Forces of magic converge, placing the Eight Wizardoms on the brink of devastation. The fate of the world hinges on a squad of misfit heroes caught in this conflict.
From Objects of Power, Fate of Wizardoms book four:
A ruthless wizard lord conquers a neighboring wizardom, increasing his magic far beyond mere mortals. The more power he gains, the more he craves.
While nations war against one another, the Dark Lord rises. An army of monsters invades, sending the world toward the brink of doom.
A team of misfits find themselves the fulcrum point of destiny, their world teetering upon their actions, certain to crumble should they fail. Led by cryptic passages from a dark prophecy, these heroes set off on two separate quests.
One expedition leads to the Enchanter's Isle, rumored to hide a mysterious object known as the Band of Amalgamation. The other involves the Arc of Radiance, a sacred object protected by a lost race of elves.
What powers might these two enchanted relics unlock? Can they be recovered before it is too late?
I love fantasy, adventure, and magic. More than that, I adore my readers.
My books are written to entertain -- fantasy adventures filled with compelling characters, spectacular magic, thrilling action, constant intrigue, and a sense of discovery. I equate them to the "Marvel Movie" version of fiction, intended to be a fun escape.
I would love to have you join me and my quirky characters for one outrageous adventure after another. With over a million published words, my author journey has just begun.
Best wishes, Jeff

This series is just so much fun to read. It has a wide variety of characters and each of them have a unique purpose in the story. There is also a lot of snarky humor which I LOVED. The interactions between characters is hilarious. This series will keep you turning pages for sure.
Book 4 Objects of Power An Evil Wizard Lord wants to increase his power so he takes over a neighboring wizardom. As his power grows, he craves more and will stop at nothing to achieve his goal. Meanwhile our group gets divided 2, each trying to retrieve a magical item because of a dark prophecy. There is also a swarm of monsters attacking with The Demon Lord accompanying them. If the group fails then all will perish. Their journey is action packed to keep you guessing, Book 5 Rise of a Wizard Queen This one was a great surprise. With wizard lords ruling the wizardoms, when a Queen rises after acquiring a crystal throne all were shocked. Wizard Queens are forbidden and not all will be supportive. As her army grows and the groups become intertwined the story gets kicked into high gear. Men and Wizards will have a fight on their hands if the growing herd of monster's attack. Book 6 A Contest of Gods As our group approaches the final epic battle, they must help the new Queen claim all eight wizardoms so she can defeat the Dark Demon Lord that is coming. The Demon Lord is so powerful that they don't know if he can be defeated. All secrets are out in the open and the results will blow your mind. This is one of the best series I have ever read. I can't wait for more. I love these characters and highly recommend to anyone,
I cried a lot, I didn’t expect the plot twists. I cried for the pain of those characters that I’ve learned to love from the beginning. But I cried more for those characters, least I expected, who’d given everything at the end.
What a wonderful series of books! It moves furiously from beginning to end, and brings you along for the ride. Such a wonderful cast of characters to cheer for. I can't wait for the sequel series!!
By the time my Fate of Wizardoms series ended, world-altering events had taken place. Some characters died, while others stood triumphant. The events concluding the story were sure to greatly impact the Eight Wizardoms, which offered a wonderful platform for a new tale in the same world. At the same time, I was unwilling to say goodbye to the characters I had grown to love (or hate). Thus, I felt compelled to craft a sequel series. Thankfully, my readers wanted more as well.
Readers can expect more action, intrigue, humor, magic, and twists as the Eight Wizardoms draw toward a spectacular, yet devastating, end. New characters join beloved ones from the prior series. If you are wondering: Yes, I do love witty banter (especially between couples), and I find it impossible not to include a solid dose of snark.
As of this writing, God King Rising is available for preorder and will soon be in the hands of eager readers. Five more books will follow, concluding the series by the end of 2021. I hope you will join me for this thrilling adventure.
It was an awesome adventure. I cried a lot during the farewell at the end of Temple of the Oracle, first box set and also my heart goes out to Rhoa And Rawk. It's heartbreaking. It's also amazing, the events during the confrontation with Urvadan weren't expected but it was beautiful to read.
Though I knew Salvon was Vandasal fairly early in the books, there were some very well crafted characters. A fabulous story of good vs evil, with the lines blurred. Great job.
This series was so awesome. I loved all the characters and disliked some. The adventures were nail biting at times. There were both happy and sad moments. I highly recommended this series.
The banter between the characters was well written and it provided a link between the reader and characters. Jace is still my favorite. His humor and antics kept the story from being dull and gloomy. The story had ups and downs, along with losses. There was love and heartache. The ending was great, but then at the end there was foreshadowing that the journey was not over. Luckily the author did not leave it open ended without possible resolution. The author will be writing a spinoff, which i am looking forward to.
I think the second half was even better than the first but that may be because I was already attached to the characters. It was an extremely enjoyable read and kept momentum throughout.
A great conclusion! The characters are believable and complex and everything comes together. I was weepy in places, cheering in others. All in all, a highly recommended read, well worth getting
Each character is unique and a joy to follow on their set path. It's well written, keeping a great pace while including enough detail to bring the character's and action to life off of the page. Great twists and a book I found hard to put down.
This series of books tell a wonderful story of an epic fantasy adventure that was hard to put down. I will now move on to the next part of this tale in "The Fall of the Wizardoms"
What a journey! Jeff Kohanek brings us an epic finish to an equally epic tale!
The Fate of Wizardoms series, not in the least throughout the last 3 volumes, is jam-packed with unexpected twists, bloody battles, destructive magic, mythical creatures, and last but not least - a showdown of GODS!
As our heroes gather to save the world, their pasts are revealed, along with an intricate web of events weaved throughout history, not in the least over the course of the 6 books. With great world-building, fantastic characters, edge-of-the-seat action, sweet romance, unbreakable friendships, hilarious banter, and a thumping climax; this series has it all!
But as the story begins to reach its end, it is not for the faint of heart. It is heartbreaking as well as it is entertaining, making one just as likely to cry as one might laugh. So be warned!
I absolutely loved this story, from start to finish, and it offered a most satisfying ending! I cannot recommend it enough!
Note: I listened to the audiobooks narrated by Travis Baldree. They are all high-quality productions and truly bring the story and its characters to life. I highly recommend this means of enjoying Fate of Wizardoms!
Good series but it took a bit to grab me. At chapter 12 "Storytelling", i was hooked. I don't like that there's so much sex or implied sex in the book though. It has no place in epic fantasy in my personal opinion. That was the only thing bothersome and also, why is Narine always in a dress? U don't wear dresses to climb mountains and fight goblins. Give that girl some pants please. Got so tired of hearing about "Narine's dress". Overall, i enjoyed the series and characters. Will read the next series and see what becomes of the Wizardoms.
I almost always give this author's work a 5* rating and would have for this series but, while I enjoyed the overall series, it was so complex that I found it difficult to keep track of who all the characters were, particularly some of the secondary characters who made infrequent appearances. That being said, I would recommend this series to anyone who enjoys this type of book.
I have submitted reviews for each title contained within this series set box after listening to the audiobook of this title. Those reviews can be found on the individual title's pages.
I found this series interesting because parts of it reminded me of stories I've read by, Eddings, Tolkien, Jordan! But it did carry it's own story so I would recommend it.
Loved the different characters and interactions. Was easy to follow the different quests. Also being brought together at the end made it feel complete. Interested to see where the future takes some of the characters in a continuation.
