Reed Security #14

Jackson: Book 2 of a 3 book arc

Rate this book
This is the 14th book in the Reed Security Series and the 2nd book of a 3 book arc. The arc books need to be read in order and it is suggested that the rest of the series is read in order as well.

Jackson Lewis saved Raegan Cartwright from a terrible situation and has been keeping her and her parents safe. Raegan knows she can trust the sexy man she's staying with, but her confidence has taken a beating. Still, she refuses to be the wilting flower that everyone expects of her. If only she could get Jackson to see that. He sees only what he wants to, sure that her refusal to talk about what happened as a sign she couldn't move on. But when all hell breaks loose at Reed Security, Raegan is pulled into one dangerous situation after another. When it is discovered that Raegan isn't just an innocent bystander but directly linked to Reed Security's current situation, she finds herself even more intertwined and is fully prepared to face her issues head-on. But this is more than just an abusive ex. This is something that involves innocent people and deadly consequences. But Reed Security is relying on her and she won't let them down.

“Do you want to tell me why you f*@king shot me?”
“I didn’t…what? Where?”
He pulled the ripped fabric away from his thigh where blood trickled sluggishly.
“It doesn’t look that bad.”
“It’s not, but why the f*@k were you shooting at me?”
“Because I was trying to kill the bad guys,” I shouted.
“Yeah, with your f*@king eyes closed! Who does that?”
“I was scared!”
“So, you close your eyes and hope for the best?”
“It was a gut reaction. I didn’t mean to do it. It just happened!”
“And did you mean to follow me and join in the action? Because you were supposed to stay right where you f*@king were while I took care of them.”
“You didn’t say that,” I shouted incredulously. “You shoved a gun in my hand and ran away. I thought I was supposed to be your backup or something. Next time say something.”
“There won’t be a next time. I’m not ever giving you a gun again!”
“I’ll do better next time!”
He scoffed. “Yeah, like you might keep your eyes open? Or you’ll try not to shoot me?”
I scowled at him and stomped around the back of the truck and over to the passenger side of the truck, opening the door and hopping in.
“What are you doing?”
“We’re leaving, aren’t we?”
“Not in that truck. There are a man’s innards all over the front. That’s not exactly being discreet.”
“Well, I didn’t know that,” I said, hopping out of the truck and stomping back around to his side. “You could have just said, ‘Hey, Raegan, we’re going to grab a different truck since I just splattered a man against this one. See how easy that is?”
“I would think the fact that there’s a dead man attached to the grill would have clued you in,” he scowled.

Reed Security under fire!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Romance: 💋💋💋💋💋
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📙📕📗📘📔
World building: 🌎🌏🌍🌎🌏
Character development: 👨🏻👱🏻‍♀‍🧔🏻👩🏻👱🏼‍♂‍

The heroine: Reagan - rescued by the men of Reed Security in a previous book. Reagan was living with her boyfriend who was an arms dealer and when he decided to stupidly make a move on his largest competitor who was known for brutality, she decided it was finally time to get out of Dodge. After years of abuse she called her parents, who called in Reed Security and they found her badly beaten in her boyfriends house.

The Hero(es): Jackson - he works at Reed Security and is on a teem with Gabe and Chance. He was the first to see Reagan when they went to the house and she looked like she was dead. He insisted she (and her parents) stay at his house until they determined they were safe, since some of her boyfriends gang and possibly the competitor were after her because of what she might know.

The Story: Jackson is determined that despite taking Reagan into his home, he doesn’t want her and doesn’t want to change his bachelor status. Reagan wants Jackson to stop treating her like she is broken and to start seeing her as a woman.

This is the second book of a three book ARC and part of it takes place in the same time period that the previous book, Sniper. In this book Reed Security is attacked and despite having a very sophisticated security system in place, including facial and handprint scanners, security codes and more. Many of the men are injured, some critically and a few are missing. Luckily, most of the women and children were safe in the panic room (or panic mansion) underground during the attack.

Like all of the Reed Security Series, this was a bit of a suspense, a bit of a thriller, a lot of a romance with added humor and a bunch of steamy goodness. I highly recommend this entire series because it has everything. I am liking this three book ARC though, though just so you know. I started this series at book 21 and read through 26 before starting at the beginning. Most of the books can basically be read as stand-alone books, but it is best if you do read them in order.

This is the second book in a three book arc, so you know it's going to be full of action, and the story isn’t going to be fully resolved. You have to read these books in order, so read Sniper before this one. I gotta say, I got so upset by some of the happenings that I put the book away for a day before I could get back to it. Raegan is in a terrible situation that affects her & her family. She is a total snarky, smart-mouthed woman who uses dark humour to cope. It took a while for me to get used to Raegan and her attitude, just like Jackson. This story is about so much more than Raegan and Jackson, though, and it has all the feels throughout. Absolutely packed with action, tension, desperation, fear, and love, this ranks as one of my favourite books in the series. The story carries on, and you can bet I’ll be at the front of the line to see how this all ends.

I received a copy of this book. My honest review is voluntarily provided.

After reading Sniper and having a complete meltdown after it’s ending I was worried to start this book. Luckily my meltdown is done and no longer needed. Lol

The absolute hilarity of the things some of these men find themselves involved in or talking about is the best part of the book. Add in their crazy women and you will find yourself laughing through at least half of this book.

The laughs were much needed after reading Sniper. I’m crossing my fingers that we are one book away from closure in this current series of events our favorites have found themselves in.

I want to say Thank You to the author for not causing another panic attack! She likes to play with our emotions and I really think she enjoys killing our favorite characters. But do the hot guys ever really die?

When the team of Reed Security went on a mission to capture a guns dealer they ended up rescuing Reagan, his abused girlfriend and her family. In order to keep them safe Jackson moved them into his home and over the course of the last year he has fallen in love with her but knows he needs to be patient because of her past.

When the team comes under attack some members are missing, some members are injured, and it may be related to Reagan’s past, but emotions become tense when it is feared they may have a traitor amongst them.

Full of emotion, action and suspense the twists keep coming which leaves us wanting the next book to see how it all ends.

This was one of the most anticipated books of the series so far for me, and as usual Giulia did not disappoint. This book made me laugh, and really ugly cry. During one of the most critical points of the book, Giulia had me cursing and plotting her downfall while I had the biggest ugly cry of my life. And a few chapters on, she had me crying tears of Joy and again cursing her, this time wondering if she is pure evil or just a genius. Jackson is one of those Reed heroes that made me laugh and smile even though he can be an ass at times. Regan is a pure joy to relate to. Her acerbic comments at times made me laugh so much. Regan is the perfect Reed security wife. She reminds me of Lindsey with the way she puts Jackson in his place. It was also heart-warming to hear certain points of the story from the other team members perspectives. All in all, I really enjoyed this book and I can't wait for the third book in this mini series to come out.

I’ve been hooked on the Reed Security Series since I started it and after reading the first part of this arc, I was counting down the days till I could read this. Giulia Lagomarsino has once again written an amazing book that mixes romance, danger and hilarity into one.

Jackson and Reagan met when he rescued her from a dangerous situation and their relationship truly picks up at the wildest of times when drama at Reed Security is at an all-time high. Reagan’s sarcastic and sassy demeanour was something I really identified with and made this character so much more believable. She’s been through some tough things in her life but her approach to handling it was refreshing and made a change to what I usually see in romance books. Jackson struggles with how to approach Reagan thinking she is fragile but this just makes up some of the humorous scenes you’ll read in the book.

This book pulls you in so many different directions. It was great to read more of the scenes that depict the hilarious conversations between the men of Reed security, and a few between some on the wives – they all had me laughing. Once again, I’ve cried at a Reed Security book and I had to put my kindle down at one point as I couldn’t believe what I had just read, if you get/ have got attached to the characters in this series then you know which part I’m talking about. Honestly Giulia how do you do it? Then at another point I bolted up from my seat so fast I thought I was going to get whiplash, when I read something that I was so hoping would happen, and I’m so glad it did I'm not sure I could have forgiven Giulia otherwise.

I loved this latest installment to the series. With most of this series I’ve read each installment in one sitting and this one was no different. Though this is the first one where I was actually wishing I knew what was going to happen before I got to reading it, I just needed to know where everything was going. Bring on the next one!

Fun, sexy mexy, plenty of action and yes at times tears.

This is by far the best series and the offspring series I have read this year.

The complex threads that Giulia weaves her stories, and her characters keeps you coming back for more. You will be riveted to the pages and find that hours have passed by the time you manage to pull yourself away.

You will laugh your arse off when you are not sweating through the action.

While Jackson didn't answer many questions which upset me a great deal Giulia Lagomarsino, it is the 2nd book of a 3 book arc like it says in the title, so YOU MUST READ Sniper FIRST! Anyway, I'm dying more inside now, though I did love Jackson's story a ton! See, Sniper's story left me hangin' off a cliff by a fingernail, so while I enjoyed Jackson, I was still trying to hold on in the wind while reading it with a very teeny tiny tease. Now, Jackson had his bachelor life turned upside down when he rescued a girl named Raegan, who was beat to hell, and she ended up staying with him for far longer than either of them planned for. He treated her like glass, though she was tougher than she looked, and told jokes to mask her pain. Their journey was hilarious like all the other men of Reed Security when they found their women, and the sparks were flying, though they fought like crazy. When that chemistry wouldn't be denied any longer in the midst of danger, they didn't set the sheets on fire, nope, they rolled around in mud, and had me rolling around in hysterical laughter. Of course, there's the whole cast of secondaries who only added more laughter to the mix, especially when they're having their bonding moments, OMG, those are my favorites, especially when waxing comes up. And I wouldn't want to forget those diabolical twists, and there were many that just about had me throwing my kindle across the room by the mid point of the story, to where I wouldn't have been able to finish it, but luckily, I ended up holding on with just loud f-bomb dropping in new creative ways. Now, I NEED that last book of this 3 part in the worst way before I lose it completely, and will end with HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

Where do I even begin. This book had me all over the map emotionally. I think I experienced every single emotion to be had at least twice throughout my entire read. I am still dying for the next book in this since it will give me Chance's conclusion (which I am on pins and needles to see how it plays out!).
Reagan was an AMAZING character and I related to her so well. I loved her snark and sarcasm. I also really appreciate how she was handling things. It is not your every-day kinda mentality and it is a refreshing change from how most heroines are in romance reads. She was tough and sassy without being a bitch or standoffish. It was a break from the norm and it was fresh and fun and definitely different. I enjoy that it wasn't just a simple answer as to why she stayed with her ex. It wasn't a cut and dry deal and that is true to real life. Nothing is ever as simple as that. It made it feel relatable even to someone that has never been in that situation.
Jackson was a great character as well. I loved his turmoil in the situation and it was an easy read to see where he was coming from in regards to his relationship with Reagan.
As always the banter and discussions between the guys were hilarious. But the drunken discussion with Lucy, Isa and Reagan was so funny I almost peed my pants!
And the twist from the very beginning twisted me up in ways only Giulia Lagomarsino can do. I was so emotionally involved I was literally talking (in some cases screaming) at my kindle!
Another masterpiece. Can't wait for the next one!

I am so into this series (even though I haven't read all of the books). Giulia Lagomarsino swept in from seemingly nowhere and blindsided me with the way she mixes romance and danger and mystery and family all into one big disaster that has to be sorted out. And Jackson is no exception. Things started with a bang that had my heart aching. And in the next moment I had the giggles...

Raegan was a firecracker. There is no other way to describe her. Her situation was way less than ideal but it was what brought her and Jackson together. And poor straight laced, serious Jackson, didn't know what to make of her. She hid her pain behind sarcasm and sass and hated to be seen as weak. Because she wasn't. To live through what she had and survive, necessitated it.

The build between Jackson and Raegan was a super slow burn. It was only when danger landed on the door step of Reed Security did either of them admit out loud what they were feeling for the other.

Talk about a whirlwind. But some things seemed scattered. And a lot of the back and forth between Raegan and Jackson was the same over and over. There were big gaps of time missing in the timeline and some events coming up in the story when they did, didn't make sense at the time. But that ending...the way it all started to come together, was intense and me hanging on every word. I am beyond ready for the final part of this arc.

Jackson is the second of three books that tie-in together as well as the 14th book of the Reed Security Series by Giulia Lagomarsino. Book one of this threesome featured Chance and Morgan who joined together in a search for Morgan's missing child. A missing child case officially considered a cold case by the investigators. This current book, number two of three, centers on Jackson and Raegan. Raegan was rescued by the Reed Security team after she was beaten and left for dead by her ex-boyfriend who was apparently into illegal weapons and drugs. Jackson literally took possession of Raegan and moved her and her parents into the safety of his own home rather than sending her and them off to a safe house. Churlishness aside, Jackson felt something for Raegan from the start. They were drawn to each other despite frequent appearances of sarcasm, sniping and overall snarky rapport that is always heated, fast and furious. He thinks she needs to be protected, babied and healed due to the trauma she suffered. She thinks he needs to respect her strength and independence as a woman, to just get over himself, and that, oh, by the way, he should offer her caring sex. Like all of the author’s Reed Security Series this book is filled with humor, blood and guts, camaraderie, steamy sex, true love and detailed OPS planning. It will have readers hurrying to Book 15 to learn how the three books tie together. There are so many possible outcomes. Kudos to the author for excitement in text.

Oh my God!!! If this wasn't a nailbiter turned tear fest, turned hot zone, turned nailbiter I don't know what was. This book was gripping, hot, painful, stressful and full of the banter that these guys can only deliver! Once they start in on one, it turns into a free for all. This is Jackson's story, but there are the other men and their ladies, as well as a glimpse of what happened to Chance. Reagan is now Jackson's charge after he rescued her from the ex that had beat her near to death, but somewhere along the line, he fell for her. There are times in this story that I wanted to beat her myself on Jackson's behalf, but..he likes her that way so I let it slide (but secretly I still wanted to beat her for the stupid things she did). Anyway, their first time together happens while they are on the run, and talk about getting down and dirty..only this is literally! And it was just as funny as it was hot! But danger is on their tails and now that they have made it to the new safe house, they have to figure out how to get in...RUN FOR IT!

That's all you get, but I will say that this book will latch on to you from the very beginning and will not let go until you reach the end and fall straight off of that cliff! It's exciting, thrilling, funny, scary, painful and a thorough joy to have read. I cannot recommend this book, these books highly enough. A total 10 in a world of 5's.

Raegan Cartwright is a woman who is in a situation not of her own making. Her situation is something that some women will be able to identify with. Right there your heart will get involved and don’t expect the story to let go until the last word is read. Jackson Lewis seems to have an issue he can’t quite figure out. He may seem the perfect hero for Raegan but he can get frustrating at times.

This was a great way to read something new by the author as well as catching up with the rest of the Reed Security team. It may have plenty of action but it seems like things turn laughable when Jackson and Raegan are in the same space. Some scenes may be a little hard to read but it’s part of the world these men live in. It’s something of an emotional roller coaster ride. I don’t do roller coasters because I always get sick but this is one ride that I didn’t mind being on.

One thing I do mind is when it comes to an abrupt halt. My stomach feels like it’s still moving and that’s what makes me feeling sick. Our author has done that here. The author leaves me hanging on as the story stops. That will leave you on a ledge waiting to know what happens next and no clue as to where we go from here.

I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.

This is another great book in what is becoming a lengthy fantastic series about the security agents of the Reed Security company. This particular book is the second of a group of three in the series and I am already looking forward to the conclusion of this group of books, and then hopefully more about other agents. This book begins with a huge attack on the Reed Security home base, with many devastating injuries. One of the agents is Jackson, who has rescued a woman named Raegan from her abusive crime boss former boyfriend. Then there is another attack inside the hospital against the wounded men, and dangers continue to abound. It seems there is a traitor helping the enemy, so Reed Security has to find the mole and regroup from the devastating attacks. There are amazing, shocking turns in the events. There is also a TON of sarcastic humor from the agents and their wives, making for a lot of fun reading. But the main question of the book is whether Jackson and Raegan can build a relationship and have an HEA in the midst of all these dangerous events. I highly recommend this book and, as I wrote, am really looking forward to the next one in the series.

This is the second book in it's own trilogy within the Reed Securiry series. First off, I think this was a great idea for the series and so Giulia to keep us on our toes. I have read each and every book in this series and I cannot recommend it enough. The cover for this book is perfect, I my opinion. Now for the story of the book. There is no ending as the Reed Security still have some answers to find, bad guys to kill and we need to see Chance find his HEA. But we do see some answers and progress in that direction being made. Of course, our boy Jackson finds Raegan and this is their rough road at finding HEA. This book has alot and will pull you through the ringer with the characters but it has great hilarious moments as well that break up the tougher topics perfectly. The witty banter and topics that the guys find themselves discussing, there is always a laughing out loud moment. The drunken discussion amongst some of the women......oh my goodness so funny! This story was an amazing read, if you have not read this series, at the very least start with Sniper. As always it is a absolute pleasure to read this author.

Seemed to drag on a bit...

Spoilers ahead...

So it was an ok read but really seemed to drag on for longer than I liked.

I'm still not sure why there is a little trilogy in the middle of the series, but This book didn't seem to be truly just Jackson and Raegan's story... It was another group book with almost everyone's point of view. Which, I love all the characters, but this one just falls short.

I think the biggest part of the problem was that around 30% in I wanted to stop reading it. It ticked me off. While I didn't fully believe they died, it was quite convincing and it really did tear them all apart a bit. And even when they came back, the women were unforgiving for everything they had gone through. Which was also understandable, but did not make for a good happy read.

I'm still trying to figure out why Chance was taken as well. And at this point, he's really been gone for far too long. The fact that he missed the wedding is garbage too.

So while the book is an okay read, it's definitely not something I particularly enjoyed. I'm looking forward to the conclusion and how they get Morgan and her daughter and Chance all back. And to see who this mystery person is. I still feel like the chief is in there somewhere.

The story has laughs, pain, secrets, suspense, and heartbreak.

If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first
Sinner (A Reed Security, #1)
Cap (A Reed Security, #2)
Cazzo (Reed Security, #3)
Knight (Reed Security, #4)
Irish (Reed Security, #5)
Hunter (Reed Security #6)
Whiskey (Reed Security, #7)
Lola (Reed Security, #8)
Ice (Reed Security #9)
Burg: A Reed Security Romance (Reed Security #10)
Gabe: A Reed Security Romance (Reed Security #11)
Jules (Reed Security #12)
Sniper: Book 1 of a 3 book arc (Reed Security #13)

This is Raegan and Jackson's story. Jackson saved Raegan and her family and is currently keep them all safe. She wants Jackson to notice her, but he sees someone that is fragile, and she is not that. When danger comes for the entire team, she knows that this is not small time anymore. She is going to have to fight for her life and help the men work out the issue. Can she handle all the pressure? Will she win over Jackson in the end or will they both be lost to the danger?

I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book.

I've always been a fan of the Reed Security books. Jackson is book 14 in the series, and some series when you get this far into them they become not very good. This book is not one of them. I absolutely loved Jackson and I'm dying for Chance.

Jackson is book 2 of a 3 book arc, and has to be read after Snipper and of course before Chance. It could be read as a standalone you just may not get a few things going on.

Jackson and Reagan's story is hilarious and entertaining from start to finish. The banter and WTH moments between the guys of Reed Security leave you laughing out loud. Reagan can definitely hold he own, and I loved that.

The two met when Reagan was rescued and has been living with Jackson for two years. For two years the two have danced around their feelings until they are running for their lives and the mud seems like a good place to go at it.

Giulia wrote another amazing book, with everything we love about Reed Security. She hooks you from start to finish and then leaves you needing more. I don't think I'll ever get tired of these books.

Intense with action and emotions
Attention, spoiler of "Sniper"
Reagan is saved from her almost certain death with her ex boyfriend brigand, thanks to Jackson. Although attracted, he refuses to try to have a relation because he thinks she is still too fragile. But all this complicates a year later with the kidnapping of Morgan and Chance (Sniper). This part is extremely difficult to read because Reed Security is attacked from all sides and the heroes have no idea of the traitor or traitors? Some are in the hospital with serious injurie, moreover, Chapter 10 was very difficult to read because of the attachment I had for the characters. In short it is extremely well written and very moving (well, it's also fun between Reagan and Jackson)
I look forward to the last episode "Chance" because between the setbacks of the agency, the characters of Reagan who discovers that someone wants to kill her, the missing, the dead, this episode is very intense and makes you want to know the end.

The writing and plot are outstanding! I'm inspired to read the rest of the series. In spite of all the warnings, this was my first book. I get it, but the story was still good. The action was spellbinding. Jackson is indeed a good guy. Reagan is a nice woman knocked down but not beaten by ugly circumstances. I admire Reagan's coping skills. She has some really juvenile communication skills that could use some work but she seems to fit in nicely with the team. While her stoic pragmatism is without doubt, and I get she has PTSD, she exhausted me and I didn't find her funny after the first few chapters. Reed Security is amazing and awesome. The interrelationship dynamic is a good foundation for team loyalty. The story brings up front an personal the frailty of human nature and how vulnerable and open we are no matter how strong the foundation to outside influences. Giulia manages that quite nicely! I don't like cliff hangers but you want to see what happens to the team. I received an ARC from Booksprout for a review.

Book 2 of a 3 book arc, this story flows best if read with the others, but enough background is present from book 1 to follow the action without it.

Reed Security is not just a team of special operators post active duty, they are family- women and children included.

Jackson falls for his Reagan when his team comes to rescue her from an abusive gun runner who has delusions of grandeur. Both she and her parents move into his house after the rescue operation. Danger is suspected for her since she recognizes some faces and places from dealings with her dead ex.

Betrayal has come from someone external as well as someone within - but clearly more than a work of a single day.

With team members missing, some critically injured, and personal and team family dynamics strained, the road ahead looks twisted and rough.

The action is steamy and bloody on all fronts.

On the edge of my seat to see what happens next!

Hotter than hot KU read!

Raegan is rescued from an abusive relationship by Reed Security and meets Jackson.
Raegan had been in an abusive relationship with Xavier for several years and over that time he had got more abusive and deeper into the criminal world but when she hears him talking of turning on another crime lord she know that would mean the death of everyone one around him. Sh digs out a hidden burn phone and calls her father for help but Xavier catches her and starts to beat her. By the time the men of Reed Security arrive she is lying still on the floor so they grab her and take her out killing Xavier in the firefight. She comes to in a strange room to find she and her parents are staying in the home of Reed security member Jackson a tall gorgeous hunk. This is the second in three linked books. A fast exciting romance adventure to relax and enjoy.

Once again Giulia nails it with the second book in this 3 book arc. Jackson and Reagan were circling each other from day one. The banter between them was laugh out loud funny with obvious heat.I enjoyed every bit of their story and how all the team were together through this one. Lets not forget the emotions man oh man....this one was probably the hardest for me to read.... the intensity and suspense on every page had me on the edge of my seat waiting to see what would be written on the next page. This book did not disappoint now it did crush me emotionally and then proceeded to redeem itself over and over again. Very well written the usual laughs crying, heat and suspense all wrapped up in one book... definitely need the final part of this 3 book arc to hurry up and give me the conclusion as this one left us wondering...

WOW!! What a fantastic book!! Jackson is book #2 in a 3 book arc in Giulia Lagomarsino's Reed Security Series!!
I absolutely love this entire series and Jackson is no different!! As always the book has an incredible storyline full of amazing characters!! I was hooked from beginning right till the end!! I highly recommend reading the Reed Security series in order as there is alot of backstory weaved throughout each book!!
This is Jackson and Reagan's story and I absolutely loved it!! They have an insane chemistry between them along with being sarcastic and funny!! This book balances the suspense with some great hilarious moments, not just between Jackson and Reagan but with both the men and their crazy women!! I laughed and I cried reading this book and I am so excited for the next book in this series!! I highly recommend this book you will not be disappointed!!

Solid 4.5 star !
I wasn't sure how this 3 book story arc was going to go but with book 2 it was a smooth transition to Jackson's story as well as the continuing saga of the Reed team being under attack. Jackson and Raegan have a love hate relationship where they both have feelings for each other but hate to admit it or act on it until everything goes to hell for Reed Security. We learn more about who might be behind the attack but while we do there is plenty more devastation that occurs that will leave you slack jawed and grabbing the tissues. Be ready for a roller coaster ride of emotions including laughs thanks mostly due to the Reed security crazy ladies, but also loss, mistrust, hope and some crazy twists that leave you wanting the next book but also needing a breather after finishing this one.

A light hearted laugh before the climax

Okay, if you wanted a big story line for Jackson and Raegan, you're really not going to get one. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, but it's not like the rest.

This is book 2 in the three part group. If you've read Sniper you know what went down. The heartache the pain, all that.

This book have you more humor, done loss, heartache, but all in all, you got a great glimpse of Reed. Jackson and Raegan we're the main focus, but you've been handed bits and pieces of what's going on with Chance aka Sniper.

This book was a little lighter to read with the jokes and sarcasm, but if you really look into the story, Reed is crumbling and they need each other more than ever.

Jackson and Raegan make it all better in this book. The light hearted banter, the craziness that goes on between them, and the fact that these two were made for one another. It's not your average Reed book, yet it makes everything so much better so far.

Wow and Wow

Totally amazing. Jackson and Reagan' love story. Their connection from day one. Through all the obstacles trying to stay alive they finally stopped fighting their feeling for each other. She is a hand full and stronger then you think.

This storyline had everything. So many emotions feeling their pain of loss. Love joy laughter sorrow loss survival etc.

Secondary characters also having a chapter allowed us to see and feel their thoughts.
Cap had to make so many difficult decisions to keep his team and families safe from harm. His pain was felt a true leader.

Giulia always adding great humour that made me laugh so hard.

Looking forward to Chance. How Reed Security is going to rebuild, the twists turns they encounter to find Chance and who else is behind wanting to distroy them.
How will Giulia bring it all together? Looking forward to the adventures.

Jackson is reed security book 14 and as always giulia didnt disappoint one bit.
Giulia takes you on one hell of a ride with this book.
Jackson was one amazing guy and the trials he went through to keep all the reed family safe it was beyond anything you've ever read before.
Raegan was one strong woman. She suffered physical abuse for years and almost died.
Jackson has loved raegan for over a year but didnt know how to show it.
There are so many twist and turns in this book that you never saw coming. I cursed alot when i read jackson and thinking how could giulia do that to me. I cried some ugly tears and wanted to throw my kindle. I also laughed alot aswell. All i can say is giulia is a evil genius when she wrote this book.
I highly recommend this book.

Fantastic! This is the 14th story within the Reed Security Romance series and o e would think there isn’t anything that can be said that hasn’t already been read - nope, not true. I didn’t see this one coming and it was terrific. Such a unique and awesome story to read. I’ve enjoyed every single one but they just get better and better. This story is about Jackson and Raegan. Jackson saved Raegan and her family but this time her ex is pulling the strings and Raegan might be in deeper, in a bad way, then she can get out of. Raegan should have gone directly to Jackson but after everything she’s been through, she’s lost and her self esteem took a big hit. This story is filled to the brim with action and suspense and romance. Loved it.

Well...... well, ermmmm I truly don’t want to give any spoilers. So fingers crossed.
Jackson is a continuation of the Reed security series, and book two in a three book .
Dear me this book will drag you through every emotion, truly my husband was so concerned he suggested I may want to stop reading (this was met with snarls, growls and “I am no quitter”).
This story arc is ramping up to be the biggest OMG I have ever read, and I can’t wait to read the next one.
As with all of Giulia’s books the writing is wonderful, allowing the story to flow effortlessly which for readers allows us to just sink into the story.
Sorry I won’t say much more for fear of spoiling it, but I will say READ THIS BOOK ASAP!
