You are cordially invited to embark upon a journey between the worlds, to step through the Faerie Portal and into the realms of Faerie. Here you will meet many magical and elemental beings, connect with your own Faerie Guides and explore a path of enchantment, healing, remembering, deep wisdom and of course, more than a little dose of humour and mischief! Faeries are the Wild Heart of Nature. The word 'Faerie' is really an umbrella term for the myriad of magical beings who exist all around us, and yet just out of sight. In this book we will discover noble Faerie Queens & Kings, wild Pixies, soulful Elves, Elemental beings, Faeries of Myth & Legend, Nature Spirits and much, much more. This book is a practical and magical companion, an enchanted guide to the Faerie Realm. It will walk you through the Wheel of the Faerie Year with simple activities, creative projects, meditations and gentle ritual. Within these pages you will meet the Faeries who dwell at the bottom of your garden, the guardians of sacred sites, as well as your very own tribe of Faerie Guides! Even if you are not yet a fully-fledged 'Faerie Believer', a walk in the park will never be the same once you have been touched by the wild wisdom of Faerie.
I love all things Faeries. In this new book by Kac Young, she shares beautiful sweet and often very funny faery stories. I could read them forever. I love to create special faerie gardens in my yard and I learned new and exciting ideas in this book to bring even more faeries to my home. I adored this book and everything she has to offer.
This was a fun read on a subject I have yet to delve into fully so it was a sort of introductory for me. Overall I like the information that was given but I something about didn't connect with me and felt off.
I'm a huge fan of the fae, and I loved reading this book. It was so pretty as well. Really informative, and based on the author's experiences, it was very interesting. Great for beginners and long standing followers. Gorgeous edition to the book shelves.
DNF I think after reading more than half that I can write a review. The cultural appropriation was very glaring as was her attitude to Fairies in general.
