Hot like Fire 🔥
Andrea gave Angelo just what he needed. They balanced each other out. Overall the storyline was great...especially with the music references. The story had you feeling like family. While reading 📖 I felt as if I really was there.
For me one of the best parts is the reflection of the relationship between Angelo and Andrea. Tiana always keep the reader’s on the edge of your seat from one chapter to the next.
This is really worth it...get caught up in the Laveen Storm😍!

Wicked
I love Tiana Laveen's books and my all-time favorites are the books in the Saint series. Yes!!! I love Dr. Saint Aknaten, and I didn't think she could write another male character who I would love as much as the good doctor. But I was WRONG! Angelo Ferrari is EVERYTHING and more. I enjoyed reading his and Andrea's story, it was a beautiful journey and I didn't want it to end. Can I get a story that centers around their son? With the parents he has, Angelo Jr's story would be amazing. I'm a little sad because I didn't want this story to end. Wait, I can't forget to mention... no, I can't say, because I will be giving away some of the story and each reader must discover how great this story is for themselves.

Dang, Angelo's my new book bae
I loved his nasty mouth. He did not mind letting anyone know how he felt about them. He did not think I've was for him, but when he saw Andrea Ellison, he had to make her his. Andrea was afraid of him on their first meeting when she did a reading for his nonna. She could feel his dark spirit and knew he was a dangerous man. Even though it was against her better judgment, she found Angelo working his way into her heart. When she reluctantly did a reading on him, she could see that he was more than Casper, the contract hitman. She knew his potential to be so much more, but that was the only life he knew. But he also knew that if he stood a chance I have the good witch, he needed to change. Andrea fell in love with the real man. To her, he was her Angel, but she knew his lifestyle, and she loved him anyway. They said that a man will change for a woman, if she is THE WOMAN, and Andrea was that to Angelo.
This e-book was well researched and plotted by the author. Her way with words and how she draws one into the scenes is just magical. She had my heart in my throat several times with the drama. She soothed my fears with her quaint little tale about the Velvet Moon and made me swoon with Andrea's ritual she did as her vows to Angelo. She was finally able to remove that velvet cape from Angelo's soul to let his inner Angel shine. Angelo was able to capture the good witch, his Black Magic Woman who cast a good love spell. They are now one soul one spirit and one heart forever.
"My little shining star loves me, Casper the Boogeyman, and Angelo the Angel, completely, as I wrap us both beneath the folds of my black velvet cape…"

This book was awesome! Tiana Laveen has done it again! Angelo Ferrari was so comical that I kept laughing alot throughout the book! Andrea was such a great character and she and Angelo are a perfect match for each other! I am telling my "age" but the music and everything about the 70's was "my time" and it took me back to my years and the partying, when I myself became a mom, etc.! Thanks, Tiana for such a great story and taking me back to my youth! This was such an awesome read that I am sorry that the story has ended (I wanted it to go on and on) and I wish for more news on this happy couple and their HEA!

Flash back to the duece
Ms. Laveen has been a go to author of mine since her Saint series which I absolutely recommend and adore 💥. This book takes you back to the late 70's and early 80's when men and women were wearing platforms and afros and I absolutely have not seen this time frame written in the erotic interracial romance genre before. This book centers on Angelo a sexy dominant blue eyed Italian and a beautiful natural hair black holistic sista from new York. Their relationship starts off with him chasing and her running only to get caught and enamored in club studio 54. I really enjoyed this book it was funny, exciting and erotic as hell just the way I like them.Highly recommend all of Tiana Laveen books.

Sigh.....This is a good point!
Angelo and Andrea's story was good. Set in the 70s, that was different but relatable for me, I'm a 70s baby. Angelo had such a dark upbringing and lived a scary life as a hitman. Andrea was the light to his darkness, with her psychic abilities. She was his true match. Her aunt was a woot! I'm glad Fred got it together cause for a minute even I wanted him dead! I'm also glad that we got a glimpse into their life later on down the line.

Another Masterpiece!!
Tiana never disappoints. Her characters are always so fully developed that you can see them in your minds eye, they are just brought to life in her books this book is no exception. I love that it's set in the 70's. Angelo has a lot of flaws but he takes very good care of Andrea (like a man is supposed to) and Andrea loves everything about him flaws and all. I really enjoyed this book. If you love a Alpha male and a strong female character you have to get this book!!

Good book but...
I love all this authors work. I won’t give the book less than 3 stars before of that. The sex scenes were super hot, but the story was hard to connect too. Plots all over the place as well. Without giving away a lot. I love how it’s was different, set in New York in the late 70s early 80s. When studio 54 was still popular.

This author is among my top 3 favorite authors. It took me quite a bit longer to read this story compared to the other stories. It was just....”okay”. I really couldn’t get into the witch or spells angle. I must say that the music directory list is “well worth the price for admission”. I absolutely loved the songs that corresponded to some scenes within the story.

Andrea had a smart mouth, sassy and funny. Angelo was crazy AF. He give it to you straight with no chaser. Andrea was avoiding Angelo at all cost until she had finally realized this man is her destiny and there’s no where to run.
Author Tiana had to do some research since the book started off in the 1989. The music, clothing, shoes (what about Angelo’s platform shoes) and even telephone details are on point. Forgot a hair cut was that inexpensive back in the day just random thought.
Story of the velvet moon was very touching and IMHO it speaks to Angelo. Author Tiana got me on You Tube watching the Bus Stop Dance lmao 😂. You truly forget those times and it brings back memories.
Angelo and Andrea were similar. Both their jobs are dangerous in different ways. Andrea learned that the hide way. Angelo carried so much guilt and heartache and he needed Andrea as his healing balm since she is his yolk.

Epic storyline
Ms Laveen took me back to the seventies with the clothes,hairstyles,music the disco and NYC and the Burroughs Angelo was quite the character he was brass,strong,complexed to say the least but always on his game very family oriented especially with his nonna he had issues with his parents love/hate so very emotional but he was the man hands down I’ve always love that Ms Laveen writes from the man POV in her books and her guys are always hot,sexy,and crazy slicked mouthed Andrea was kind,funny and smart mouthed and had physic abilities too when they met it was combustible to say the least this book is in my top five of Ms Laveen countless books bravo can’t wait to see who’s up next

She did it Again!
I was going to say the Author, but that would cheat the person who wrote this story! Give the credit to who earned it, Tiana Laveen ! I loved everything about Angelo and Andrea relationship! The 70's was a great setting, somewhat surprising because of the couple but it was New York. I was pins and needles the entire reading never a dull moment, each time I put my kindle down I am thinking what is going to happen in the next chapter! The suspense, love scenes, the families, the friends and deaths kept me in suspense! I do not like telling what exactly happen but As usual Tiana have it going on, you will not be disappointed! Yes the wicked deserves loves sometime you just have to find the real thing (person)! The right love potion! 5+!

This was a difficult read for me. The story, the characters were somebody I don't usually encounter or read on purpose.
Certain aspects of the story were totally unacceptable (for me such as the constant smoking by them)
Overall, it was well written. The characters were strong/average.
I chose not to read the reviews before diving in as I didn't want to get influenced by them.
One time read.
Edit: Oh yesss! One more very important thing that rubbed me the wrong way. He almost didn't share a very big part of his past life with her. It was her psychic abilities/dreams that it was revealed. If it wasn't there he would have never told her(?) pff.

I’m was so relived that I loved this book!!
Tiana laveen wrote one of my favourite duet. Recently I read Guner, another duet written by her, but unfortunately didn’t vibe with it, didn’t connect to the characters and the story.
I read this book into the late hours of night knowing I need to rise up for work only because I couldn’t put it down. Right from the beginning I was invested in the romance of Andrea and Angelo and the story.
I know a book is good for me When I’m all shivers and goosebumps ☺️

I really enjoyed this book. Everything about it kept me wanting more it was hard putting it down because it was never a dull moment. It was a great distraction from homework and work. I also love the music directory the author has at the end of the book sometimes I find music I did not know about or have not heard in a long time.

Some scene or conversation in the book that has you saying "hey, I get that!" Keep speaking your truth and staying real. Always a pleasure. Happy writing!

I loved every bit of this book. I was first intrigued trying to figure out how you would turn this sinner into a "saint." Then I wondered how you Angelo and Andrea love story would unfold. They appeared to be such opposites. But, you pulled it off. They are such layered characters and you plumbed all the depths so we could love them as much as you clearly did. Thank you, Ms Laveen for another win!

Take a wild walk through the love journey of Andrea and Angelo. Be enamored with their vast differences and the power of opposites attract. Juicy and twisted from start to finish. Hitman and fortune teller. A match made in their own version of heaven. This author writes in pure poetry that never ceases to take my breath away. Bravo for a job excellently done, yet again!

I don't write reviews but Queen Tiana done her thing, she had me calling in sick to finish her book. I buy her books when they are released and when I have a free time I read. This book is the s$&t. Angelo and Andrea had mad chemistry. The music was from the best era every. I loved that she has play list with her novels.Thank you Ms. Laveen. I wish I could give you ten stars ✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅

Soooooo good!
Ms. Laveen has struck again! Her innate ability to weave stories of the most unlikely couples. This tale had all me rooting for Angelo and his magic woman. I loved his realness. How each of them surrendered to their vulnerability and opened themselves to explore more. This time period was my favorite and the music sent me back. This book was everything!

Wicked Casper🔥
Wow! Angelo was everything, I was not mad one bit that he was killin folks everwhere haha! He loved him some Andrea, there is nothing better than a bad boy breakdown. These characters were made only for eachother, Andrea had no fear in her heart of Angelo. Because she already knew he was it. Ms. Laveen has done it again, great book.

Always worth my time!
I am in awe of Tiana's imagination. As usual, the story was intriguing, action packed and thought provoking. The characters and the story captured my imagination and sense of mystery. A very entertaining read!

A beautiful story for all to enjoy. The love they have for each other is magical, scary and everlasting. Again Tiana has woven another heart wrenching drama filled slice of life.

Did not disappoint
I love this author and the stories she weaves. Some of her characters have been from ordinary walks of life and some supernatural (vampire book), but regardless of the character you fall in love. Andrea and Casper were the best!!!!

No Love for the Wicked
Love is meant for everyone because it was predestined but it is up to us to see the soul of a person and not only the outer shell.
Absolutely mesmerizing with the characters and entanglements leaping from the pages to give the reader(s) an intimate reel.

Everyone needs an Angelo in their life
Great read. It had everything from a great storyline, to humour, to great passion, and great characters. I always enjoy reading Tiana Laveen’s books and will look forward to the next one.
