A story about how Persephone and Hades REALLY met…
The seasons aren't cooperating, and Hecate's rosemary supply is dwindling. She needs a solution for growing her crops or her spells just won't be the same. Hermes is willing to help but it comes with a price, the least of which is the two of them dabbling in the love life of Hades, the God of the Underworld.
In addition to setting Hades up on a blind date, Hermes demands Hecate spend 24 hours alone with him. That isn't what concerns her the most since she has added stipulations of her own. But the trickster has made it clear that he won't settle for anything less than her heart. Is Hecate ready to pay the price?

Careers for D.A. Henneman have run the gamut between Customer Service and Floral Design, but creativity has always been at the core of everything she does. During a girl's weekend at an undisclosed location, an idea for a series about 4 women with Elemental Powers was born. Infused with Fantasy, Romance, and the occasional Werewolf, her stories take the reader on a magical journey where things aren't always as they seem.
I really enjoyed this, I’ve never had a big understanding of Greek mythology but I’ve always had an interest in it. This was a lovely start to pique my interest, I can’t wait to read more things like this.
What a sweet and original double love story! Not everyone can write an engaging and satisfying short story, but this author does so perfectly. If you enjoy open door romance, believable and likable characters and of course, Greek Mythology, I would highly recommend this story.
Love For All Seasons is the first in the Goddess In Love series.
This reads like a bonus chapter to something. The stakes are incredibly low, or made to seem that way by every issue being fixed the second it comes up. I have never been so indifferent about a Hades and Persephone story but this was a third person witnessing their incredibly fast romance (it happened within like two or three days) and I suppose I had just expected any sort of obstacle or conflict to stick for more than a page, but it didn't. It really reminded me of bonus chapters from light novels in the sense that it seemed like Hades and Persephone were having their own small get together thing while something much more important was happening to other characters. Or maybe a point of view switch that made it seem all less dramatic than it could have been. Anyway, I found myself rather indifferent to this story and bored at times by the lack or weakness of the obstacles.
I had some issues with the terminology used. If you're setting a tale in ancient Greece with Titans and Gods, perhaps don't use Samhain as an upcoming holiday, since it wasn't from that part of the world or culture? It would be one thing if Rhiannon rode up and visited, but this is purely set in one mythos. Not all pagan religions are the same... If looking for ancient Greek holidays around of time of Samhain, Thesmophoria fell somewhere around that time of year and was specific to Demeter and Persephone. Other minor disappointments were that Hekate didn't have any dogs, and rosemary isn't one of the herbs sacred to her... garlic, lavender, mandrake, or aconite would have been more fitting.
✨️ my thoughts ✨️ Another greek mythology book, count me in!! This book is actually two love stories in one short story! I enjoyed seeing Hecate and Hermes' love story grow as they set up Persephone and Hades. Hermes always seems to say the right thing and is such a charmer. There's lots of parts that make you go aww and woowww...🫢😍🥹

✨️ I found this book on the stuff your kindle day. ✨️
I am still on my Greek retellings kick, and this one was both about Hades and Persephone’s relationship and Hecate and Hermes. I am not super familiar with Hecate’s story, so it was great to see it told through the lens of her trying to help other people connect while unexpectedly falling herself. The relationship between Hades and Persephone had a different tone than others I’ve read recently, which I found intriguing. I usually see their relationship starting on negative terms, so it was nice to see something blossom between them.
There are three other novellas in this series I am adding to my list. The next one is about Medusa, and I’m excited to read it.
I have always been a fan of Greek mythology so I was excited to read this book. I didn’t know it was a short story until I noticed how many chapters there were.
I honestly really loved this short romance story. The friends to lovers between Hermes and Hecate was super cute. I really enjoyed the focus of their relationship and how they brought Hades and Persephone together. I enjoyed that there wasn’t a lot of detailed description of what Hermes and Hecate were doing in the shed. I enjoyed it was kind of simple and not over the top, unlike how some romance books are.
Overall, this book was a quick read and I enjoyed the romance of it.

This book attempted to tell two love stories (Hades and Persephone, Hecate and Hermes) in 69 pages. I hope the number of pages was deliberate but that was only the real sexual thing about the book.
Nothing properly fleshed out, 1 very quickly described sex scene and a second even briefer described sex scene. Oh, and a rosemary garden, which was the best bit of the book.
I don’t understand how a literal Titan has gone eons refusing Hermes’ affections and then in a matter of hours gives in to him? This isn’t developed or explored properly. Neither is her guilt about ruining her best friend’s life by taking her daughter from her, but there we are.
If you have a little time to spare and you want a charming little read, this is it. Hecate is concerned that her garden isn't growing properly because Demeter is messing up the weather patterns. Hermes comes to her aid when the two of them hatch a scheme to get Persephone and Hades to meet. But that's not the only love connection that's going to be made! This is a short story, so don't expect elaborate side plots and a deep dive into the characters. It's a pleasant read when you have a little time to kill.
A beautiful cover, which made me expect a nice Hades/Persephone retelling, but that's not really what I got.
First of all, Hades/Persephone is really secondary to Hecate/Hermes, which is a very random pairing, and it didn't really convince me tbh. Also, all the gods and goddesses felt more like random humans than actual divine beings, and I was mostly bored throughout the 70 pages.
I'm also not sure why Hecate is celebrating Samhain, or calling herself Persephone's "goddessmother", which is just kinda forced? Especially since Persephone is called goddaughter later.
It’s a retelling of the Hades and Persephone myth that centers Hecate and Hermes as the masterminds getting them together, while also falling in love themselves. I don’t really think two love stories in one novella leaves enough time to develop either relationship, and I wondered, why bother writing a story if you’re not going to tell it properly?
I really enjoyed this novella. I've always really like Greek mythology but would get a bit confused by parts. This story did a great job telling certain aspects of Hades and Persephone. I did think it was a little strange that there was a slightly dirty part but only one time and it was not for very long, but to be fair, I think it added to the story. It was quite beautiful
It's a tiny, cute, nice novella. And it's not a bad, fast read. It's also an interesting retelling of Hades and Persephone. However, as an interesting retelling as it may be, it's way too focused on what one would expect would be the secondary characters... but I enjoyed reading how their relationship evolved.
I thought this was a cute book to read it was very nicely written and over all I think it could have been a 5 star if it were alittle dirtier but it's a good book
I loved this book so much it didn't take me long to read it was the perfect amount of love and adventure. It's a short book but I enjoyed it. I highly recommend this authors series.
