„Shadow Dance“, the fifth installment in Elise Hennessy’s “Blood Legacies” verse, combines once more traditional shifter and vampire mythology with faerie traditions, and healthy dose of tragic romance This paranormal romance series focuses into different romantic couples throughout the books, linked together through the world of NYC vampire night life and the Faerie realm in one of the most original verse in urban fantasy vampire Fae lore.

“Shadow Dance” chosen couple consists of Sirius, who is slowly losing the hold on his magic and Talina, whose aether nature seems to be the only way to control his rapidly arising beast. However, the calm cannot last, because Sirius unbeknownst to himself triggers an ancient prophecy that will change everything. The same prophecy Talina has been running from fulfilling all her life.

A fast-paced well-written story in Elise Hennessy’s unmistakable style. The plot adds brand-new plots in the familiar Blood Legacies verse, with a new mix of interconnecting powers and ability, the juxtaposition of the raw power luring in Sirius magic, and the deadliest Fae God of Lighting and the aerie gift that allows Talina to dance on the wind, form a rich tapestry, that shows the balance between discipline and control (or lack of it), giving the plot more depth than the usual vampire/fae paranormal romance story. A page-turner from start to finish, with a good mix of action, world-building, romance, unexpected situations, interesting twists, and the occasional funny moments, that keeps the reader invested in the characters and their journey until their fulfilment.

I have absolutely loved this series! Getting to know a different side of Sirius as he follows his journey through Faerie has been a pleasure. The character development throughout the series is phenomenal. Ms Hennessy has been able to keep the stories fresh and entertaining while keeping true to the original characters while adding new characters thus adding depth to the stories. I have enjoyed reading this series and look forward to meeting new characters as well as getting reacquainted with the original characters.

Shadow Dance is the fifth book in the Blood Legacy series, this story focused on Sirius and Talina. I enjoyed this book as it adds to the story and mythology that was created in this world. I love this series, it was great to learn a bit more about Sirius and Talia. This book adds to the overall world and story. The worldbuilding is fantastic and it leaves you wanting more.

This is Book 5 in this series and Elise Hennessy has seriously outdone herself with this series! I have loved every book a little more than the last and I fear it coming to and end This installment digs a little deeper into Sirius and Talina and the journey through Faerie. Great world and character building AGAIN…This is a must read for fantasy and faerie lovers alike!

Focusing on Sirius and his many facets we add in Talina. His fated mate, whom he triggered a prophecy on. Each book has been written well and the storyline flows very nicely in the adventure to get the key and of what becomes or their story.

I have to admit I was quiet lost at the beginning as it was so long ago since I finished Court of Illusion so I went back and read the last fee chapters of it. I am so glad Sirius got a book about him. Much is revealed with lots of action. As usual there is a cliffhanger ending.

Great addition to the series. This book adds to the world building of the Blood Legacies verse while giving a new couple's story. I really like the mix of "traditional" vampire and shifter lore with faerie stories.
