Thea was left without a home when Grandma died. How could she know that the house they lived in belonged to her grandfather; a man that refused to acknowledge her very existence. The wonderful woman she called ‘Grandma’ was actually her grandfather’s sister who did everything she could to reason with the man. Thea’s mother was young and foolish when she believed the words of a man promising to marry her until she found she was with child. Learning that he had no intention of marrying her, she returned to her Aunt’s home hoping for help. Her mother died shortly after Thea was born leaving her with her mother’s aunt whom Thea called Grandma. In nineteen years, her grandfather failed to soften his heart; then on the day of her grandmother’s funeral, he told Thea that she had one week to get out of the house.
I have read her books, as they bring alive God through her stories. I find myself reading all of her books over and over every year. The characters that she brings forth are realistic and shows what God can do. And brings a greater desire to live as God's child. I miss her books. It is almost a year since her last book. I have tried to contact her but have been on able to do do. If I had them in paper, but cannot do that as I just do not have the money. This 68 year old gramma loves her books as they are very good written. Thank you. If I can get my grand daughter's to read them as they are having fun with my husband and I and there cousins. We have 17 grandchildren that God has blessed us with. Sandy D
How wonderful Reflections is. So often we forget we are the mirror image, or reflection of GOD our Creator to those around us. But this book takes it one step further reminding us that we can allow wrong attitudes and unforgiveness on our part distorts GODS reflection. Thanks Jean, for this wonderful story.
Love all her books. This one was no exception. Stories of strong people and their journeys. Waiting for the next one now. I’ve never been disappointed .
You feel your on the journey with the characters. Everything comes to life and you can lose yourself in the storyline.
Beautiful story of love and over coming hate. Learning to trust in God and rely on his wisdom. Thea's heart break and Cal's love for her shows that with God all things are possible
Jean Kuhnke has created yet another story that captures the essence of mankind at its finest moments. With faith and willingness to work comes soul felt peace.
I don't want to read about rape and attempted rape in escapist romance. What really put me off was the attempted rape was glossed over as immaturity on the part of the offender. Attempted rape is not an act of immaturity, it is a criminal act, and the offender should be in jail.
