I’m very intrigued with this book, not my usual reading
Even though the editing was off I still gave a 5 bc the book was really good. I usually don’t read book where the dominant character is female especially a gangster or mobster violence character. But this Jamila has changed my mindset on that. She say what she means and means what she say. She rules with a stern attitude. I really like how author depicted Jamila. He made her into a strong character but not overbearing that men could accept her as a don. She wasn’t a soft naive character and she is so smart. She wasn’t that weak character that cried every chapter, she was upstanding and loyal to the family she built. I hate she and Fabio parted and I wonder if Frankie made the right choice. I’m still confused about if she really killed Tony. I’m excited to read the next book, I hope the 2nd book has the same momentum.

Gangsta
This chick is strait up gangsta. She came in like a wreaking ball and tore everyone down. I hope Fabio don't start no war with her. He should have never left. He ran like a coward and wants to come back after the smoke clears. No sir, you did not get your hands dirty to be the head. Now if you come back and want to be her man, then that might me an option. Lorenzo has been her backup since she started this, maybe they should get together and have some little gangsta babies.
