I love a good stalker romance and Jessa Kane did it right. How she packed so much passion and obsession in 69 pages is amazing to me.
One night Peyton runs away from her stepbrother and right into the arms on Granger, her stalker. Granger is so OTT possessive. The sexual tension between these two was off the charts hot. Granger was definitely obsessed over Peyton.
If you are looking for a quick, smutty, dark read I highly recommend this one. This is a new to me author but I must check out her backlog.

This was weird and cringe at the same time, but I still enjoyed it🤣🤣
Now, thanks to this novella, I know that apparently there is something called a "cock cage". Yes, you read that right LOL. That scene was one of the weirdest things I've ever read and I couldn't help but laugh while at the same time I was thinking "wtf am I reading?"
This was my face:
Granger (H) this man here was crazy and obsessive (which I liked), but the heroine was just average, I would have wanted her to have more power and character. Another thing that made me lower my rating was that I couldn't connect with the story because it felt very rushed (I know it's a novella, but it didn't make any sense, it was jumping from one thing to another). The way the MCs met, umm idk? I didn't quite like it.
The good thing is that at least the last 20% -15% was really great!
Now, why did the H have to call the h “little fairy” and her pussy “virgin kitty”?? Not sexy, just cringeee.

This book is mental. And coming after a book where everybody died in the end, you have no idea how much of a comfort this book is to me right now.

Okay, this one? Absolutely unhinged in the best way!!
Peyton runs away in the middle of the night after her disgusting stepbrother tries to assault her and that’s how she ends up crossing paths with Granger. He sees her, instantly knows something’s wrong, and doesn't even hesitate before knocking the guy out cold and taking Peyton home with him. Yeah, from second one, it’s giving obsessed hero energy and I was hooked.
Granger doesn’t push her …at first. He’s sweet, careful with her trauma, but make no mistake, this man is feral for her. He convinces her to stay and from there, the obsession just spirals. He sneaks into her school disguised as a janitor just to keep an eye on her. He gets very territorial. Like, threatens a teacher who flirts with her, watches her from windows, breaks into places. It’s so completely deranged and hot.
At one point, Peyton catches him watching her through the classroom window and obviously freaks out. Tries to run. But Granger? Nope. He scoops her up caveman-style, ties her to his bed and basically says: you’re not leaving me. And the wildest part? She loves it. And so did I, honestly.
The steam was intense , raw, possessive and completely addictive. The chemistry between them is insane. Granger is that classic over-the-top obsessive hero who would burn down the world for her without blinking, and Peyton doesn’t just let it happen, she matches his energy in the best way. These two were made for each other!!
This was a quick read, but it gave me everything I wanted: the obsession, the madness, the spicy scenes and a couple that makes no sense but also makes all the sense.

Meh so far. Didn't care for 22yo virgin teacher h's character coz she seemed dumb to stay with her skeezy stepbrother to help him out financially but he ended up trying to rape her. I expect kindergarten teachers to be more safety-conscious, especially given her trailer-park upbringing. Instead, she acted very naive & immature for a 22yo public-school teacher. H's character portrayal not that interesting either. He sees h running while he was driving down the road. And he insta-loved/lusted her in those few seconds. He finds out from her that she's running from her stepbro & he beats him up when he sees him after her. Emo- & S-tension just meh.

Okayyyy, give me more stalker books and I’ll read them all. I had no idea this was coming out or it would’ve been on my tbr list way sooner. I absolutely loved My Husband, My Stalker so I was all about this book. I did like the other slightly better though.
So in this one Peyton is running away from her stepbrother in the middle of the night after he tried molesting her and comes across a guy in a mustang driving her way. His name is Granger and he basically rescues her and takes her to his house after knocking her stepbrother out. He’s immediately into her but doesn’t want to freak her out after what happened with her brother. He convinces her to stay and she agrees because for some reason she trusts him.
....but he’s obsessed and can’t leave her alone. He sneaks into her school pretending to be the janitor and watches her. He threatens one of the other teachers at her school after he found out the dude asked her out. He’s just... crazy obsessed.
One night she finds out he was watching her outside her classroom window and she freaks out, tries to run, but he fuckin carries her out, drags her home, and ties her to his bed. Ohhhh my. 🥵🥵 She ends up loving it.
So everything works itself out like these books always do, and they have a nice HEA. In the epilogue we find out that Granger actually did something (spoiler) and when Peyton finds out she doesn’t run, she gets even more turned on. Ha, what a crazy pair they are.
Cute and worth the quick read. This is a more sweet stalker story if that’s something you like. I do!

Granger's obsession was hot, all consuming, and totally swoon worthy. He was so possessive and protective of Peyton, even from himself. The whole cage thing? Something I had never seen in a romance before and hot as hell. This book is absolutely going on my re-read and favorite lists. Granger's obsession was hot, all consuming, and totally swoon worthy. He was so possessive and protective of Peyton, even from himself. The whole cage thing? Something I had never seen in a romance before and hot as hell. This book is absolutely going on my re-read and favorite lists. WOOO, MA'AM. Idk if it's because it's that time of the month for me and my hormones are up the roof, but I'm ngl, the over the top obsession and possessiveness mixed with the dirty talk and the smut in this one had me like 👀🥴🥵. I think I liked it more than My Husband, My Stalker, and that's one of my favorite JK reads thus far.

Dark obsessive love. Ms. Kane certainly delivered on the stalker aspect and one definitely can't condone some of what goes on, but I still enjoyed this twisted story.
Two opposite personalities that came together because one was at the right place, at the right time. I loved Granger and Peyton; they were perfect for each other. Even better was that they began as friends.
' “Friends? Nah.” I tilt her chin up and smile. “We’re going to be best friends.” '
Ugh, I melted. Yet another really hot, enjoyable, and quick read. I would definitely recommend this.

I'm trying to read more Novellas this month (Novella November), and Jessa Kane is one of those authors that gets recommended constantly.
This was pretty over-the-top but so good as a palette cleanser!
It gets smutty pretty quickly, and if you like the virgin/ "I have no idea how my body works" FMC getting together with the overly horny MMC whose dick feels like its own character, check it out.
It was pretty entertaining and I'll check out more of Jessa Kane's books.

couldn’t get past the dialogue. for starters, i hate that he kept calling her honey. the rest was a little comical and i just couldn’t get into it.
i loooooved my husband, my stalker so the bar was set pretty high and this just didn’t do it for me.

First off, there’s being naive, and there's being plain stupid.
Unfortunately, the heroine is the latter.
I kinda liked the OTT hero, Granger, but I didn't like Peyton.
I knew what I was getting myself into when I reached for this novella so I'm not gonna be a lil bitch and complain. It was steamy, dark and twisted and I loved that part but the ending put me off a tad.
Hence the missing stars.
