arcadia have any help managing her inheritance? I just have so. Many. Questions.

The editing in this book was disappointing and seemed to not be up to Ms McGinty's usual standards: I counted about 66 errors. There were not so many that they took me out of the story, but they occurred frequently enough to be a mild annoyance. In one or two cases it was the misuse of punctuation (the psych's said, chicken mignon's piled high on a serving plate, and so on), in other cases misspelling or the use of a wrong word (I wouldn't jeopardize you safety, when the fire hit... their apartment when up very quickly, You guys have fune, etc.).

I have a feeling that this was one of Ms McGinty's earlier works. I did still enjoy it, but it was not a four-star read for me because it just did not have enough details nor flesh out things enough for me to immerse me in the story. The whole point of this book was for Arcadia to redeem the men, yet her heart condition and the situation with Ace seemed to take centerstage, pushing the redemption issue into the background. The way that each is redeemed was hardly acknowledged at all and so subtle that it felt too simple.

I truly loved books 1 and 2, book 3 was okay, and book 4 was my least favorite of the bunch (which stinks bc that's when you get your fill ...and I have to admit I felt thoroughly unfulfilled in the end).

Below I have pasted partial reviews from my full reviews of each book in hopes to give you the best perspective on the series as a whole, followed by an overall rating in place of the individual ratings I gave each book (to see those, you'll have to look at my reviews from each book).

The Redeemable Part 1
Wow. For such a short book, the author really packed a lot in!

General Gist: Cady (Arcadia) meets 7 guys, and it's pretty much instant attraction/lust/love with each of them in different ways. They dote on her constantly, and are prepared to shower her with the unimaginable, in return for her help of course.

There are a lot of little scenes that flow incredibly naturally from one to the next, and I'm kind of happy for the no none-sense style that Grace McGinty has taken with her story telling here.

The Redeemable Part 2
Jaw dropping!!! Literally, I ended the book with my mouth hanging open. What. An. Ending!

General Gist: Here, Cady's illness becomes a larger issue...annnnnd we really find out why she's so sick. The gang continues their journey for redemption and we slowly find out more about their past as well. Lots of steamy hot moments, as well as swoony lovey-dovey moments to be had here.

The Redeemable Part 3
Holy Moly! These books keep getting more and more interesting. While due to Cady's situation, there isn't much steam in this book (other than some kisses), there's still a lot of love, lots of twists and turns, and even tears in the end. Oh boy!

The Redeemable Part 4
Hmmm, NOT at all how I expected the last book to go. I knew there would be some craziness, but I personally was not as pleased as the other three books made me.

First thing to note: this last book is from Ace's POV, NOT Cady's. Which I found a little off-putting if I'm being honest. I think a dual POV would've been better, but alas,

Secondly: There's barely any steam-factor in this book (okay okay I'm lying, there is, but it's very nonchalant in my opinion, despite how steamy it actually is. Everything else just eclipses it in seriousness).

Lastly: I wasn't a fan of the ending. The second to last chapter seems like an epilogue unto itself, and then the actual epilogue was 22 years later and mainly used as an intro for the spinoff series. Meh, not a fan. I was hoping for some more time with Cady and the guys. Semi-spoiler alert:

Overall Rating
--Rating - 4 stars - Intriguing story, lots of twists and turns, but also tears in the later two books. And typos or grammatical errors throughout.
--Steam - 4 stars - Book 1-2 contain the best steamy scenes and the most steamy scenes. In book 3 it's almost nonexistent, and in book 4 it's there, but sparse.
--Storyline - 5 stars - very unique!
--Plot Twists - 4 stars - book 1-2 (yet again the shining stars here) are packed full of twists and turns that will keep you enthralled in the story, but book 4 was just 'meh'.
--Emotional Pull - 3 stars - Book 1-2 won't tear you up, but be prepared to cry in books 3-4.
--Writing - 5 stars - very comfortable to read and the story flows very naturally.
--Denouement - 3 stars - After completing the series, I felt unfulfilled. Like, the author didn't really give me all the answers, but also completely left out key moments in the relationships between Cady and her men.
--Cliffhanger? - No, but kind of. It ends basically by introducing the next series which is a spinoff.
--HEA? - Yeah

*I'd like to note: Depending on the time that you're reading this series, it may or may not be free for Kindle Unlimited readers. For me, it's been on my "pay-to-read" list for months, and during a routine check for sales I found that the series was free BUT ONLY is you downloaded the books individually. If you wanted to read the collection/series as one, you had to buy it.

I read this as the complete novel (it was first released as four installments), after first reading four books the author released in 2022. The Redeemable: The Complete Novel was released in 2018, likely after the serial had been released in 2017. This was the earliest writing I found for Ms. McGinty on Amazon.

I like reading early books by writers I enjoy because it can give insight in how they have grown as an author. In Ms. McGinty's case, you see her building blocks - her gifts and what she does well in The Redeemable, and the cracks she later learns to fill and smooth over as her writing continues in her later works like the Shadow Bred series.

For the reserve harem genre, The Redeemable is good, slightly above average. A worthy read in it's own right if you like the genre, but it is still an early book as an author masters her craft. You might even be disappointed if you pick it up because of her later works and judge it on that level. Basically the four year difference is like judging a high schooler on their middle school efforts.

What is good - strong plot, lot of sexy big men for the reverse harem who have distinct personalities, a female character worthy of the men - not a shrinking violet - and her weaknesses aren't cringy. What is a weakness - seven men is a LOT to juggle and create strong relationships between the MC and each male separately. A little too much god-in-the-machine moments. The format of the four-part serial release creating jumps in plotlines and story focus. Complete switch to a different POV for the last part of the serial release.

And seeing the glaring issues with her early work lets me see those weaknesses in her later work ... four years actually isn't that long working toward mastering a new skill. Ms. McGinty cuts back on the number of men in later works and makes sure all the men have time to develop strong relationships with the reverse harem central character and with the readers. The jump in that skill improvement is the strongest of the lot. Breaking the story into multiple parts to work on ... and having the jump in story focus still needs more smoothing out. Ms. McGinty has gotten better, but not yet mastered that skill. I know lots of writers who do the serial method of writing, and it could be that her life is best set up for chunks of writing of 100 pages or 25-30K at a time.

The deus ex machina, though, still very rough. Ms. McGinty is very good at creating a huge problem for the characters, one which you think there is no way out. And instead of having the characters solve them, a far stronger side character comes in and miraculously saves the day. In this particular book, having deities and messengers of deities as some of the characters make it really easy to pull a deus ex machina (god in the machine) move. Not a huge issue since this book is primarily a reverse harem erotica-romance. Romances are to have happy endings, and that is achieved.

Overall a good book. Not her best book ... but then it is a first book, one would hope Ms. McGinty only gets better in time ... and she has so far.

Write away Ms. McGinty. I look forward to more.

RATINGS
Overall: 2.4/5
Characters: 3/5
Plot: 4/5
Chemistry: 1.5/5
Spice: 3/5
Pacing: 1/5

MAIN CHARACTERS -
1. Arcadia/Cady, Lux, Oz, Orion/Ri, Sam, Tolliver, Valery & Eli
2. Ace & Luc

SYNOPSIS - A young woman with a fatal prognosis has a chance/fate meeting with 7 undead men who are the embodiment of their greatest sins when they were still alive. They tell her that God and Lucifer have a bet going as to whether they can redeem themselves but point out that they need her help as her given role is "the Redeemer". (Very) quickly they establish intense feelings for each other but race the clock to absolve themselves of their sinful natures before she runs out of time.

REVIEW - I'm just gonna say it... my biggest issue and why I could not rate it any higher was the pacing. Insta-love can be done right. This wasn't it. Their affections for each other from the moment they meet is clearly affected by their roles to each other and, while they could have grown authentic feelings with time, we don't really see that happen. Everything is so rushed but stretched out in all the wrong places.

Second biggest issue? Their redemption arcs if you even want to call it that. These men lived sinful lives. Granted some were worse than others, but they all did things that warranted an afterlife in hell. By the time Cady meets them, they're already repentive and remorseful. It's even mentioned that her introduction to them may never have even been warranted as they were on the right path (short of the invisible time limit). I think Cady's role in their lives made them do things against their nature but the motive behind it really was to just make her happy and not for the sake of doing the right thing. There's a few times where an ethical dilemma comes up and they're fine with taking the "wrong" path until she chimes in like "nah". So, are they really redeemed? Have they changed or are they so infatuated with her that it's become some kind of twisted idolization?

Last issue I'll touch on is that we introduce a lot of characters and there are books that follow so I can assume we get to build on those but this books' MCs don't really get the proper time of day. They don't get a lot of depth. They don't really grow or mature. Eli may be the only character that was truly given a proper redemption when he These themes had the potential to be heavy but were instead half-assed. Ace maybe got some shine since she pulls us through the final chapters but, even there, she's not really changing much.

I don't know, man. The premise of having the 7 sins personified and in need of redeeming themselves before the clock runs out is awesome. The manner in which it played out... not so much.

WOULD I RECOMMEND - Nope.

Parts 1 and 2 were great if not a bit cheesy. I was really into the story and loving all the characters, except for Oz... Which leads me to the bad part.

I really didn't like parts 3 and 4; pregnancy is my least favourite trope and seeing as Cady mentioned she couldn't have children because of the cancer, I didn't think it'd be an issue. Wrong.

I stuck with the story though, hoping that Oz wouldn't be the father. And when it was revealed she was having twins, I had even more hope that at least one wasn't his. Wrong again.

Both twins are his? Ugh. Poor kids.

Though I realise the whole pregnancy thing was a setup for the next two books in the series, it just kinda really sucked. Also, though I did enjoy Ace's POV, I really did miss Cady's at the end.

Honestly, this story could've worked as a standalone without the pregnancy. Eli's redemption could've still happened the same way. Some of the book felt rushed and some characters really didn't get their time to shine (especially Val, which was a shame), so without the pregnancy plot, those relationships could've been more built upon.

There were also a number of grammatical errors throughout, enough that I noticed and occasionally was pulled out of the story.

So, yeah, the story started out great - some indulgent fun - but turned into a big disappointment. I'm unsure if I'll read the sequels...

Big fan of her Dark River days series but this was all a little too fragmented; too many characters and not enough focus for them to shine individually. Even by the end of book 4, we still haven't gotten to know some of them well beyond the surface and i think the author was just juggling too many characters. IMO, this book would have been better served if the men were pared down to just 3.

That said, despite the first book actually reading like much of an extended prologue, i will at least be reading the 2nd before deciding if i will pick up the third.

This was pretty cheesy. I guess that's my main impression upon finishing.

I really liked the concept in the first serial, but then it all got a little too like one of those cheesy made for TV kind of romance films. I can't give specifics without giving spoilers, but I think there was a pretty solid list of clichés.

It's a shame, really, as there was lots of good to it, but I think at the end of the day it's just not my cup of tea. Too insta-love, too little plot outside of the relationship stuff, very little characterisation or character development for the guys, despite the whole premise of them needing to be redeemed. It almost fell like each serial needed to be it's only properly fleshed out plot, with an over arching story with the men getting redeemed, and their relationship with Arcadia growing as they did so.

It's got lots of good reviews, so if you're in the mood for some pretty well.written romance, then go for it, but I guess I was just after a little something more.

Enjoyable Story of Redemption

Arcadia (Cady) has been an orphan since she was 16. She first got cancer when she was 12. No one would take her in so got emancipated, got cancer again and when she recovered from that her heart gave out on her. She’s alone and dying in New York City doing temp jobs to pay the rent, when she meets someone who wants to look after her, put her up in their pool house and pay all her bills. In fact it’s not just one someone, but 7 and they are all hot! However, they are also men who embody the seven deadly sins and have been returned to earth after years of torture in hell to gain their redemption, though Cady. It would probably sound more nuts if it weren’t for the voice she’s had inside her head most of her life.

I really like this writer as she has a very witty way of describing internal thoughts. I nearly always have a wry smile on my face as I read her books. I loved all the characters, even the ones with the very dodgy pasts. They all care for Cady so much and really want to be redeemed so they can stay with her. They truly treasure her and look after her so well.

Cady is funny and sweet and genuinely good, but won’t put up with people hurting or disrespecting her loved ones. She stands up for what she believes is right. She jumps into her situation with bravery, because, as she puts it, she won’t have to live with the consequences very long if it’s all a mistake.

I love this series and read the books individually a while ago. When I saw the box set, I decided to invest so I can re-read it. It’s a fun and filthy book with tonnes of heart and funny one liners. I enjoyed it more as a box set because it flowed better reading it in one sitting, rather than reading, returning and downloading the next one.

I’m definitely going to download the next box set in this continuing set of series.

Loved the Book But Hated The POV Switch the Last Book

I really enjoyed the book overall. But I didn’t enjoy the point of you switch that happened at the last part. I loved it but I felt like she should’ve had her own book instead of being added to the story when I wanted the main characters point of view. All the action happened at the last part and so I felt jolted out of the emotions that came with the characters and what was happening.
The author was great! I enjoyed her writing overall and I will be reading more of her books I just feel like it was not a great writing choice to focus on aces character over everyone else’s. Sad it ended so quickly wish it was longer.
Enjoyed all the men in spice!

MC was robbed of her story..

So story starts off pretty good. An okay start.. I didn’t like how she wakes up in a house full of strange men and decides sure I’ll move in! Lol but I stuck with it.. I’d probably do the same! I didn’t feel a connection with the guys and herself it felt like the author couldn’t juggle everything going on, and all the different characters coming into the plot. Then the final part of the book happens and I am totally put off by what’s happening, I lost interest with the story. I felt the MC was cheated out of her story, it felt highjacked. I unfortunately will not continue with the next book in the series.

Really good!

I discovered Grace McGinty just the other day with Manix and decided to start at the RH beginning of her career because I was impressed with her writing, character growth, and plot. I wasn’t disappointed with this one and will definitely be doing a through read through of her back matter!

Seven guys are a lot to handle and I felt I still got a good read on each of them. No M/M though which I’m always secretly hoping for, though it’s not a total takeaway.

I will say I am worried about Memphis’ fate… thinking it will just be a little weird if it’s what I think it is. And I’m usually good with the foreshadowing.

New Take on The Seven Deadly Sins

I will admit I started with a later series and now I am backtracking to the beginning. This is the first book in a connected series of books. At first I had a problem keeping track of who’s who, but by the 3rd book I had it all down pat. These books sure make you think about the preconceived notions you have about heaven and hell, Lucifer and the angels. I have been gluing through them. While the first book at 2 POVs the second and third book only had 1. I would have loved to read these books from all POVs. Definitely a RH, but spice level is medium burn. I’m onto the next series in this world!

Love Grace Mcginty's Writing and am always more than keen to read her words and this series is no different.
Cady was orphaned young and unfortunately has more struggles to face. She has a chance encounter with some strapping young men but she has a moment and ends up back at their place where those two straping young men turn into 7 strapping young men and the Devil.. oh and a little hitchhiker to boot.
This story is fantastic and not what i was expecting I cannot wait to Start on the next book to see where this world takes me.

I loved dark river days and the prequel novels to Eden. But this one fell short for me. I had a hard time connecting with the MC. We were just thrust into a world with seven guys who already had a friendship and she just added herself to it. Then the pregnancy trope hit like a bang and any hope I had for the MC went up in smoke because she became this dying shell of herself and it meant the rest of the story was her laying around being taken cared of I read this one so that I had all the background for Eden but it wasn’t my favorite.

This book kinda reminded me of the plot of Breaking Dawn Part 1. You got the honeymoon stuff (minus the marriage), pregnancy, and all the depressing stuff afterward. It was very slow and drawn out. Not a lot of action, I was a little bored. She was trying to redeem the embodiments of the seven sins, but then got pregnant and everything fixed itself later. Ugh..this kinda put me off from picking up the other books, but we shall see if I ever pick those up.

This book (series) didn't quite capture my imagination the way the Dark River or the Shadow Bred series did. I only read it because I wanted to read the books about Eden, and I realized all these characters would be referenced.
Once again I appreciate McGinty's ability to create a FMC that has depth and and lovability.
I am sure to read more of McGinty's work, although I'm not sure which novel I'll read next, and will probably save it for a few weeks.

Sins

Apparently I already owned these books
Different cover and all that
So I did read them again
And I loved every minute....again
I knew they would be good because this author is. just that good lol
And even though I already had the joy of reading it...I enjoyed it again

Love her books
Love her characters
The world's she creates
Justly either all

So off course....Recommended big time

I’m not sure what to rate this book. It did a really good job of pulling emotions from me. However, I still feel like there was something missing. There were a lot of twists, and turns that I didn’t anticipate, and that was really enjoyable. But I also think the romance aspect was a bit limited despite her falling in love with seven men lol. The other events of the book overshadowed the romance, which I didn’t like.

Prepare to Cry

This book was so uniquely done.

Cady and Ace, our two FMCs of this book. Yep that’s right, two FMCs. Parts 1-3 have Cady as the main POV, and part 4 is done in Ace’s POV

This book was absolutely heartbreaking and I just really don’t know how the HEA was going to come (don’t worry, there is a HEA)

The plot was fantastic, and while there is (delicious) spice, the (seriously delicious) spice doesn’t overshadow the plot.

Great story

This was a great story involving fallen angels, archangels, and the seven deadly sins. It was creative and unique and I enjoyed watching the story unfold. I really enjoyed Ace as a character and her eventual storyline told through her point of view. The editing was not great. Several typos and omitted words which annoys me as a reader.

This book really pulled me in from the beginning. My heart ached for the FMC and her situation. Enter 7 sinfully hot men and we get a story about finding love connections and a family even when you feel like everything is against you. I was even more excited to find out that the following books expand on their family and others in this world.

Book 1

This book was incredibly well written and thought out, had heat and steam but with a storyline to match. I actually bought this book because I like the writing style of the author and it wasn’t offered as Kindle Unlimited. Top 20 of the best books I’ve read this year (I say this because I’ve read close to 200).

Book Review

WOW!! What a book! The story is a brilliant take on the 7 deadly sins, and it's certainly different! It's also heartbreak at times, and sometimes, all you want to do is cry for the fmc, and her men! Grace Mcginty you truly are an amazing author, and I can't wait to read more of your books!

I loved the concept of the seven sins. Not the biggest fan, that a big part of the book is suddenly written from Ace's POV.
Midly annoying for me where some missing words or grammar errors (since I am not a native speaker I always assume I made the mistake while reading and then reread the sentence multiple times till I figure out it's a mistake grammar wise and not my poor language skills).
