The thrilling conclusion of Sabrina: Something Wicked is here, and it’s going to put our magical teen heroine face-to-face in a battle against someone unexpected—will everything Sabrina’s learned about magic help her through this ordeal?
KELLY THOMPSON has a degree in Sequential Art from The Savannah College of Art & Design. Her love of comics and superheroes have compelled her since she first discovered them as a teenager. Currently living in Portland, Oregon with her boyfriend and the two brilliant cats that run their lives, you can find Kelly all over the Internet where she is generally well liked, except where she's detested.
Kelly has published two novels - THE GIRL WHO WOULD BE KING (2012) and STORYKILLER (2014) and the graphic novel HEART IN A BOX from Dark Horse Comics (2015). She's currently writing ROGUE & GAMBIT, HAWKEYE, and PHASMA for Marvel Comics and GHOSTBUSTERS for IDW. Other major credits include: A-Force, Captain Marvel & The Carol Corps, Jem and The Holograms, Misfits, Power Rangers Pink, and the creator-owned mini-series Mega Princess.
Kelly's ambitions are eclipsed only by her desire to exist entirely in pajamas. Fortunately pajamas and writers go hand in hand (most of the time). Please buy all her stuff so that she can buy (and wear) more pajamas.
Sabrina: Something Wicked concludes in this chapter with a somewhat unusual duel. The battle between good and evil basically comes down to a supernatural version of Yu-Gi-Oh. I'm not doing the showdown justice, as there's much more to it than that. Writer Kelly Thompson creates a stark contrast between Sabrina and Della based on the attacks they use. Della hits with dark and frightening blows, designed to maim and kill her opponent. Meanwhile, Sabrina sticks to the light, using positive energy to counteract these attacks, finally forcing Della to confront her own sordid past.

With nearly a year between issue 1 & 5 made things harder to remember & follow, but overall I’m still a big fan. I love Sabrina as a character in all her many iterations and Kelly Thompson does a wonderful job making her modern without making her cheesy. Definitely looking forward to a 3rd story arc in the longer running series!
3. The artwork of Veronica and Andy Fish for this series is so underrated, and I feel the need to shout it out and praise it whenever I get the chance. In the words of Taylor Swift, it is a technicolor dream.
4. The witches face down with a card game? Sure, why not.
5. Look, I know I was rooting for Ren, but after the Sabrina/Harvey breakup he's sort of leaving me cold. I'll have to see where this relationship develops.
6. Huh, that seems like it was too easy?
7. Okay, I take it back. Maybe just the kiss scene left me cold. Ren is a cutie who knows who Sabrina is and likes her for her and also wears a leather jacket!
8. WE GOT SALEM SWEARING IN THIS ISSUE! I'M IN LOVE! SOMEONE MAKE THIS IMAGE FOR ME ON A MUG!
9. Where the hell are Sabrina's aunts? Don't they know their teen witch niece has been engaging and all kinds of hijinks? And who is Ambrose? And why is he here?
10. Ah, cliff-hanger. Not that satisfying a wrap-up for this arc, but I'm curious to see what happens next.
