There could hardly be a less suitable place to park a limo than next to a school, but its conspicuous size alone made it an awful choice for criminal activity.The whole book is told in this stream-of-consciousness style, rambling along in our narrator's head rather than focusing on the action much of the time. Sometimes it gives me a headache, but Mayumi's baffled responses to her oddball compatriots did make me chuckle at times.
I couldn't understand why Rei would choose such a noticeable vehicle for her crimes, but who knows? Maybe she just hadn't thought about it.
One upside was that they probably weren't pulled over by the police very often....
