I thought that this book would be good after reading the brief synopsis. I was disappointed. The female lead always shut down when something went wrong. At 37 years of age with a job as a human resources manager I expected that she would handle problems differently--not run away and seek to be distracted by a man she regarded as a friend when she knew he had a crush on her. The storyline had potential, however, I don't think was realized. I was disappointed with the female character.
Naming errors, age errors, plot isn’t bad, but screamed for proofreading
The author mixed up the company name, it changed from ADssurance to Caesars (which was the name of the restaurant the heroine ate at with her besties); the author described the hero’s son as 10 years old, but he was treated like a 4 year old; the author confused the name of the ex-wife with the current girlfriend; and the wedding happened when???? Because she went from being drunk and married, to one month pregnant, to a huge family celebration, which takes planning even if you are rich. Then, fast forward to the epilogue which is 8 months later and delivering a baby girl.
Please pay for a good proofreader and editor, the storylines are decent, but the grammatical, timeline, and naming errors are very off putting.
First off, I didn't feel sorry for Tatiyana at all. Her old behind got mad a Jeremy for some crap his parents did years ago. I could see it if she was 18 and the problem was new. Jeremy should have left her childish behind and found him a real woman. Of course she would get pregnant. You told us the first time they f#cked, especially when he asked "were they going to use condoms" as she said no. When was this book written, in 1937? He didn't go in the delivery room with her, he was pacing the hall. Serves me right, I need to read some intelligent books. If this author is a teenager, then keep trying.
They met at an elevator when they bumped into each other. Neither could forget the other. Jeremy Samsung was a billionaire CEO looking to acquire a new company her company was vested in. Tatiyana Judd was the HR Manager. He was divorced with a ten year old son, yet their interest in each other caused them to secretly get married with borrowed ring from an elderly couple in a café. An old encounter between their parents appears to put a wedge between them, but love ❤️ prevails!🦋
I honestly made it to 75%. I told myself I would finish because the book was short. The storyline was good, but I couldn’t finish. The main female character seemed to be smart, succesful, and nice. That was cool but anytime a problem arose she didn’t talk to him. Like you’re almost 40, you can’t communicate issues and/or your feelings to your partner. That just turned me off from the book completely. I really wanted to like this book. Like I said the storyline was good, but I couldn’t get pass the main female.
This was a good book but I gave it 4 stars because with Jeremy’s ex wife, Katrina, threatening Tatyana the way she did, I thought that when she found out they were married and pregnant that she would have tried something, Wes was a good friend and called Jeremy to tell him Tatyana was pregnant. Everything got cleared up with the parents who now seem to be friends.
The book started out promisingly. The couple met by accident and then by design. Jeremy was always honest and thoughtful. Tatiyana appeared to be settled and mature at 37 yet she let people and old situations almost derail their relationship. Jeremy, handsome, kind billionaire deserved better.
This could have been a great moving story, however the author missed the mark by a country mile. The characters were off in a few ways. The timeline was inconsistent, the friendships were inconsistent, the characters were inconsistent... I did finished the book hoping it would get better but it didn't.
I rated this book two stars because there were many mistakes in the book as well as the plot being choppy and horribly put together. There was no clear and concise switch from the hero or the heroine when they spoke and it always ended in the middle of a conversation.
Please for the love of readers everywhere hire an editor! The enjoyment of a book diminishes when the author can’t get the names of the main characters correct, can’t segue properly and the book is loaded with terrible syntax and typos! I stopped reading after awhile…it was hard to read in a natural flowing way!
There were many errors in this book. The two main female characters (Tatiyana and Katrina) were mixed up a couple of times which made it confusing to read. There were also a few times where the pronouns between Tatiyana and Jeremy were mixed up as well. Proofreading more carefully could have avoided those errors. Otherwise, it was a good story.
And old feud almost prevented Tatiana and Jeremy from having a happier ever after. It took some brainstorming and an act of forgiveness to mend their broken heart.....
WOW this will keep you turning the pages it's fascinating with unforgettable characters that have instantaneously chemistry . There is drama and plenty of emotions that is so entertaining.
Tatiana was way too extra for my liking. She turned me completely off. The book got what I felt, was rushed toward the end. And last but not least, what language or country were they supposed to be from? Cause some of the phrases they used made no sense to me at all
Tatiayana was not realistic at all. It got on my last nerve how Jeremy and Nick kept calling each other “man.” One star is being generous even for this type of fiction.
This book could have been so much better. It needs severe editing which was extremely annoying. The characters were not really likable and appeared weak. Not a fan of this author.
I just found to many mistakes. Names were switched around. He when it should’ve she etc. But it had a great storyline. I just wonder who proofread her stuff.
Several name & spelling errors. The main female character was a little immature for a 37 y/o. I was very disappointed with how she handled situations. The story left me with unanswered questions.
