A MM Shifter Romance.

Howie Ferris has lived with evil all his life. Abuse and pain are an every day occurrence. He thinks his life is hopeless, but he doesn't realize he's full of hope. He yearns for something better. Will he have the courage to grab it with a shifter named Slater?

In Slater’s opinion, if you find the light that pierces your pitch-black soul, you’re a fool if you don’t grab it and hold on tight. He found that gift in Howie. It didn’t matter that Howie was human. It didn’t matter that Howie’s brother was the pack’s sworn enemy and Slater had vowed wipe out his despicable existence. For Slater, what mattered most was when Howie smiled at him, and that smile chased the constant sadness out of the man’s gorgeous blue eyes.

Now they only had to figure out why Howie had started to sparkle.

After reading this, I knew I was going to be in trouble. Not only did it leave so many questions unanswered, it looked like this writer was going to add a threesome storyline to this amazing series and I am so disappionted!!! Why Aja? why must MMM be part of this? you can write a seperate storyline as a stand alone but just why must Nash have two mates? why??? I destest 3somes. It triggers me. When I see storylines about it, I avoid them, because to me, it validates that you can love more than one person at the same time and I do not believe in that nonsense, not in my fictional world, and definitely not in the real world. 3some stories are like when humans cheat on their partners and their partners are aware of it and accept it. I dont and I never will enjoy reading it. That being said, I will be looking foward to Aja's other stories that explains all the plot twists that were introuduced in this one. I just pray to the MM gods that Aja focuses more on the Eagle and Cutter's storyline next. But with the epilogue that I read, sadly, I know that would'nt happen! Damn!

This book was both beautiful and heart-wrenching.

This book put me through the wringer. Slater and Howie have been through so much and yet stay so strong. The aching pain of years of wickedness inflicted on them both jumped off the page. Yet, at the same time, the utter sweetness of both Slater and Howie’s love was overwhelming. This book deals with a lot of very dark themes (sexual violence, torture, long-term abuse, psychological abuse, grief) and yet it balances those horrifying issues against the belief that there is still good in the world. For darkness there is light; whether that is in the form of someone to love and be loved by or in the form of those willing to fight evil. We also still have the background plot of what on Earth is happening - I can’t wait for the next instalment and to see what happens next. I’m not sure how many books are left (I’m hoping at least another 4) but I would happily keep reading for many, many more.

Cry Wolf by Aja Foxx and Ciena Foxx is the fourth book in the Wilde Wolves series. I have not read this series in complete order and was not lost. I really liked this story. There is a ton of heart and soul in this story.

Howie wanted to stop his brother from the horrible acts he is perpetrating against men. He wanted the whipping he got to stop. Even knowing that he will suffer huge consequences he still helps someone escape his brother’s horrible grasp.

I loved Howie’s bravery. He is so much more than he knows. He is strong and has a beautiful heart.

Everett he will fight even while getting a beating. He has had a military career. Will kill if he has to. His specialty is computers. He is strong, loving, and caring. He is deeply loyal.

I loved this story and cannot wait for more from this series in the future.

I really enjoy this series. I think the sentient house is my favorite “character” in the series. I really enjoyed this particular installment. I think that my biggest complaint is that nothing is ultimately explained as to why Howie started to sparkle. There was no cliffhanger but there are many dangling plot threads that need to be answered. Also, I’m a bit confused as to what exactly is going on with the spider. I know at least one person has seen him in the previous books but doesn’t seem to have mentioned him to the alpha. Not sure what exactly is going on there.

All in all, I really enjoyed this book and am looking forward to the next one in the series.

Cry Wolf
By Ciena Foxx, Aja Foxx

This book was very well written, but at the same time I had a really hard time with it. There are so many dark parts to it. Even so, I loved the main characters Slater and Howie. The love they share for each other despite the physical horror they've both gone through over the years was pretty wonderful. One of my favorite parts of the book though was the house, Belle Grove. Every scene it was in stole the show.

Great story!

I ran across this story while searching for shifter/human fated mate novels; a favorite of mine. While the story of Slater and Howie’s path towards each other is gripping, and a great read, soon it became obvious that by starting with Book 4, I missed a lot background to this universe. So, I’m looking forward to starting with Book 1 today and eventually reread this great story.

Loved it

This book was an excellent addition to the series. I loved how Slater so quickly realized who Howie was to him and remained steadfastly committed to him and there relationship. It was nice to see Howie come out of his shell as he learned to trust Slater.

Another great book

Another great story. Hate the end because it leaves you with more questions than answers, but it sets up the story line for the next book. I would DEFINITELY recommend all their books.

Wow. The authors have outdone themselves here. Slater and Howie are great together but the suspense around discovering the truth about Howie’s mom, Keenan’s mom, Dan’s dead wife, and Slater’s mom is keeping me on the edge of my seat!

So great and amazing....

I've read all of the previous books in this series, and find each to be so amazing. They keep you eager and ready for the next book, just to find out what's going to happen next. And, I can't wait for the next book to come out.

I am sorry that this series is ending here.😢. So many questions/characters are being left without answers and now, hopefully, I have to keep checking to see if this series will ever be concluded.

The Best Kind of Serial Killer

As in this is a series of killer stories. Iren, you be you, sweetheart.
And can I just say I'd live in just about any haunted, spirit soaked house if it was self cleaning.

I liked Howie, his romance with Slater was cute and warm. What I don't really understand is the plotted part of this series beside the romantic side. It's like chasing bad buys in the dark, nothing makes sense.

Excellent read

Great story as always from Aja. Unfortunately lost a star as the editing needs more work because the typo's were annoying & jolt me out of the flow of the story.

I would like to know how this story ended. Not left as to guess about the house haunting and the people behind the whole thing

Seriously confused how this ends with a million unanswered questions and conflict unresolved. There are also tons of key characters thay haven't completed their mating or met their mates yet.

Finally, in book 4 the authors get everything in a row and things are really cooking --- then - we wait .... and wait. The first four were written in 2020 and 2021. Since then - NOTHING!
Even though the story was great in this book and the execution well done, I wish I had never read it as this length of time usually means it has been abandoned and I will never know the answers. I hate this with a passion. Do not start a series if you do not have an end in mind and are willing to finish it.
