Kipexo is a battle-wounded commander just trying to return to active duty. To get him back to the front lines faster, his friends suggest he adopt an Earthling, a rescued human from the dying planet Earth. He thought he’d be getting a simple servant ready and willing to lend a helping hand, but from the day Ethan arrives, it becomes clear Kipexo got a whole lot more than he bargained for.

Ethan doesn’t know a word of Kipexo’s language, can’t follow even simple instructions, and seems bent on disobeying his new master at every turn. As Kipexo struggles to tame his Earthling, he’s torn between the urge to punish Ethan and the desire to hold him close. When he learns Ethan has some scars of his own, Kipexo wonders if he should find the human a more suitable master or simply give in to temptation and take Ethan to bed.

This book is part of a series that should be read in order.

So this was bad... 🥲 This book has issues such as:

1. Worldbuilding, there wasn't any. They are supposed to be in an alien world but everything is very human, they have apartments, houses, chairs, kitchen, rooms etc. Also, we are always in the pov of the alien so I never got a clear picture of what they look like, I know they have 4 arms, are dark and have plates... That's it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

2. Development, it wasn't that bad but it was not good either, it did make sense but I will forget it real quick.

3. The kink, yep the aliens have the boom shaka laka only with kink, they don't do vanilla and even though it was a nice try, it was a very human type of kink and not impressive at all. HELLO!!! You have aliens!!! Go crazy!! 🤷🏻‍♀️

4. The "case" was interesting enough, this was actually what made me think of giving it 3 stars because it seemed plausible and it can go to good places but then we had...

5. The ending, it's a story to be continued I hope, I'm actually not sure because the story just was cut abruptly. 🤷🏻‍♀️

So it was a very 🤷🏻‍♀️ book. 🤭

“Have you ever wished you had an extra pair of hands around the house? A nanny? A cook? Perhaps just a companion? Earthlings can fill nearly any role, and they serve us loyally in return for a new start here on Raug.

Should’ve known all I needed to cure a slump was a nice alien romance.
This was fantastic — a dominant but caring alien, a sweet if not a bit broken human, an intriguing plot AND it’s a trilogy? Mx. Alex where have you been my whole life?

“You’re not going anywhere,” he whispered. “You’re mine. Forever.”

Despite the ‘aliens adopt humans as servants’ premise and a bit of a rough start for our poor baby Ethan, Kipexo turns into the gentlest of aliens, all caring and doting, protective of his sweet earthling.
I, of course, absolutely fell in love with Ethan and hope we get a bit of his pov in the next installments. I’m so curious to know what he really thinks of this whole situation.
The spice was good, but maybe a bit repetitive towards the end. Hoping that the next installments bring a bit more fun to the sheets.

“There is no lock on my boy’s collar,” Kipexo said as he clicked the medallion together at the base of Ethan’s throat. “He is not mine by force. He is mine by choice. His choice. Until the day he says ‘stop’.”
“Never,” Ethan said, his eyes welling with tears.

I am mostly curious about the political intrigue sub-plot and the conspiracy surrounding the humans . I’m dying to know how it’s all gonna turn out, so you bet your sweet cheeks this is gonna be this weeks fixation.
‘Hi Boss, yeah I was calling to see if I can have the weekend off? Well see, I just found this awesome series and….’

He wasn’t a master or a Commander. No. He was a denmate, a partner, and a keeper to this soft, gentle soul who’d just bared his heart to him.

Hmmm nope I don’t think I liked this. Honestly the relationship was a bit too easy for me like we clear up the language barrier pretty quick and then we are sucking and fucking before you know it. The plot was honestly kinda vague and confusing and didn’t convince me to care enough about it to continue. Personally I think you need to have like idk more than the most basic literary skills to be able to pull of the complexity of forced alien indentured servitude turned loving relationship because low key this was just not trying hard enough and skipped right to the BDSM dynamics without even trying to discuss any of the very complex aspects of the situation. I also did a bit of snooping and apparently this becomes poly in the third book with a random female side character and don’t get me wrong I love a good poly relationship but firstly I signed up for m/m don’t jump scare me like that and also these two spent so much time with love proclamations and all that you’re my one and only talk that I can’t imagine adding others into their relationship late in the third and final book without just pissing me off. Big yikes all around here folks 🫡

OMG I loved this book! Totally blew me away from what I was expecting.

Kipexo is a highly respected commander, and is recovering from a major injury and past trauma. On his planet, humans are paired with people to serve as house servants, assistants, for both mundane chores or much more personal reasons. Kipexo reluctantly takes on a human - Ethan, and his world is changed forever.

I absolutely loved this. This story is told all from Kipexo's POV, but we definitely learn so much about Ethan and also how humans are REALLY being treated through the story. It's a well-paced build to some major (if not unsurprising) revelations about what's really going on with humans, which will undoubtedly be a major part of the next story.

I LOVED Ethan and Kipexo together - despite language barriers, Kipexo is insistent on consensual kink, and I loved that he demanded that and also listened to Ethan at all times. I loved the slow build of trust and communication between the two, and how they just made things work for their situation and for them. OMG I loved them!

PLEASE get book 2 out sooner rather than later! Which it does end with things being OK for Kipexo and Ethan specifically, there are MANY unanswered questions and I want more!!

DNF @75%

100% not what I expected. The blurb mentioned the alien wanting to take “Ethan to bed” but, well damn. That question was answered. He takes him to bed 99.9% of the time, y’all!!

This is, as far as I reached, 75% porn with the most minuscule amount of plot thrown in there haphazardly.

Seriously. This is just porn. What even is the plot anymore. What plot? This is the alien character complaining about his knee > porn > mention of Ethan being deaf > porn > Ethan has a panic attack > porn > the alien is sad and goes to his doctor > porn > porn > porn.

If there was even a plot, I don’t care for it anymore.

Also.... the typos. Listen, I am not one to point out typos because God knows how many I have written so far but then again, I am not selling you any books.

So far, 75%, I have found 3 typos:

“Why have you not mating in several solar cycles?”

“Is this it?” he asked. “You’re correctional device?”

“Vesvon sighed. “Kipexo, you know you’re chances of—”

And God knows what else is there after 75%. It’s wild.
This book most definitely has no proof reader or they really didn’t care.

Recommendations: Get a proof reader if you don’t have one and if you do have one, fire them and get a good one.
Tone down the porn if you want to write a book with an actual plot. The porn is drowning the plot. If you want to just have sex scene after sex scene then just write an erotica book. We don’t expect a plot with erotica books, most of the time.

Oh, wow...okay, maybe I'm in the minority here, but I think I skipped half this book.

I'm not much into BDSM and try to steer clear of it most of the time, but with all the reviews I was going to give it the old college try. And honestly, it didn't bother me here. That wasn't my issue. It was all the sex. Yes, I said that. It had way too much sex. There was a fairly good plot buried under there somewhere, but I felt like I had to dig through the sex to find it. I skipped pages and pages, skimming until they finished a scene. I know it's just me, but I need more relationship development. Sex does not equate to a romantic relationship.

I enjoyed how Kipexo changed his view of humans and how he treated Ethan (though the one incident in the beginning pissed me off, not gonna lie. I don't like to see one mc hit another even if I understand it was from lack of communication.)

Now I have to decide if I want to continue the series to find out what happens or just forget it. After reading reviews for the next one, it's not looking favorable.

I disliked this. There's a lack of concern for consent (slave / master) and the power balance. This is an alien-run society which euthanises difficult humans, so even if a single master appears kind, it's impossible for proper consent to be given.

World-building unsatisfactory - feels just like C21st Earth, only with four-armed armoured-plated aliens in charge.

Over-arching plot remains unresolved within this book. Won't be looking out more work by this author, though.

Pretty good but I can't believe it ends on a cliffie!!!

I liked Kipexo but his people kind of suck. They are way to focused on BDSM.

I wanted more from Ethan, maybe some parts in his POV would of been nice. I wanted to get his impression of what Kipexo looks like.

On to the next one.

i’ll start with what i liked because that’s a very short list.
the writing flowed well and it was good tbh.
i liked that the whole book is by the alien’s POV.
that’s it.

now, the real list. what i didn’t like:
-the world building isn’t done well at all. i barely know these aliens after a whole book;
-the aliens are humans but bigger, with four arms and plates. i’m not minimizing, i swear that’s all we know about them;
-the alien culture is human culture BUT they use synonyms. groundbreaking;
-everything is simply not explained well. the fun part of this books is actually getting to know those aliens but we basically skipped that;
-i honestly prefer a softer, more caring type of BDSM. mind you, they use humans as servants in this book and when you add all those “hard” scenes it honestly doesn’t sit right with me;
-i can’t believe that i pushed through a whole ass book and i still haven’t understood anything AND the book ends on a cliffhanger. that’s a crime against martina.
-this is filled with useless sex scenes but no penetrative sex. i feel robbed.

i will absolutely NOT read the next one.

Simple MM Sci-Fi Romance with BDSM

2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣4️⃣
In 2021, the series was incomplete. After the third book's release in 2024, I restarted to refresh my memory before reading the final book, which wraps up the 'saving the humans' plot—my favorite part.

🚫 I skipped the series' many explicit BDSM scenes.

Edited to Add: I didn't read book three after learning Grolpre (female) and Sam (nonbinary) were added to the MC's relationship, creating a foursome. No thanks!

📕 ABOUT THE BOOK: (spoilers hidden)

The Raugons are aliens from the planet Raug. They have four arms, fangs, and bony plates, with fur on their abdomens. Despite these traits, they behave, speak, and live like humans.

Kipexo, a Raugon military commander, is on medical leave due to severe injuries from a failed mission. He struggles with survivor's guilt after losing all his men. Living in pain, he neglects his health and the upkeep of his home.

Dr. Grolpre is Kipexo's therapist, who has to clear him as fit for duty.

The false story told is that Earth is dying from neglect. The Human Rescue and Rehoming Association (HRRA) rescues humans, bringing them to Raug for adoption for a fee. The humans are then used as servants, pets, or sex slaves, with no rights. Those who refuse to acclimate are euthanized.

Chief Veil Vesvon and his wife, Cellana are Kipexo's good friends. They adopted a human named Darling (Sara) and persuade Kipexo to adopt one to help him.

Kipexo adopts Ethan (22), who’s on his third home and at risk of euthanasia due to negative behavior. It’s shocking that an advanced species didn’t perform a full medical exam and discover that Ethan is .

▪️ Kipexo is cruel to Ethan before discovering his disability.
▪️ The MCs become Master/Sir and boy. Ethan is being prepared for anal sex. They become .

▪️ Mysterious enzymes are healing Kipexo's injuries.

▪️ Ethan has surgery to . Dr. Vroft, his doctor, becomes an ally.

▪️Vesvon turns bad. He asks to use Ethan to breed Sara, but Kipexo refuses. During a dinner at Vesvon’s house, an incident reveals Sara is . Kipexo ends his friendship with them, and Vesvon becomes a threat.

▪️ Dr. Grolpre and Dr. Vroft work together to uncover the horrible truth about humans.

▪️ The Ending:

The story is a very simple one. There is no world-building or depth, and the descriptions are minimal. The aliens could've easily been humans, because other than their brief descriptions, there's nothing "alien" about them.

The romance is insta-love, with several sex scenes involving BDSM. Since I'm long over my BDSM phase, I didn't enjoy those scenes. I skimmed them to get back to the plot thread involving the humans, and what was really happening to them. That was the most interesting to me, and why I finished the book.

Ethan being , was intriguing as well. Even though it was difficult to believe they didn't know, not until Kipexo figured it out.

The relationship between Ethan and Kipexo was sweet, and I liked how they took care of each other. But the erotic sex scenes were too long and felt like half of the book.

Book two is sure to be another quick & easy read, but hopefully one with fewer sex scenes.

The Raugon are a species of four-armed, armor-plated aliens from the planet Raug that have recently begun rescuing humans from a dying earth, placing them in Raugon homes to work and live as companions and servants. But are these aliens really their saviors, or captors? And are their humans truly companions, or slaves? These are some of the questions asked by Mx. Alex’s Rescue.

Our point-of-view character is Kipexo, a member of the aforementioned Raugon and a battle-wounded soldier recently removed from active duty. Unable to fully care for himself due to his leg injury, he is encouraged to adopt one a human to assist him around the house, and is paired with our other main character, Ethan. Though the two are bristly at first, they soon learn they have more in common than they realize. Without revealing any spoilers, I want to applaud Alex for the representation these characters bring to the genre.

One thing I will say that I liked right off the bat is that the story is told from the perspective of the dominant character, Kipexo, rather than the submissive, Ethan. This is not all that common in the romance and erotica genres, and as a dominant myself, is one I enjoyed connecting and identifying with. The author, Mx. Alex is also a dominant, and I really appreciated being able to read the story through their lens.

The erotica is well written and builds up nicely over the course of the book. As all Raugon prefer their sex kinky, so are all our sex scenes. The author goes above and beyond to make consent between the two characters clear, by having Kipexo explain safewords and other BDSM best practices before each scene. At times this did seem to almost make the scenes drag a bit, having to re-establish consent at the start each time, but I understand the importance of showing this to the audience.

I did feel like there was something of a missed opportunity in the story. I am not in any way trying to imply that things are not fully consensual between Kipexo and Ethan. However, were this scenario real, then it truly could not be consensual. When Kipexo meets Ethan, he has been beaten and abused at his previous Raugon homes, and we are told a much worse fate could await him should things continue to go poorly. Though I do not doubt Kipexo’s intentions for a second, I could not shake the idea that as Ethan does not know or fully trust Kipexo, he could have only agreed out of fear of reprisal. I would have appreciated the two characters talking about this at some point, or at least Kipexo acknowledging it, if only just to put some of the audience’s minds at ease.

Sadly one, another thing that was also lacking in the story was worldbuilding. For a sci-fi novel, I had hoped for a bit more description of the settings and the characters, ways to show the differences between life on Raug and Earth. We do get nice details on what our characters look like, as well as their feathery pet Dex, but other than that, things are described in a very human fashion, if at all. Because of that and the way human names are used for everything, it left me painting a mental picture of essentially a place just like earth, but with aliens and spaceships.

While the major focus of the story is obviously on the developing relationship of our main characters, there is also a fully developed plotline running throughout the book. I love when my porn comes with a good story, and I was happy when my feelings that there was something deeper going on beneath the surface at the start paid off. The book does end on something of a cliffhanger; though we gain the answers to many of our questions, there are still a few revelations dangled just out of reach at the end. The sequel, Surrender, is already out, and I am looking forward to reading more. Thank you, Mx. Alex!

This is one of those books that I can't really pin point exactly what I love about it. All I know is that I read one chapter, then I went to read another, then another, and another. Before I know it, the day has gone by and I have devoured the book!

Rescue is an easy-to-read MM book. There isn't much room for confusion or complicated plotline. The romance is breezy, all the drama and angst get solved through effective communication which I always enjoy in my romance books. With that said, I still found the story to be interesting and engaging, on top of all the steamy scenes. Speaking of which, the steamy scenes are written quite well in my opinion. I didn't skim through any of them.

It seems like most of the negative reviews think there's too much sex in this book. Heh... If only there was an easy way for me to search Goodreads specifically for these kinds of bad reviews. I wouldn't have to take nearly as long to pick out a book!

“There is no lock on my boy’s collar,” Kipexo said as he clicked the medallion together at the base of Ethan’s throat. “He is not mine by force. He is mine by choice. His choice. Until the day he says ‘stop.’”

I. Loved. This. Book.

Commander Kipexo has recently been injured while in battle so with apprehension he decides it’s time to adopt a human in order to help him do things around the house he simply can’t. Yeah you heard that right. Adopt a human. This planet has saved Earth and it’s people and in return the humans have agreed to be “adopted” and serve as servants, mates, sexual partners, companions, etc. It seems to differ from house to house. Humans are there to be whatever their master needs. What seems to be a beneficial agreement between alien and earthling slowly starts unraveling into something much much darker.

Ethan broke my damn heart. I totally understood Kipexo’s need to care for him because all I wanted to do was surround him with love and hugs and affection. The communication between the two is rocky at first due to Kipexo not realizing Ethan is deaf. After this fact comes to light, the two start talking and have such a fast and tight bond built on pure trust. It was beautiful to read and made me turn into a pile of goo multiple times.

“You’re not going anywhere,” he whispered. “You’re mine. Forever.”

The one thing I was obsessed with was the way the author was able to very subtly make the reader aware that something isn’t quite right here in this supposed utopia of earthlings and aliens. There is something dark under the surface and the anticipation and uneasiness just builds and builds until it explodes into a nightmare. I can’t wait to read the next one because I need to know what’s going to happen to Ethan, Kipexo, and this world.

TWs: self harm, loss of a sibling, past physical abuse, survivor’s guilt, PTSD/panic attacks, kidnapping, hints of horrible abuse

What to expect:
Alien MMC who is a consent king
Human MMC
Language barrier
Disability rep
Praise
“Who hurt you?”
Size difference
Hand necklace
Bondage
“Sir”
Spanking

Cool premise and great main characters. Loved the twist as to why Ethan was considered “disobedient”. I wish we got even more description of what the aliens looked like, and I didn’t realize it would be so BDSM heavy. (Not a deal breaker, just sometimes not what I’m in the mood for.) Overall a great read.

Well, this was a fun story, and a strong start to a promising series. There’s science fiction, BDSM elements, hurt/comfort, characters with disabilities and enemies to lovers. There’s a lot going on, but somehow it all merges to bring about a cohesive, enjoyable novel with likeable characters.

Thank goodness Kipexo, the alien from the planet Raug, isn’t the eponymous ‘handsome alien who is just like a human – but blue.’ He thinks like an alien and looks like one, with four arms and scaly skin, yet somehow manages to be a sympathetic character as well as a viable love interest.

Ethan is the human supposedly rescued from a dying Planet Earth, but as the story goes on, there seems to be a sinister element creeping into the Raugons’ altruistic act of mercy. I’m sensing some foreshadowing here, not least in the driveway made of a curious bone-like gravel, and the wealthy Raug residents using their human nanny as a form of trophy and sex toy. Some really dark themes seem to be waiting in the wings, and I for one really want to find out what happens in the next book.

Finally, kudos to the author for not “fixing” Ethan’s hearing loss with “alien superior technology,” to enable the characters to communicate in a “normal” way, but enabling him to use his sign language to communicate with his human friends. And for making Ethan and Kipexo’s relationship one based on tenderness and respect, after the initial awkwardness. It’s an unusual love story but one I could totally buy into.

I really liked this book. I know some of the reviews were disappointed with lack of world-building but knowing one of the POVs is a human who was enslaved and didn't have much chance to explore the world kind of built on his storyline for me. It made it believable. The other POV is an alien who we know off the bat doesn't like to go anywhere, so the limited world-building made sense, in my opinion. This story ends on a cliffhanger, but I like that. There was a lot of character and relationship building in this book so I feel like the second installment will be a good jump off into the world. I read it all in one sitting. Couldn't put it down.

Nice enough but for me it's a "Meh".

Fact is, I could have easily done without the BDSM (light or not, it's just not my thing) and sadly a lot of this story evolved around sex (sex toys, ropes etc...). The alien had very human kinks... Which was disappointing honestly... It's sci-fi, we have aliens : go crazy, be original... Here it was just like reading a story about a Dom and his boy/sub... Again... Not my thing.

I feel like this story had real potential, the plot evolving around "saving the humans" could have easily been put forward and become the leading plot in this story but it wasn't the case. It was barely in the background, and it's a shame.

In the end, it was almost like reading a contemporary romance with BDSM... A bit boring which is sad because, again, there was potential for a real romance with a true plot full of intrigue, betrayal and lies. But the author didn't take advantage of it.

I'm unsure if it will become a series... I might read the second book (and skipping all the sex scenes) just to see how things will evolve with everything that has been discovered about the "saving humans" ploy. In this book it ends a bit on a cliffhanger with the intrigue and we're unsure how the whole thing will evolve once the truth is out.

So yeah... I was left unsatisfied :/
I would recommend this book to those who enjoy stories with BDSM in it and a sub/Dom type relationship. As for the romance... Just like the story : it's a Meh for me

This book kind of left a bad taste in my mouth. I did not like Kipexo (main alien character) from the beginning, and my first impression never really recovered. The whole book is from his pov. I hated how quick to be violent he was. When Ethan “disobeyed” him in the beginning, he was real quick to hit or hurt him to get him to listen. But then was so mad when he found out that the previous owner hit him as well? Like, what a hypocrite! And then he kept trying to make it clear to Ethan that he was NOT a slave…who he hired to work for him to do all his house work…without pay or choice…who he at first abused for not obeying orders.

I don’t like bullies and that’s what I feel Kipexo was, even if they claim to have fallen in love, I don’t see it. I just felt for poor Ethan falling for the first person to show him even a tiny bit of kindness. He deserved better. Disappointed in this one.

I'm normally a slow reader, but I devoured this book in two sittings. There is a lot to love! A gentle giant of an alien Dominant, a sweet, misunderstood submissive human, and a healthy dose of kinky, sexy, consensual BDSM! I was afraid that Kipexo and Ethan's relationship had the trappings of a slavefic, but this story subverted my expectations time and time again in all the best ways. Watching their understanding of one another develop (as well as their comfort with each other in the bedroom) was a delight to read!

Excuuuuuuse??? Where is book 2 already???
Can't say I ever thought that I would just mentally adopt a four-armed alien and his human companion BUT HERE WE ARE XD
I had zero idea what to expect going into this book but it was hella cute?? and the intrigue?? and the sexy times???? rude XD
I had a great time reading this book. Kipexo has excellent character growth and now I love him. Ethan is a cute patoot and I desire to see him happy forever. Also I basically never encounter stories that have two disabled leads and I just really loved it here. There was so much more plot than I was expecting and I got so invested I just binged it in a little over a day. Now I'm gonna have to read all of Alex's stuff forever. My poor wallet XD
ALEX HURRY UP AND GIVE ME THE NEXT BOOK ALREADY
Actual rating is 4.5, an editor would have made it perfect. Nothing too major, just a few spots where we slip out of pov, some hilarious typos, and I wouldn't say no to more cool world building stuff.

Hot alien romance + interesting plot!

I love alien romances, so when a friend recommended this, I snatched it up. Make sure to read the blurb! I didn’t and totally missed the content warnings. There’s some on page abuse that was pretty hard to read, mostly because I wasn’t expecting it.

I really, really enjoyed this book. The premise is different and interesting and the characters are written well. I loved how the romantic relationship developed. And I always enjoy a grumpy/mean character that ends up being a total marshmallow when it comes to the other main character. These guys were really hot together and I thought their intimacy helped build their romance.

This is the first book in a series, so I hope we get more world building and descriptions in the future books. I’m totally ok with not having a ton of that in the first book because it was character focused and gave us a chance to get to know Ethan and Kipexo.

I think this is the author’s first book (at least under this pen name) and it was a fantastic first book. I can’t wait for more!

This book was so enjoyable and the author does an excellent job at making you aware of the TW’s so make sure you are checking them beforehand.

This is a mm alien romance, I wouldn’t say full blown enemies to lovers but maybe dislike/like. Our Human is fearful, obliviously with good reason. It also rep of characters with disabilities.

There are some bdsm/bondage scenes. I appreciate the consent Kipexo and Ethan’s relationship had, which I believe cannot be said for all of the earthen’s on this planet.

The overall vibe of this book felt like modern day Aliens, if that makes sense like aliens in an urban setting. which I didn’t dislike I just wish that I could’ve been more submerged into the world with some more world building but the plot and the love story was amazing🖤. And the way that the book and dad has me so nervous to read book two but this is one cliff I’m not willing to leave hanging. 🧗🏽‍♀️

This isn't a genre I typically read but after seeing the reviews on Twitter, I downloaded it and checked it out. This story was completely entertaining, emotional, endearing, and sexy! I enjoyed the dynamic between Kipexo and Ethan and was captivated by both of their character arcs. Sometimes with erotic romance, it's difficult to get that emotional growth that I love but it was done very well by Alex. This was a great Sunday afternoon read and I'm glad I picked it up. I'll be looking forward to the second book!

Also props to Alex for wrapping up major plot points and ending on a compelling cliffhanger while still leaving the reader satisfied by what was accomplished.

I like that it’s m/m sci-fi with aliens but the whole thing is just…meh. You only get the story from the alien (and captor’s), Kipexo’s, POV and none from the human, Ethan. The story is a lot of sex and just some bits thrown in with how everything might not be roses and sunshine when it comes to this alien race owning humans? This book has kink but seems to be on the lighter side.

This is disability rep in this book - Kipexo has a bad leg from a war injury (I think) and Ethan is deaf.

Personally, I was expecting something more from the book or more like the Under His Heel series, but the whole story just felt a bit tepid to me.

Fantastic

This was an amazing story! I was engaged from the first page, and didn't want to put it down again until I finished it. It is a great romantic/erotic mystery set in an alien world far from Earth. I'm really hoping for more from this world as there is sort of a soft cliffhanger at the end.I

Highly recommended!

Stunning, Powerful Story

I was not prepared for this story to be this good! I couldn’t put it down and I highly recommend everyone read it. The story gets you to really look at the way we treat each other, what it means to be a human, and what love is really all about. And just to top it off, there are some really hot scenes in there too! I love a good romance where the smexy scenes aren’t what the story is built on, but they truly enhance the plot in this powerful story by Mx Alex and I personally cannot wait until they put out a sequel!
