Stolen from my home.
Trapped on a giant spaceship.
Taken by the Prince of an alien species I never knew existed.

He's more than a man in so many ways.
But I can't let myself fall under the telepath's spell.

I can't think about his long silver blond warrior's hair...
His glowing eyes...
His unique tongues...
Or the immense equipment dangling between his legs.
I have to be sensible -- I have to escape.

The only problem is that the Crown Prince will never let me out of his sight.
And even if I did escape, I'd have no way to get back to Earth.

Disappointing

The story line was all over the place. I always finish a book if I start it, but this one was difficult

Well, this book was not ready to be published, at all.

So many grammatical errors, which I normally overlook. But not when that numerous and fatal.

The storyline was chaotic and in desperate need of an editing. We are faced with an immense lack of information and the time table is amiss, as well as scenes that didn’t even make sense at all, left more questions than answers which weren’t explained in the end.
Plot threads wildly flowing around, suddenly ending without any progress or real development.
The most part was told and not experienced. This made all the “told” decisions and actions unbelievable. It didn’t fit.
Dialogues were immature and often without logic.
Reactions of the characters didn’t make sense.
There were no emotions for me as a reader in this book. Ergo no romance.
This all felt wrong and not remotely believable.
If you tell me someone was tortured while pregnant but walks around like a happy camper a couple of hours later without apparent reason, that is not authentic.
He tells her, he will come for her in 2 weeks then shows up the next day? This makes no sense at all.
If someone gives birth while being unconscious for three days, you have to tell me how that works.
If said someone, can’t walk after waking up, but walks around like a happy camper 20 mins later, without apparent reason, that is not authentic.
When some is pregnant for a couple of weeks, but suddenly is showing a baby bump like a 7 months old pregnant woman, you have to give me a good reason to believe that. And not only in the medical way. To tell me that she was simply enhanced without giving any more details, is simply not a good idea in a sci-fi book.
Those inconsistencies are to find throughout the whole book and there are so many of them.

It was a really really bad writing style.

There was no substance behind this book.
She fell in love on what basis?
They barely interacted with each other at all in this whole book. How can you love someone who only fucked you 2 times, talks not more than 2 sentences with you whenever you meet, which is rare to start with, then mainly ordering you what to do, without any explanation. And leaves you with more questions than answers?
How can you excuse to be kidnapped, drugged, fucked while being under the influence, impregnated, being neglected, isolated and ignored? To be simply brought back home over night and again left alone, pregnant?
To be a second time kidnapped, tortured and sold into slavery by the sister of the man who abused you the first time?
How can you fall in love with this man and forgive his sister without being given any reason at all?
Besides the ones she made up for herself and told us about, again without me being able to watch it by the actions and reactions of the characters.
And ultimately letting said sister, hold my baby and plan my wedding after she attacked the castle a couple of minutes ago? Killed innocent people and damaged the castle and threatened my life and the life of my child?

The ideas, even the characters and the basic story was good.
The rest was disastrous.

I don't often write that many reviews for naff books very often but this book made the cut and I really wish I could get my £1.43 back. This book started off with a fair amount of promise BUT then it went progressively down hill. The heroine went from being labeled, his princess, to Duchess to Queen back to Duchess. The hero is a crown Prince, future heir to the throne but there was no sign of the King or Queen mentioned in the entire story. The hero's sister went from being very close and supportive to the hero, to trying to kill him, get rid of his mate and, unborn son to, Ooooh please let me hold my nephew, all in the blink of an eye. So much clashing of time zones (storyline explanations didn't add up, her journey to the alien planet took months but she was back in her bad on earth over night, that went throughout the book. There should have been a blurb warning about young twin boys deliberately drowning their baby sister etc there was nothing romantic about that for me. The story was badly written, loads of grammatical mistakes with he/she mix ups etc.
The sex was, how can I describe it...... who bloody writes her 'juices were, gushing, dripping and pouring down her legs and thinks it sounds sexy/erotic FFS! Had to skim over so much of it because it WAS THAT BAD.
Would I recommend this? Not in a month of Sundays - needs rewriting and a good editor to get rid of and, replace the descriptions she's used to describe the anatomy and it's bodily functions of both sexes.
Never get that hour back - yes it took me an hour because I had to skim over so much as it was totally not worth the time to read it properly - pity

Sort of confusing, to be honest. Devon kidnapped Arianna to be his mate, but unless they're being intimate he doesn't really include her that much.

First things first! I looooooove the cover!!!
That was what made me 'see' this book first.
The book is easy to read but it has some actions that are not with consent.
It is in the beginning really hard to like mr. titan but he has some surprising 'elements' on his body... I will not tell you what, but you can read it for yourself.
This title is not the name of the guy but the name of the planet. It is a very cold planet so take your blanket and your hot coco and let's read.
One thing... I don't like the sister and how she 'changed'. Not believable.

What THE HELL did I just read?

This book is a DISASTER. The plot is all over the place and the sex scenes read like they were written by a man who has watched too much porn.

For me, this book is a failure. I will begin to say that it was unexpectedly well written and seemed to have a lot of potential (especially with character development and plot).
Usually, this is the type of book that has a minimal plot and while it seemed refreshing at first to have more, it was so badly constructed I would rather have had none.
Th premie is interesting, I will admit but that is where it ends. The story happens mostly in blank and neutral spaces so if you are looking for a new environment and culture, you would be disappointed. The culture of the alien race and its values are not explained in any way(at least not further than the fact that the sister of the "hero" is a racist vengeful destructive woman). There is an allusion to a war but we don't even know who is waging it or for what reason. We are told absolutely nothing.
As we have established there is no real plot or world/species explanation (a bummer when you consider it is a Sci fi novel), we can now move on to another part that I have found entirely distateful: "the hero". The alien suitor kidnaps our heroine and then proceeds to drug her to get her in the mood and then does what he came to do in a real wham bam thank you mam (minus the thanking part since he is a mighty prince who can't be bothered to offer one word of comfort to a woman he is supposed to have chosen. By the way, we never know on what basis he makes his choice and what led him to her/ what she has more than all the other women on the planet). In the whole novel, he never explains what is happening, he takes one sided decisions that endanger the heroine and he is the most pompous person you can ever imagine (with nothing to back It up).
This makes the relationship between them extremely fabricated : the main couple has not a single conversation (not one), all they do when they see each other is have sex (not to mention the sex scenes are terribly unrealistic but let's not dwell on that), there is no information about his past whatsoever and even the heroine character is not up to par.
I mean she literally dumps her past on us (no relevance whatsoever to the storyline and unnecessarily gory) in the last chapter. This does not advance the story in any way but apparently if she can't relive through the memories she can't give birth (don't ask me, I don't get it). Moreover she herself is passive all the story (she does nothing but sit around and before you have noticed she is already nine months pregnant.)
Have I mentioned that time moves in a totally exploded way? I don't know how to describe it but here is nothing showing the passage of time (an example is one time, the heroine is 4 months pregnant and gets rekidnapped and suddenly she is ready to pop although not more than some days could have passed).
Finally (and this is my biggest gripe), at the end of the book, the sister of the hero (who we have established is a terrible excuse for an alien being) just becomes all accepting. Spoiler alert
She has tormented the heroine, bullying her into thinking that she was inferior, physically harming her, humiliating her, restricting her freedom, kidnapping her, selling her to slave traders and attacking the whole planet she is princess of (honorable mention for one of a relative who was nice to the heroine and was burned and had her lips sewed together, peace loving my a**). She is persuaded that she is in the right and suddenly her newborn nephew (you have heard me newborn) convinces her to switch sides and she does!? Mind you the heroine (which means us) do not get to hear what he has communicated but apparently it is enough to get her to gush over him and plan his parent's wedding. She is Not punished for what she has done.
At this point, I feel like I hated everything about this book, be it the psychopath fœtus who burned his name onto his mother's hand (making her vomit from the pain), said psychopath who has promised his mother (while in the womb) that he would make his aunt pay for what she has done to her but never does since he sweet talks her into being aunt of the year or even the many inconsistencies in the book (such as the fact that the whole race does not have names even though the whole royal family has them, as well as the doctor, etc)
Anyway, a resounding no for me. Never again.

Ariana lived on a farm in the summer, her Pawpaw giving her mother a break for a few months in taking care of 7 wild children. Seven-year-old Ariana was walking through the mud, looking for critters and anything that caught her attention, when a huge man walked up to her. She had been taught to be police to adults, so she wasn’t afraid. He knew her name, and it sounded like he spoke inside her head. Then he apologized, saying he seemed to be “early”. He didn’t even look human and she figured she should probably run away from him. Her siblings did not believe her and teased her about the man who didn’t exist.

Years later, the man returned, not in person but in her consciousness. She felt him, heard him tell her he would be coming in two weeks. She was afraid to sleep after that, afraid he would intrude into her mind again. She felt like she had met him before; he was somehow familiar. And she started to feel like he was very real!

She realized she was kidnapped, not sure where she was. When she struggled, she was given a shot to put her out. When she woke again, the man was there and spoke in her head, insisting she do the same. He was 7 feet tall, humanoid, but definitely not human. He told her his name could not be translated into speech, so she could call him “Titan”. He also told her they were on the Devoran royal transport ship. They had “enhanced” her with some medicine and she would feel the effects soon. He was the crown prince of Devor Prime and had chosen her as his mate.

Things progressed as Ariana learned to communicate with Titan through her mind. He had a sense of urgency, saying they didn’t have much time. When they finally mated, the drug lowering her fears and inhibitions, he left the room. What would happen to her now? He hadn’t told her anything, hadn‘t answered her questions. But the mating had been successful and she was already pregnant. Titan’s sister, Princess Dhara, made her intense dislike of Ariana very obvious. Would she try to harm Ariana. Would she put her in real danger? Would Titan let this happen? Was Ariana just a means to produce an heir?

This is not a particularly warm story. I didn’t like the cold and hot approach Titan took when he was around Ariana. He got her cooperation through the drugs and not because he showed her kindness or affection. His sister treated her badly when she was there through no fault of her own. The reader is kept a bit uncomfortable far into the story line, so it was difficult to develop a good rapport with the characters. They remained strangers for quite some time. Not fully understanding the purpose or direction of the story left the reader not fully engaged. Though it finally did get better, it is not a book I would read a second time.

Breakout author to keep your eyes on!
I really enjoyed reading this story by Enid Titan. She is an author that you should immediately follow! This is a story that has very well thought out characters with in depth backgrounds. Fantastic world building, being that she has created whole galaxies, planets and beings. You will be brought to happy highs, dragged down to tears, excited and anxious as you read this story. If you wanted a quick generic read, this isn't for you. This is a story outside the box. The only things that may be similar to other stories is the human female kidnapped by alien male, human female needed for breeding for alien species dying out, and human female and alien male falling in love with each other.

Ariana is one of seven children of a alcoholic mother, no father to speak of, who spends every summer with their grandfather in central New York on a lake. A tragedy befell the children with the death of the youngest. We don't find out about how she died until near the end. None of the children became much of themselves and didn't really stay in much contact with each other. When their grandfather passed away, Ariana inherited the lake house. From the time she was seven years old, she has seen, in what she thought were dreams or hallucinations, a very tall blue skinned male with white hair. He was always kind to her, but would say something like it wasn't time yet or that he will see her soon. The first time it happened, she told her sister about it, but her sister thought she was lying to get out of trouble.

Titan is the Crown Prince of his planet and species. Something happened to all the females of his species so that they are now all sterile. As the Crown Prince, he has found the one being that is compatible with him to give him children. Unfortunately the first time he finds her, she is only seven years old. He has to wait for her to grow up and be mature. He checks on her from time to time, usually in her dreams. His people are telepathic, mainly speaking mind to mind. When it is finally time to retrieve her, he didn't count on how he would really feel about her in the flesh and all the issues that having an alien mate and half-breed child will bring to the rest of his people. There will always be prejudice people out there, not just on Earth, and how far they will go to prevent mingling.

Fantastic story that stirs all your feelings. Looking forward to more stories by this author.

★ Preserving the royal line ★

—>>> Review Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars - At the age of seven, Arianna had a strange encounter in the woods with a ghost-like stranger, for which she was not believed, owning it to her imagination. Now, at the country property once again, this time left to her after her father’s passing, she has another encounter with this mysterious man, only this time, this was no dream. Arianna finds herself kidnapped, bound, “enhanced,” spoken to telepathically, and at the mercy of Crown Prince Titan of Devor prime. Last, but not least, she was chosen to be his mate.

Things would have been simpler, on top of finding herself on a ship bound for Devor, but add to that the nasty treatment of Titan’s sister, Princess Dhara. She stirs up trouble because she is not accepting of a human for his mate, nor, it seems, is the rest of the Devorans. When Dhara crosses the line, Titan does the one thing to keep her safe: send her back to Earth, exactly what she was begging for. Her adventure does not end there, however, because she still has her uses.

For me, the first chapter explaining her childhood was a huge contrast to the intergalactic adventure depicted in the latter two-thirds of the book, and therefore, a bit disjointed, but we do get a sense of what family life was as well as the importance of her siblings. The Devorans treatment of her seemed in keeping of the elite ruling class, of a species which deems Terrans primitive beings. Overall, a very interesting first book of the Alpha Quadrant series! I look forward to reading where the series will take us from here!

I quite enjoyed reading this intriguing Sci-fi romance which is the first of the “Alpha Quadrant Series” The plot was well-paced & interesting although it was a bit slow in the beginning but as I progressed further into the story, it soon caught my interest & kept it until the end. The characters are fairly well-developed with complex personalities but I will admit that I was not impressed with the way the Prince (Titan) treated his so-called mate (Ariana) in the beginning & I found the sister (Princess Dhara) quite unlikable with her vindictive attitude/behavior although they all continue to develop throughout the story-line to become more mature individuals.
There is: an alien prince (Titan) abducts a young woman (Adriana) who is determined to escape by whatever means possible but she has no way to return to earth, various kinds of aliens, alien royalty, slavers, adventure, action, drama, intrigue suspense, twists & turns, deceit, betrayal, abduction, drugs, enhancements, threats, captivity, danger, devious plans, conflict, violence, escape, unusual friendships, visions, mental telepathy abilities, confrontations, compromises, contentment, some steam & a satisfying conclusion.

I was very disappointed by this book. The storyline was confusing - and a little chaotic. The glimpse of another world was interesting - but none of the ideas seemed fleshed out to me. I also felt that more explanation of “why” the breeder was required was important, considering the level of animosity displayed by other characters towards the whole idea and process. I also had time line issues - I’m not mathematically talented enough to work out exactly how that time system worked. I had issues with the grammar, but I figured that this was a writing style related to the characterisation of the female protagonist. I was struggling to understand if there was consent in their first sexual encounter..and I’m still confused by this after finishing the book. The language in the sexual encounter scenes reminded me of Purple prose competitions. None of the characters really made sense to me, and I didn’t see enough of the worlds or characters to make me want to read any more. I really thought that the premise of the book was interesting - and there were some good ideas but not executed well enough for me to want to read any more of this series..

I love romances in all forms. But a romance that also includes action attracts me even more. This Sci-Fi story therefore has everything it needs to keep holding the book in my hands and kept me reading. Not only the love story is beautifully described, but the rest of the story around it also keeps it exciting. First be abducted by an alien that makes you pregnant and wants to keep you as his bride. Then be abducted again because his sister wants to keep the bloodline pure and you wants to get rid of you. The fear and uncertainty that goes through Arianne crawls under your skin.
How fascinating is it that while reading you get something about the death of her sister at a young age. Every time you are kept in the dark as to what the cause of death was ..... and if you know then you would rather not have known. Heartbreaking!

oh ..... and how naughty can you be to describe the anatomy of a man this way ..... I wish I met a Devon man ;-)

I read the prequel and then this book. These were the first books I’ve read by Enid. I can say they were definitely original. This one was hot and suspenseful. Ariana met Titan when she was 7 years old in her small hometown. He said it wasn’t time but he would come back for her. When she was 30 he came back and kidnapped her. Let’s just say that she definitely had a rough time. Not only did she mate with Titan but was also shunned by his sister and several Devors. Not only that but she had to contend with a lot of crap from his sister throughout the whole thing to include some nasty garbage. Things got really intense. Overall they were great characters.

What I didn’t like was that she kept allowing them to not tell her anything. I mean I know in the beginning she pretty much had to do what they said but in the end they should’ve been more open with her.

I look forward to reading more from Enid. I received this as an arc for my honest and voluntary review.

Just Weird...
The storyline was confusing and very chaotic, probably due to the many spelling and grammatical errors. Actually too many to count. I almost didn't finish the book but since this author is new to me I gave it a chance.

Aside from the errors listed above, I had issues with the world and character building. There just wasn't enough information for me and caused too many unanswered questions.

The plot threads ended way too abruptly, again leaving questions unanswered.
Prince Titan basically treats Arianna like a slave. I'm still not sure if the first sex scene was consensual or not. The sex scenes were not sexy but just plain gross the way they were written.

Titan's sister's attitude did a complete 180° at the end. So much so that it was not believable without more context.

All in all, it will be a while before I read more from this author. I bought the 10 book bundle for .99 but I'm not sure if I will read the others due to this review.

I wonder if I have read a re-worked version of the original book... here’s my review anyways:
Of course alien royalty would find a suitable match on earth! I enjoyed parts of Ariana’s backstory that showed her lived experience and initial contact with Titan. When Titan and Ariana finally come together, their physical attraction is off the charts. I found that I missed additional in-person interactions and relationship development to better understand them aside from sex and generic telepathic statements. The ups and downs of power control within the royal family and a chase across the galaxy created suspense that I found particularly engaging. An entertaining read with an implied HEA despite leaving some details unresolved.

Salvation and Forgiviness

When starting this book the story had me kind of puzzled about how well it would be in the end. Starting off with the Ariana family kind of threw me in this story but kind of made sense by the end of the book.

Titan is from a planet called Devor and they are a race of alien telepaths that believe they are superior to everyone.

There are things that I want to tell you about this story but to do so will be spoiler and will ruin it for the reader.

Have to admit there is a tangle in this book that I would like to know more about so hopefully in the next book it will be address.

Overall, this book was an enjoyable read.

The book was interesting, the mains characters are from two different worlds. There lives are intertwined from a certain age, the sex was scouring (wet your knickers sex). There are parts in the past that revival her life as a child and family life, which shows in childhood then adulthood. She has a gift which didn’t know she had and goes on a journey which reveals more of this gift she has. The theme and the concept was half and half. In my opinion this book is worth reading because it’s from two different views, since your seeing it from eachothers perspective.HEA

Okay, this was a little freaky. The world building was phenomenal and the alien characters were significantly unique compared to the majority of the Sci-Fi Romance I’ve read lately. I realized that I just don’t understand the majority of these alien kidnap romances. The females seem to fall for their captives so quickly. Don’t get me wrong, I did enjoy this book but dang girlfriend was into her alien faster than I liked. I am not saying anymore because I hate spoiler reviews and to explain what I mean would give away too much. I will read more by this author though.

Ariane has been seeing Aliens since she was a child. Then, as an adult, she is kidnapped by the crown prince, and taken to Devor. She is pregnant with his son - but his sister is against everything he is trying to do for his people. Will Ariane be able to return to earth? Will Dhara win the battle with her brother? Loved it!

Liked the concept, but struggled to even finish the book.
It was choppy, and filled with easy-to-fix spelling errors, a confusing plot and disjointed dialogue (no doubt exacerbated by spelling and grammatical errors)
I would actually read something else by this author. First because she seems to have ideas for what could be great stories and Second to see if editing and proofreading have improved.

I will never look at the color robin’s egg blue again without seeing…

Was she going crazy? What was happening to her? Where is she safe? Will all her questions ever be answered? They won’t tell her anything leaving her in the dark. This story is a good one. When Enid writes a story it pulls you in and you don’t want to put the book down. I enjoyed the book immensely and would recommend it to everyone.

With every page turning I got more sucked in in Arianas mind, her feelings, fearing, expectations and realities...realities?- you’ll see...
Enid Titan builds an completely new world seemingly without any resemblance to what we know. But isn’t what we know not only the result of what we want to know?
Isn’t sometimes the warmth you find in an cold environment warmer then an hot summer’s day in a cold one?
Thank you Enid!

Don’t waste your money folks. The editing was so bad in this book I had to stop and reread sentences many times. The lead male character is flat and emotionless, and the lead female is not much better. Was very disappointed in this book and if I could get my money back, I would

Promising

A wonderful imagination, fantastic world building, no slow spots. This author has promise. Sometimes crude dialog, bad spelling, bad grammar. Male lead character did not have any depth. Story line somewhat juvenile. This sounds like a bad review but it is really not. This author could be great with more hard work and practice.

Whelp I made it to the sex part and I sure wish I hadn't. Not sexy, just gross and so unappealing. Both characters are uninspiring, unlikable and annoying. Worst money ever spent on a book! Coulda used that .99¢ for a razor blade to slit my wrists and enjoyed it more! DNF!
