Nocturnal Lullabies

Rate this book
A love letter to the night. In his third collection of poems, c.r. Elliott takes you on a journey of healing and self-discovery. Nocturnal Lullabies is a collection of words and imagery inspired by those sleepless nights spent under darkened skies with themes such as love, loneliness, heartache and pain. It is about finding purpose and meaning in the small things that make life so worth living. Dreaming with eyes wide open to witness all the magic of this world and finding your place among it. «in this world
so full of dark
she didn’t want
to be saved
she wanted
to be seen
and among
the chaos
she didn’t want
to be heard
she wanted
to be understood»

There were some poems i really liked and really felt in my core, but most did not resonate with me unfortunately. That’s why i give it three stars. The few poems that hit me are the ones dragging it up.
