Rate this book
Pari Meleparambil is a bookish IT professional settled in Denver. Not at all on the lookout for a boyfriend. Abhimanyu Nair is a jaded rockstar, vocalist and an ex-Benson Town Rock Band member. Not in a mood for a serious relationship. The last thing Pari had was time for was a spoilt Rock Band Star. A way too attractive young man with a boyish charm, mesmerising melodies, and an intense gaze. Abi had no plans for a long haul, but this self-proclaimed, vivacious older woman was way too attractive for him to remain unaffected by her. Snowed in; with their sizzling attraction, will they let go of their set notions and baggage and embrace it head-on? Will physical attraction and intimacy lead to something more substantial? Can Pari and Abi think beyond the attraction for a serious relationship and companionship? Is one of them going to get hurt or are they going to embrace their unique Alluring Melody?

Here is a passionate romantic who loves literatureand has created many happy ending in her imagination, for every movie or book with a sad conclusion.

She soon began to create her own characters and situations, creating plenty of romances and happy endings to satisfy her imagination. "But for my laziness and diffidence," says Reshma "I would have penned umpteen stories of unexpected pairs meeting and falling in love, overcoming troubles and hurdles to unite for a lifetime."

A voracious reader, Reader, Reshma is a poet as well, and feels that she would be blessed as a writer if she could bring a happy content sigh on the readers lips.

This book moves in parallel to the first book of the series. Set in USA and Kerala, this story talks about friendship, love and also how a small misunderstanding could lead to so many confusions.
The characters are well developed, and having read the previous book in the series, they felt all the more familiar. I loved the friendship between Pari and Tara and the understanding they share. I also loved Pari’s helpful nature. Even the secondary characters have been developed well.
The scenes have been described in detail and there were some scenes that I could actually picturise. Friendships and the understanding between friends has been explored well.
The language is simple and easy to follow and the story flows at an even pace.
Loved this book and am looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
