Whoa! So I wasn’t so thrilled with what happened in Book 2, but Book 3 of The B&B at Tigertail Beach by Jessie Kelley absolutely makes up for the issues I had with Book 2!
Here in Book 3, Sasha and the family are trying to figure out the riddle in the letter her father left behind for her. It ends up being a big outing for all at the B&B, including other family and friends! I’m impressed at the thoughtfulness of Sasha’s father and how he planned ahead for his wife and daughters to continue doing things as a family. Jim knew each persons strengths and weaknesses. He used that in his letters and as part of their riddle to solve.
Sasha reminds me of myself. She tries at first. Puts in some effort. Then wants to give up when she can’t figure it out. Her actions are very similar to what I would do, too! If it wasn’t for Elijah encouraging her, she wouldn’t have ever been able to solve her fathers riddle for her and it would have affected her emotionally.
Elijah, on the other hand, is quite blunt and has no filter. In some ways, he reminds me of my husband who says things without realizing how it affects the people around him. Elijah shows that he is confident that Sasha can figure this out, even though they just met. He also seems to long to grow a relationship with Sasha , but doesn’t really know where to start.
This book ends with something shocking and unexpected. I look forward to reading Book 4 to see what happens!!

It’s been a year since Jim’s death and the story continues with Chris, the son from Jim’s one night infidelity, coming once again to see Jim’s family. Chris’ best friend/roommate, Elijah has watched Chris suffer for the past year and has had enough, so he contacts Pearl for permission for them to visit. This was my favorite part of the series so far because you see forgiveness followed by love from Julie towards Chris. Plus Sasha finally reads the letter her father sent her and also finds closure...until there’s a knock on the door.

This series takes you on an emotional roller coaster ride. I like the way the author makes you feel like you could be friends with these characters. You feel like you are sitting beside Julie, feeling hat she feels. I can't wait for the next book.....Highly recommended. I received this book as an ARC and this is my honest review.

Jessie continues with the series in book 3. There is mystery and surprises. Most of the surprises are good but one made this reader say oh ..... I would definitely recommend this series to anyone interested in a good read

So nice to visit with this family and see them overcome the various obstacles their grief has put in their way. The characters are wonderful. It was good to visit with them again. Elijah and Chris visited and then the twist at the end! I just can’t wait for the next installment! I received an ARC and this is my honest opinion.

B&B at tiger tail Beach Book 3
Wow! Finally the characters are all getting along. Well mostly they are. I think Julie has finally settled her heart and then at the end she gets hit again. Read it and then we will have to read the next one to find out the new developments.
