From the Ashes
This was honestly #$%@ crazy. I loved and hated it. The secrets coming out slowly, with the final chapter that simply blowed everything out. The guys, the projet, the facilities, the truth and most of all Cam was simply mind-blowing. All of this book was really unique. It was filled with lies, lots and lots of lies and hidden truths. Story and plot was so interesting that I simply spent half night reading, till the last word. As always with Candice Wright it was rollercoaster of feelings and little crumbs of truth leading to conclusion, which kind of turn everything up side down, and it’s exactly what I love about her writing, you never can be really sure of anything... except of reading an amazing book.

From the Fire
It was simply mind blowing. Not that I’m surprised, it’s what I was expecting all along (what? ... when It’s Candice who writes it can only be fantastic). It was filled with so many feelings, so many dreads. New friends, more understanding, more connections, searing attraction, planning and so much more on pages of this story. It kept me captive, it hold my heart and it played with my head... We were dipped in action, gone trough plots, been surprised more than once. I shout on my husband and kids when they disturbed me while reading, when I started it, there was no possibility of me putting it down. I think I did probably die and come back as phoenix, I did probably combust with fire several times while reading this book. And the final left me jaw dropped, gapping on the last page asking why.. just three letters come to my mind... OMG... I need more of this world.

Epilogue
It was simply just the cherry on the top. The steam, the bonding, the possessiveness. We had finally the time to get to know them all. And they finally had the time to be together, be themselves. Beautiful addition.

I loved this duet. It has both of the books from the Phoenix Project and an epilogue that lets us see even more into the lives of the characters and how they are doing. This was my first time reading these stories and I was consumed with the world that Candice brought to life. What happens when everything you thought you knew turned out to be a lie? What happens when the ones you sacrificed everything for are taken from you without your knowledge? What lengths will you go to in order to bring down the very people who are supposed to be helping you, but turn out to be the ones who took everything from you? These are all questions the FMC has to ask herself in these stories. The FMC has strength that she doesn’t even realize. The secrets and lies that surround her start to come out one by one. She starts to finally learn what she has lost due to all of the secrets and lies. The men that love her have their own secrets and lies that they find out about along the way. Of course, these secrets and lies affect the FMC in ways that I never saw coming. These books have love, heartbreak, steam, and just about every other emotion you can think of. In true Candice fashion, she brings you into the world of the Phoenix Project and doesn’t let you go. Even days later and my book hangover is still preventing me from starting another story.

This was recommended to me algorithmically, because I wanted to read The Phoenix Project: A Novel About IT, DevOps, and Helping Your Business Win. Clearly, a reverse harem shadowy-conspiracy thriller romantic erotica duet is not at all related to DevOps, but why not? The premise sounded interesting, and for a title on Kindle Unlimited, there's no harm in trying it out.

It could have been an interesting thriller, spiced up with some specific types of erotica. But it didn't really work at either level. The writing just wasn't good enough to be believable or interesting as a thriller, nor for me to really care about any other characters, nor any of their interrelationships, whether inside or outside of the bedroom. Did not finish, unfortunately. The promising glimmers of interesting ideas here and there just weren't enough to convince me to slog through all 700-ish pages of this pair of "novels."

Book 1:

This book is everything. I just finished it and I am still shaking and so full of emotion. My heart is broken. I’m sad, angry, and even a little hopeful. I’ve never read anything like this. It played with every emotion and sucked me in immediately. These characters will steal your heart and make you want them and love them. Fox... wow!! What an amazing ride that I’m so thankful I was able to take. Truly fantastic. Book two can’t come soon enough.

Book 2:

My new favorite series. I’m obsessed. I love where this story pics up and what our girl, now Ro, has been up to. I love a badass girl!! Of course, nothing can stay calm, but damn, it all made me dive in farther. I love the new additions. All the new and old characters are fantastic and make me care about each and every one. This is over, and I loved the end (mostly) but not really over. I’m pretty damn excited to see what’s next for Syn. It’s going to be hot!!

And this set has the new bonus material!! This is a must read. I’ll always adore this series!!

Good story disappointing ending

The whole story was great! I loved the end of book one and how she felt with the trauma and the lies. I love that they were separated for a year and they had to work to earn her back. The idea behind the story was good. However the ending was just plain awful. If there was a book three it wouldn’t be an issue, but it doesn’t look like there will be. There was so much left unfinished. The whole idea what to take down Phoenix but they didn’t they just went into hiding. We also got two new mates but very little time with them at all. There will be a spin off series which will be fun but all the characters in this series have so much unfinished business. I give the ending one star but book one and most of book 2 brought the rating to 3 out of five.

Although this is a rerelease with an extended episode by Candice, this is the first time I’ve read the duet and all I can say is hot damn!!

Candice definitely has a talent for writing damaged characters, hot men, strong females and steamy scenes.

This duet was not what I expected and was well worth the read. The synopsis for these books doesn’t at all do them justice and doesn’t even scratch the surface about what they are about.

The Phoenix Project is the name of a medical experimental program that is testing a drug protocol that could change everything. People are recruited as test subjects with the promise of one million dollars. Cameron James enters the program not knowing she’s the key to the whole project. And along the way, she falls in love and loses everything. Of course, that's just book one. Book two takes place one year later. Cameron has been reborn and is hell-bent on revenge. The extended epilogue takes place a few days after book two and spans eight days.

Add in some crazy people, a covert military group and supernatural powers as well as Cameron's harem of damaged men and you've got another must-read by Candice Wright.

This is the best way to read this duet because it’s all right there for you to read with an extra 9 chapter epilogue at the end!

This is the box set for Candice Wright’s Phoenix Project duet, it includes From the Ashes and From the Fire plus and extended epilogue that you are not going to want to miss!!

Grab this one, get lost in this world of strong women and even stronger men 😏. This isn’t for the weak and you are definitely going to blush, but I can’t believe that there is a better way to finish 2021!

Do not miss out on this set I promise you won’t be disappointed!!

This is one of the best series that I've read in a long while. Candice has a special talent for ripping your heart out and then shoving it back into your chest. This series is all about growth but it's also filled with heart break and tragedy. There are some of the hottest sex scenes I've ever read. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves over the top asshole alphas. My suggestion is grab a cup of tea, a cozy blanket and a box of tissues because you are in for a ride.

I had the individual books in this series on my TBR list on Goodreads for a long time so i was chuffed to bits when i saw that they were all in a boxset. I was eager to get my hands on them. I wasnt disappointed either. The Phoenix Project is definitely a mixture of ups and downs. It brings the emotions out as well as a few laughs and plenty of steam. I couldnt praise it up enough. It was so bloody good

Well well well... What can I say?? This duet blew my mind!
I received the duet as an ARC and didn't have any expectations, didn't know about the story, just hoped it was good.

Holy hells. Hotter than fire. That’s what this book is. Candice did it again! Ro and her men are absolutely delicious! A little darker than usual, we still have plenty of humor, love, and sexy times. Filled with lies, treachery, heartbreak, and forgiveness. And that epilogue? Straight up non-stop good times! Can’t wait for Syn’s story!!! 💜

Loved it!

I loved this story when each part of the duet originally released, and this box set just gave me an excuse to fall for these characters all over again! Not to mention the epilogue with all that delicious steam and a peek into their lives post-Phoenix. Highly recommend this read!

Brilliant duet.
These books are fast paced and full of excitement and thrill. you will not be able to put these down.
Cameron is going through so much, fighting for her life and its not looking good, so she makes a bargain with the phonix group, but its not just testing and observation. way more is happening behind the scene
Brilliant read.

This series was sooo good! I couldn’t put it down. I had been craving some superpowers/superheroes/RH for a while and couldn’t find anything that caught my attention. Nemo and her men are badass. Some feels, lots of steam, and a lots of sass. Also, can’t wait to read about Syn and her mates!

Not my favourite from this author but

I enjoyed the characters and the plot. For me, it was just too slow paced.

But read everything ever written by her as I have laughed and cried and fallen in love with each character...

Wow this series blew me away! I was gripped from the start.

A twist on your typical RH this tale of secrets, lies, heartbreak and recovery will have you feeling all the things. Like it or not! I'm not always a fan of boxsets as i find my attention shifting but this wasn't the case at all here. I was almost surprised when I got to the end.

The character and relationship development is phenomenal through out this. The steam is off the charts and Fox just ties it all up in a sexy wee bow! I adored the epilogue too <3

Absolutely Loved it

Wow, I thought the underestimated series had my heart but this series blew me away.

This set made me feel all the emotions, love happiness, sadness, grief there was tears not going to lie but there was humour and laughs a plenty, like a big old hormonal roller coaster ride!

This is an RH but a bit different from others I've read as it doesn't have the same equality with all the guys, which is something I'm drawn to when reading RH as I always think there's at least one you would love more. Here it's Fox and I can definitely say I love him the most too.

Our leading lady is hot she doesn't start out that way, well she is on the inside...she has a vulnerability all throughout the book that you can't help but fall for and root for her to indeed have all the love of not just her men but the love of family which I loved in this.

These books have plenty of story content, action and mystery and if you like your sex scenes you will not be disappointed to say the least.

I can't wait to read Syn's book and I hope these guys appear at some stage and Gus too, because I have a soft spot

Candice and I will be having words about Jack though!

*3.5 stars

I enjoyed this again the second time round reading this as a full duet. I will say I was a little disappointed in the ending. I get that she's trying to set it up for Syn's book(s), but I would have preferred if the big bad was a little better resolved here and Syn's story has a new problem that pops up.
