Ms. Hare thinks so and she loves to share with her farm friends! Giving to others and showing kindness is great.
But there’s a tiny problem...
Ms. Hare forgets that she must take care of herself, too.
Once she has a good look in the mirror and realizes what she has done…she remembers the importance of self-care.
Her farm friends come together to help make things right.
Grab this adorable tale of friendship and self-care. Plants seeds for future generations to teach them you can’t pour from an empty cup. When children practice self-love, they will grow up to be the change we need in this world.
A perfect book to add to any elementary teachers' classroom collections. Recommended for boys and girls ages 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12.
This book had the cutest illustrations and also came with an important lesson about not using animals for their fur and how you shouldn't be harm animals. Highly recommend for any parent who wants to teach your children about how harming animals isn't the answer.
This is a lovely story about a giving bunny. She tries to help her friends by lending them some of her fur. Before long she realizes she has none for herself. The author explains in the back of the book this is a real problem that needs to be changed.
Farm. The mouse was the 1st to notice the snow. The rooster noticed it also. Ms. Hare was ready to go out & play in the snow with the rest of the animals. The goat, turkey & mouse wondered how they were going to stay warm if he went out to play in the snow.

An awesome book cover, great hand-drawn colored pictures, charming illustrations & proper font & writing style. A very professionally written children’s (preschool/elementary age) farm animals storybook. It was quite easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters, settings, etc. to keep track of. This could also make another great children’s farm animals movie, an animated cartoon, or better yet a mini-TV series. There is no doubt in my mind this is an extremely easy rating of 5 stars.

This is a great book with a great message. It is a lovely story that teaches about self care for young children. Becky Cummings has shown through the animals the importance of sharing and giving and balancing it with caring and loving themselves. Animals 🐄 woke up with joy because the brown dirt was filled with snow❄. The mouse 🐀 woke Rooster 🐓 to look at the snow. Rooster 🐓 warned the animals 🐖 about the cold. Ms Hare 🐇 had a warm coat and could go out into the snow. How about the other animals 🐁? How would they be able to play in the snow? This wonderful book will show you how.
This book was a delightful story with beautiful artwork and an important moral. Beyond the author's appeal to not harm animals at the end of the story, this tale is about an issue that many kind-hearted people face - giving too much of yourself sometimes. This is a valid lesson children should learn. It is okay to be kind and share, but there comes a point when you can give too much, I think. When it becomes detrimental to your own health or well-being, giving has to come to an end. Thankfully, this tale ends on a positive note as Ms. Hare's friends realize their own mistake of asking too much of their friend.
What a sweet and inspiring story of giving and sharing. The silly illustrations will leave your children smiling from ear to ear! Kind-hearted Ms. Hare gives so much to her farm friends, but in the end she realizes she has nothing left to care for herself. You’ll have to find out what her friends do to save Ms. Hare and make her feel loved and special too. Powerful message and endearing friendships made in this sweet story. Kids will want to read this over and over again. Highly recommend!
Beautiful illustrations and a fun take on what it means to respect others.
This simple story is a great way to open conversation about what it means to respect yourself as well as nature. The book is light and fun but can also help kids understand that certain resources are finite. The illustrations are lovely and beautifully done!
A great children’s book for every animal rights advocate and activist. Being aware of the material and products we’re using is important to make the right decisions. Really happy I found this book. Also, I found it really easy to read with the kids on kindle because the size popped up perfectly.
Becky has done it again with this great message about sharing
I love this adorable story. It’s a message of sharing that’s different than other similar stories. Love the soft and sweet illustrations too. Highly recommend!
Adorable story about learning that it’s okay to say no! My boys laughed out loud at poor Rabbit, but were thrilled to see it all come out well in the end. This one will be read a lot!
I enjoyed reading this book; it was fun and humorous, but it also presented a great lesson. Giving is an admirable trait but one must also leave some for her or himself. The illustrations are attractive and colorful!
This is a great message that is rarely discussed -only share what you can afford to give. I am glad MS.Hares friends rallied.I was getting worried. It also raises awareness of animal cruelty. A wonderful read for kids that is not your same old same old.Dont miss it!Barbara Glazier-Robinson
I loved this book, it’s very relatable to children and the illustrations are so cute. The idea of sharing and sharing back makes for a great story. I recommend this book.
I can't remember if I've reviewed this already. I loved the picture, they're absolutely beautiful. The work is ok, not a major breakthrough story like, but nice. I'd give it to my students and nephew without issue
The farm animals wake up excited to see a lot of snow. Mouse told rooster to tell all of the farm animals to dress warmly so they could play safely in the snow. Ms. Hare declared that she was ready to play in the snow because her fur would keep her warm. The other farm animals realized they didn't have the same fur to keep them warm in the snow. So, they asked Ms. Hare if they could cut or shave some of her hair to make something warm for each of them, to keep them warm while they play in the snow. What do you think Ms. Hare did?
Furthermore, this book highlights a real problem in the world. People breed animals just so they can wear their warm fur. The author suggests that when we purchase items we should ask if any animal was harmed in the process of making the item. If the answer is yes then we should pick an alternative so that no animals get hurt.
Kids will enjoy this cute friendship story about a rabbit, Ms. Hare, who shares her fur with all the farm animals so they will keep warm during the winter months. Children will love the outcome of the story and will learn how important it is to take care of themselves.
