Sin has a way of rearing its ugly head, even in the midst of what we think are blessings. Ava knew all about it. One trip to her old church changed the path of her future after she encounters the likes of Pastor Darren Jackson, a prominent pastor from Florida. During the three months of their situationship, Ava finds out that not everybody who bears a yolk around their necks truly walk with God. He left her desolate and without answers, but one more visit to her old church brings about an unexpected reunion. This brief encounter is steamy, confusing, yet full of passion. In Sacred Sin, Racq Symphony takes her readers on a world wind of a journey to the South, Alabama to be exact. She tells the story of a woman who entrusted a man with the contents of her heart, only to be manipulated and lied to with warrantless apologies in the end.
Wow. Ava called it before she got entangled. She should have known the minute he pulled out the green that he wasn't about anything. My heart ached for her, even though she moved too fast. No one deserves that. I know this is a short story, but I sure did want more. Not mad at the author for making me create an ending.
This book pissed me off so bad ! I was just as confused on page 30 as I was on page 1. I was all for the church setting but the rest of this… yea they could’ve kept it in the membrane. Who told the lie on Church Girl? Who was pastor marrying? Why was he so freaking rude to her when he clearly didn’t want a relationship in the beginning….
