Ma'am I need part 2 ASAP!!
Oliva is about to play a game that she's not ready for!!!!!!! If she knows what's best for her she better just let things as they are!! Ol Armani pulled a fast one on King I bet he won't try her again! I'm glad the truth finally came out though!!!I love the bond that Armani and Ace have!! PJ might as well go on about his business bc its over with for him!! I did not like the way Veronica tried to handle Mani. That wasn't cool at all!!!! If Lamar was smart he wouldn't even get involved with this game Oliva tryna play!!! I need for Kevina to drop part 2 immediately!!!

Ok
Idk how to feel about this story. Armani caught her man cheating with not one but two females at the same time, and she don’t know if she wanna leave him or not? What? Then to go on acting like it never happened where they do that at? Then the whole keeping the father out of the kids life I hate I hate it I hate it. And everybody acting like it’s ok, and she had every reason to, once she admitted that she wasn’t planning on ever telling him about the twins all bets would have been off. I really didn’t like her character, and the same story has been told so many times before. Idk if I wanna read part 2 yet.

Secrets and Lies!
Good read. Here you have a young girl that loves her brother and father who has a strained relationship with her mom loved by her dad's people and her mom's sister meets a guy and has her world turned upside down. Her mom is holier than thou, and she looks at Armani as she should live her life as she lives hers. Armani went to church started dating a church boy he wasn't right so she left him alone. She met King and had a good time with him until she had and issue and he clowned her. Armani chose to move away from Chicago to Georgia finished school and got ready to begin her life.
She went to Chicago after being gone 4years with a surprise for King. In the meantime while she was in Georgia, she met a guy and thought they had a true relationship, until she found out he was no better than the good church boy. Coming back home Armani found out secrets weren't good to keep from people and she realized her family kept a secret from her that almost cost her a chance to mend her and her mom's relationship. It's a good story some reasons Armani chose to make her choices weren't right in my opinion, but because she was young but very level headed I think it will work out in her favor. Olivia and Lamar are gonna get their karma, I wonder what's gonna happen when Ace and Armani dad comes home? Where will PJ end up? And I wonder what's going on with Deidra and PJ? Because they seem to chummy for me. Will Lamar go through with hurting Erica? Can't wait for the next part! Great Job

This is my first read by this author... I did enjoy her writing style...But it definitely had a lot of over detailing that pulled away from the storyline a bit... This book was pretty good... There was drama, no good men, messy women and so many lies... It did jump in time a few times and this kind of threw the flow off a little bit...
Armani is a young woman that is pretty smart and knows that she will pursue a good future and she plans on going to college... She is like any young lady... Lying to her mom about where she is going and who she is hanging with... Using her cousin and friend as her excuse to get out and live her life and feel like she is grown... She let her cousin talk her into hanging out with a group of men for the night... Little did she know how much this would change her life and other relationships with her family members...
King is that man in the streets... He is young and just living the life... It is him, his brother and their friend that are always together... He is not in a relationship and does not want to be in one... He has not found a woman that has grabbed his attention and his heart for a relationship... So he just hooks up with women and moves on... Well one night of hanging with his brother and friend while they meet up with some girls... And his intrest was peeked... And after a wild night and a few interesting conversations and his life was beginning to change... But he made the wrong move and said the wrong thing and he lost one of the best people in his life... And didn't know the precious time he was losing behind his words...
After Armani gave the news of her being pregnant to her family... All hell broke loose and she had to make a big decision on what her next move would be... She decided that she needed to get away and left to go live with her aunt in grandma in another state... I need the second book like right now! This book is very interesting. Olivia is straight crazy, Lamar ain’t to far behind crazy. Erica is desperate and delusional and Eric doesn’t have much to say for being the head of his family.Veronica is the typical church folk, pretending to want to protect her children and just really protecting her image. While Ace is the great big brother, always protecting and standing up for his little sister. Kings family wonderful non-judge mental and very accepting( that’s rare). They also hold King responsible for his actions, most families try to dog out the other person. Armani knew better than to hide those children and although she is a responsible person and good mother, she still robbed the children and their father of time

Great read
If Olivia don't go sit her thirsty arse down somewhere. She is doing way too much. From her teenage years to adulthood, she hate Armani who could care less about her. She definitely shouldn't compete where she can't compare. Shoots, even if Erica didn't know about Lamar and Mani before, once she did find out she should have called off the engagement because who the hell does things like that anyway. Pj is one nasty s.o.b. King finding out bout those babies went alot better than I expected. That's crazy they didn't tell Mani about her mom's condition. With everything going on, I really think King and Armani gone get back together because no matter how much time has passed, the heart want who it wants and I won't be mad at them at all.

Excellent Love Story!!
Wow! What a story. From the very first page I was hooked. This story had it all: romance, mystery, suspense, and forgiveness. Armani found a way to survive when the odds were against her. She was determined to make it without the help of Mr. King. The support system that surrounded Armani would not allow her to fall.
King knew all along his heart belonged to Armani. Once she returned to Chicago and he found out about the twins, it was game over. He was never going to let her go. King was a man who loved his kids and did whatever he took to take care of them. His first born son was always included in his life with Armani. He was an excellent example of a strong black man.
I truly enjoyed this entire series. Kevina did an excellent job with writing this story. Is it possible for a spin-off from this story? Maybe Ace and his girlfriend?

Pay attention to red flags

I don’t understand with Olivia’s character. Olivia is hateful, disrespectful and judgmental. She wants to be like Armani. I don’t think King and Olivia are in serious relationship because they’re not in the same space. King is more calm and less drama but he can be selfish and aggressive. Olivia doesn’t learn how to think before she speaks. I understand that why King mad at Armani for keeping secrets for their twins.
I can’t wait to read part two of this series.

I loved everything about this book. The only problem I had was the mix up with the mom's name. It kept going from Victoria to Veronica. I love Armani and although she was wrong for not telling King about the twins, she felt she was doing what was best. PJ needs to just go somewhere and stick his head in a hole somewhere. After Armani caught him with his head where the sun don't shine, why would he think he deserved another chance. Somebody please tell Olivia she bout to get her feelings hurt thinking she can pull one over on King. Especially not that. This was an outstanding book and I can't wait to see what happens next.❤❤

This was a really good book, Olivia is messing with the wrong people, I see those butt whippings that Armani gave her didn't teach her anything. I hate that Armani's mom is dying and they tried to keep it from her. I must say that I'm proud of Armani and the growth/progress she has made over the years. I love me some King and I can't wait until Armani and him get it together. I love them together. As for PJ, I feel like he hasn't learned his lesson and I really feel like he and her best friend were low key talking on the slick, because they were to close. But I cannot wait until everything unfolds in part two. Please don't keep us waiting for it! Again great read!

King got his hands for with Trina rat ass and with Olivia scheming ass. Lamar is a creep and Erica got some serious issues to still want to deal with him after what Armani told her. Erica act like she a little slow. Nothing good is going to come out of Olivia plan. King and Armani better keep their eye's open because Olivia is desperate.

Disappointed
It’s time for a new story to be written..I truly was hoping the storyline would take a different turn...Despite not being sure if Armani’s mother’s name was Victoria or Veronica amongst other poor editing issues..Tired of the Olivia type of characters..King and Armani could be that couple without all the deception and unnecessary bs..the PJ..Deidra..Lamar and Olivia characters are going to evolve to..A Ratchet Baby Mother and Hidden Twins for three years was enough..This story has been told time and time again...Let’s show couples getting it out the mud..making it happen...

I loved this book! I could not put it down once I started reading it. I love King, although his slick mouth pissed me off for a second when he snapped on Armani. Armani proved to him that she didn’t need him though. I want to see them make it. Armani needs to leave PJ alone for good. I love Ace too and how he looks out for his family. I like Cassie & Dre together. I cannot stand Olivia ole jealous behind. I can’t wait until she gets what she deserves. Part 2 me now please!!!!

Good but sick of it
Everyone that's praising Armani is some type of sick. She straight up lied and kept her kids from King but stayed in touch with him. Yes he said some wrong stuff but he didn't deserve to not be in kids life. I'm sick of this storyline. These women are wrong point blank period. I applaud her for doing her thing but she had a whole different man being a father when they had one that didnt know. Whewww I'm pissed about this one. Then the freaking BM that cant let go and a scandalous new girl who cant let go. Come on now.

Very entertaining
This group of characters are very messy there is always that one or two vendictives females that will not let go. Lamar, and PJ are low down
Overall this is another satisfied read that I enjoyed. The story line was consistent and there was hardly any grammatical errors. Hopefully we don't have to wait to long for part two I need to see how this mess plays out.

I loved this story from beginning to the end.. When Armani met King she was young & they were just having fun..her & Cassie were doing things that teenage girls do but King wanted her the moment he saw her.. They were destined too be together regardless of alk the outside people..Ace had Armani,s back no matter what..a very good read..u will definitely Enjoy this one..PT2 gone bring All the drama & heat.. From beginning to end, I was engrossed in this love story. I loved how King and Armani knew exactly what it was and cared less about what anything else thought. Sometimes as women, we are left making decisions before fully thinking them through. I’m glad despite secrets, Armani was able to live in her truth and make things right! I cannot wait to see how part two plays out as the end definitely left me drop jawed!

I knew King and Armani were going to mess around again what surprised me was Armini kept the baby and ended up having twins. She ended up coming back to Chicago and King was with her nemesis Olivia whos hotter than fish grease smh. Wow.....so Olivia is showing out and is going to be a mess I see. Lamar is a goofy too because he's dumb lol. I'm really loving King and Armani, even though he was robbed of three years of being in the twins life he stepped right up. PJ is a lame and a complete turn off I can't believe Armani gave him a chance, plus I feel like him and Mani's best friend got something going on. I can't wait to see what's in store in book 2!

I can't wait until King claims his woman Armani. I love the kids are going to get to know their dad. Olivia, Lamar, PJ, and Deidre are all snakes. Cassie and Dre seems to have a good relationship just like Ace and Kenzie. Olivia should be tired of taking a beating. Erica seems like she is going to be petty...can't wait for part 2!

Wow! What a good story line. My favorite character is King. I hope that Armani and king have the happy ending they deserve. But Will Olivia come between them. Lamar is a snake in the grass, he only wants the sister because he thought Armani would care. Excellent job, I can’t wait to see what happens next.

Very good story. King really pissed me off, but he redeemed himself. Armani was so wrong for keeping that secret for 3 years. PJ is trash. Lamar is dirty for not telling Erica about him and Armani. Olivia is a nut and I can't wait to see how this plan backfires on her...
