Storm
I had one job, get Jessica "Rabbit" Finley to sell her property to Reed Security. I could do that. I was Army Strong. Hell, I took down bad guys for a living. I could handle this sexy vixen. No problem. Except, she's a little crazy. She thinks that there are ghosts on her property, and she has the men at Reed Security believing her too. But then I found out her history and it had me wondering....Was she really crazy?

Jessica
I've never known who I really am. My family history has been contorted into something that I can only hope to unravel in my lifetime. But then I got a clue that led me to buy this creepy insane asylum. I was told there were answers here and I'm finding them, along with ghosts that still haunt this estate. There's an upside, though. There's a sexy man here to keep me company. But the closer I get to finding my answers, the closer I get to being locked up in the asylum myself.

Thunderstorm and Jessica Rabbit!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Romance: ❤️💙💜💚💖
Steam: 🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📘📙📔
World building: 🌏🌍🌏🌎🌍
Character development: 😠☺️😋🥰😎

The heroine: Jessica (a.k.a. Little Rabbit) - when she was 12, her loving mother was taken away to an asylum when her great-grandfather said she was ill. She grew up living with distant relatives and now that she is older she is looking into her past. She knows her grandmother and mother both spent years in an asylum and her mother killed herself. When she finds out that there are secrets, she buys the abandoned asylum her grandmother was committed to in an effort to find answers.

The Hero: Storm (a.k.a. Thunders) - he has been working for Reed Security for over a year now, when he meets Jessica for the first time, he loves the way she looks and compares her to a real-life Jessica Rabbit. When Reed Security wants to buy the land next to their headquarters, Cap asks Storm and Tony Tacos to get to know the owner who is renovating the old house on the property, which happened to have been used as an insane asylum until closing down in the 1980’s.

The Story: Jessica is only too happy to get two new boarders in her house to help out with the renovations while she checks out the place for clues to her past. She warns them about the fact that there have been ghosts since she has been hearing some strange noises and things have been moving when she is nowhere near them. Though Storm doesn’t believe in ghosts and thinks Jessica is a bit crazy herself, Tony Taco’s is definitely not happy about there being ghosts.

This book was the quintessential Reed Security book. It was funny, sexy, and I just love coming back to this series after being away for a while. I love all the guys and gals of this series so much. The guys are over the top possessive alpha males and the girls are all fun and a bit crazy, but it is a family and like no other series I have found. There is so much humor and there is always a mystery and danger which I love. You just couldn’t ask for more in a story.

This was one of the funniest of the series, I was laughing like crazy especially at Storm’s escapades and the scene where Storm and Jessica are drunk was just so hilarious. It was so funny that I had to stop myself from highlighting every funny quote in the book.

Storm by Giulia Lagomarsino is book 18 in the Reed Security Series. This is the story of Jessica and Storm. I haven't yet read the previous book so for me this was a standalone book. Jessica has come to town and bought a old build that was once a insane asylum but has some family history that she is researching. Storm is is part of the Reed Security group and they want that property that Jessica has. So Storm is going to get her to turn it over but he didn't count on his feelings for her to be so strong. Jessica is looking into the past not looking at her future yet but Storm has now enter her life.
Enjoyed this author's writing.

Addictive from the beginning to the end
As usual with this author, the story is fantastic full of action, twists, with an excellent plot, a romance both hot and hilarious, just like the characters who are still fabulous and funny and courageous, as the story goes from comedy to horror from the beginning to the end.
The beginning of the story is quite surprising this time because it begins in 1954 with a love drama, but it is on this obscure past that Jessica comes to investigate her grandmother in an old asylum that she bought, which seems haunted and she understands that her family history is still very obscure.
The Reed agency will help her indirectly at first, because they want to buy her property to rebuild the agency (because of what happened in the previous stories), but Storm who had already met in a bar Jessica (and had been partly rejected), is very attracted by her, and he takes a room in the asilum just like Tony Taco, to convince her with all their arguments. How Cap, their leader can choose between Tony and Storm: nothing easier, a thumb war. All the humor in this series is in small moments like this where when a situation happens, you never know if the team will say unlikely replicas, crazy and hilarious, do stupid things or take the situation seriously and take out the heavy weapons. Each character seems nut with a few moments when his reason is present, but their, more than doubtful, discussions return to disturb this balance.
Added to this is the old asylum which is a character too, with its secret corridors, its noises, its ghosts.
I had a great time. This episode mixes both the action of previous books, some hot scenes, but moreover, it contains much more humor, especially after everything that happened before.

Wow this book was very serious. Jessica buys the asylum that killed her family. Reed Security wants that property. But when the guys get a look at Jessica it is literally all out war with the single guys for her affection, the banter on how to make the decision on who was going to seduce her into selling the place. But the winner of the thumb war didn't get the girl. Storm has very weird verbal diarrhea. Scares Jessica into screaming at a fake spider to stop him. We hear from other team members Maggie is nine months pregnant again, Cap is as crazy as always. Sinner is currently sticking his foot in his mouth with fat comments. The asylum is literally haunted, Storm thinks Jessica is crazy. Jessica has family issues her grandfather was imprisoned for raping her grandmother, but he was innocent her great great grandparents had influenced the law back then he was not good enough for their daughter. Then after that she was put in the asylum for treatment she didn't need. Then when Jessica's mother started asking the wrong questions she was put in the asylum that's were both women died. Trying to get answers herself Jessica enlists the help of Reed Security. But this book has men with odd ideas about relationships, weird first time sexual experiences and ghosts. Maggie goes into labor threatening all sorts of mayhem, probably because she saw a real ghost got lost in the underground tunnels with Jessica and her water broke. Some smart talking cops. Family reunions years in the making. Big strong Storm has verbal diarrhea again at the thought of committing to Jessica. Then the asylum goes up in smoke when Maggie hits the detonator only to have Storm lose it again when souls of the murdered asylum victims ascend to the sky . We have a HFN ending but it was a fun read.

Giulia has created another fantastic addition to the Reed Security filled with all the things that we’ve come to love from the series.

This story introduces Jessica to the Reed Security scene, a sassy red head currently living in an old asylum whilst she hunts for information about her family’s history. Before we even get to her the first chapter is told from the perspective of her grandmother Ruth and what an attention capturing chapter that was. I really liked the character of Jessica and how easily she fitted in with the rest of the characters from the series.

Reed Security wants to buy the land the asylum sits on and so a meeting ensues to decide which of the men are going to go and charm her which his sparks a competition between Storm and Tony Tacos. This added a nice dynamic to this instalment, getting to see more interactions between just two of the Reed men who were in a fierce but friendly battle to win over Jessica. Storm was a great character that I knew I would love from his first interaction with Jessica when he meets her in a bar and tries to impress her with cheesy pick up lines. If these are the types of things to make you laugh you need to read this for those alone.

Once again put the men of Reed Security together and hilarity will ensue whether it be conversations between them, the back and forth teasing and banter or them going ghost hunting. The moments between the men of Reed Security are what make these books so great. The wives and girlfriends keep getting their moments as well and that scene with the girls and Storm was funny, add in what happened after that conversation and I couldn’t stop laughing.

Like all books in this series Storm is well written, funny and highly entertaining. It’s another page-turner that leaves you counting down the days until the next one.

It is a struggle to find anything this book didn't include! And Storm is just too hot to handle! I feel like this book had everything you could need in a romance. Hot sexy scenes (with one that had me laughing so hard I had tears in my eyes), drama, action, adventure, and a fun addition of spookiness!
I loved the sarcastic, playful, spunky Jessica! She was such a great character. And I loved how she really left the guys grasping in those "what just happened" moments.
Storm was SO hot and I love how real it felt when he let everything get to his head and it affected his whole performance. He just was such the epitome of alpha. And yet he had these fallibities that just made him all the more amazing. I really liked how he second guesses himself. Makes him feel so much more genuine and, therefore, so much more appealing!
As always the scenes with the other characters were awesome and really just the cherry on top to an amazing story. The whole not being able to slam a smartphone down on a receiver was awesome! I was laughing hysterically. Each book has me chomping at the bit for the next! I just can't wait to see what happens next!

Storm and Jessica. What can I say? Giulia has pulled another smashing story out her brain and onto the page.

There's a storm brewing here and it isn't just the man's emotions. There's a few twists and turns, as usual, and I felt every one of them.

The banter between the guys in Reed Security is hilarious as usual, how they get away with the shit they do, well I just don't how they do it but it's certainly entertaining for the reader. Storm has a very amusing conversation with the wives of Reed Security too, even I was shaking my head at that one!

Jessica is a strong woman, full of sass and she easily fits in with the ladies, and gents, of Reed Security.

Storm, another former military, alpha male Reed security employee, has been tasked with convincing the neighbor to sell her land so that Reed security can complete their rebuild and expansion mission. Jessica, a sassy red head who used her inheritance to buy an abandoned insane asylum while investigating family secrets, isn’t quite ready to part with her chance to find her family’s history.

This is another hilarious trip into the Reed security firm and their security missions and shenanigans. Lagomarsino has a special ability to make her books entertaining, fun, and light hearted even though they typically have more serious undertones. Another good edition to this Reed security series.

Reed Security wants to expand and renovate and the only thing standing in their way is that neighbor isn’t interested in selling. There was an internal competition as to who would get the opportunity to convince Jessica to sell and Storm has emerged as the winner.

Jessica bought the property with the sole intention of trying to find out what really happened in the past but the more time she spends there the more she is questioning her own sanity. Storm is determined to help her but when they become roommates that the fun really begins.

It is always great to catch up with the characters of Reed Security and this story is no exception. Witty banter, hot chemistry, suspense and all the feels as Jessica and Storm navigate their feelings for each other.

This is the 18th book in this phenomenal series, and is Storm and Rebecca’s story. Rebecca has just purchased a property which used to be an insane asylum, and the guys at Reed want to buy it from her, and Storm is who they send to convince her. This gifted author amazes me that her stories just seem to get better and better! This is a well written story which is fun, humorous, with crazy witty banter, which all leads to an all round entertaining read, which have me totally captivated throughout this addictive page turner. I highly recommend for all.

Fun, sexy mexy, plenty of action and yes at times tears.

This is by far the best series and the offspring series I have read this year.

The complex threads that Giulia weaves her stories, and her characters keeps you coming back for more. You will be riveted to the pages and find that hours have passed by the time you manage to pull yourself away.

You will laugh your arse off when you are not sweating through the action.

Good read with creepy elements

I write my reviews for myself. I read a lot of books and I have friends that read a lot of books and sometimes we overlap our books and have discussions. But I don't always remember what I read, because I read so much. So I tend to put spoilers in my reviews. This review will be no different. Eventually.

Overall I am really on the fence with this author. The books are hit or miss. And this one was okay. The story was good, though all the books have had typos. At least they weren't so crazy to where I couldn't understand the story.

While I enjoyed this story, I did not have that extra pizzazz. Something was missing. Or maybe it was just the fact that they were dealing with ghosts And it was more creepy than the other books. I don't really do creepy or scary. This book had those elements.

I also didn't understand why Storm let them take Jessica either. And I don't understand why Maggie didn't bring that up to Cap. Maggie new why she was there so her story was consistent with what you would expect. And Maggie has no problems telling Cap things. So it was weird She didn't mention what Jessica was doing there. I mean, she was exploring dark tunnels with Jessica while nine months pregnant after all.

So overall, the story was definitely better than some of the others, but not mind blowing.

I was disappointed that night didn't have a bigger role in this book either. He is definitely one of my favorite characters but didn't have any sort of opinion on the haunted house aspect. Maybe that's why it fell a little short for me too. 🤷🏼‍♀️

There have been times throughout the series that I've really felt these guys are so very immature given their age. I mean, they had a thumb war to determine who would get to woo Jessica. And even though he lost, storm still got the girl.

When I originally started the series, I wanted to make it to Lola's book. And there were some really horrible books at the beginning. At this point, I've learned some more about the new characters and I'm intrigued. Though I really thought the one book had Tony getting Becky's interest, but now it seems like Coop has the in with her. So I can't keep up. Lol

And I'm not sure why Florrie needs her own book. So that will be semi interesting too. At this point, I'm vested enough to finish the series, though I definitely would not recommend it to others.

I will not likely read any more books in this series and this was the first I read even though it’s #18. The characters were only skin deep throughout the majority of the book. I felt that I really knew very little about them until the very end. The nicknames of everyone were terrible… Jessica Rabbit, Tony Tacos, Superman, Sinner… the list goes on. The language throughout the book was ridiculous, vulgar, and quite insulting most of the time with all the men only focusing on ass, tits, and fucking. It isn’t that I thought the language was offensive, it’s more so that it came across as trying too hard to “think like a guy” or something when even most men are not that ridiculous in the way they talk. I felt that there really wasn’t ever a good reason given for the great-grandfather sending his only daughter to an asylum for life and her fiancé to prison for 30 years… no father would do that just to save their reputation. It was a stupid reason. There were also typos in the book which is slightly irritating though I only noticed a few - things like missing articles here and there rather than anything that changed the meaning of the sentences or made them difficult to understand.

The only reason I am giving it two stars instead one is that it did make me laugh during the first “sex” or “non-sex” scene. Then again it could have been that I read that part somewhere between 2 and 3 A.M. I also thought it had a potentially good storyline, though it was very poorly executed.

Will I read more from this author? Probably not. Will I reread this book again? Again… probably not.. at least not until I have had sufficient time to forget how bad it was.

I just can't get enough of the Reed men and their antics. every book I read runs me through so many emotions, I laugh out loud, sometimes cry with the emotional message in each book, but most of all I enjoy every page and this book, Storm is no different. The men all have some seriously weird quirks and this is shown in the stories. I love the underline message that is in every book, from PTSD/ Alcoholism/ compulsiveness/ dealing with Cancer and many more, it really makes you think about these and understand them a lot more. Storm has he's own set of problems and quirks and this book is another gem. Please read the books in order of the series as you won't get the benefit as there is a constant story all the way through about these fabulous men and their ladies..

Insanity!!

Her grandmother and her mother were both wrongly put away for supposedly being insane. What does Jessica do? She buys the old asylum where her grandmother had been taken to at the age of 18. She is searching for answers and what she is finding are ghosts!! Enter Storm of Reed Security. His boss wants him to woo Jessica and convince her to sell the property to Feed Security. Of course, Storm doesn't believe there are such things as ghosts. This leads to some hilarious moments involving the rest of his teammates as they do some "ghostbusting" . I laughed until I was crying those scenes were so funny. What wasn't funny is Jessica is forced into clinic because she is crazy too. Can Storm save her in time?

Storm and Jessica

Storm is a great addition to this series. Absolutely loved Storm and Jessica "Rabbit" Finley. Storm is your typical alpha male who can't talk about his feelings. Jessica is his dream girl but she believes in ghost. Storm and Taco have to convince Jessica to sell her Asylum along with land to Reed Security. Storm will gain more than teammates, he will gain a family and maybe a few ghosts. Jessica is on a mission to find the answers regarding her grandmother and mother's death. The closer she gets, the scarer things happen to her. Storm will have save Jessica and win her love. Great banter between all characters, loved the ghost screnes. Lots of laughs and ahhhs moments. Happy Reading 📚

Wow this was a good one. Jessica comes to town trying to figure out about her past. Her grandmother and her mom both wound up in asylums and both died there too. So she buys the old asylum property and starts looking for clues. Meanwhile Sebastian wants that property to expand Reed Security. So he enlists Storm to woo her and get her to sell it to them. But Storm has his own demons that he’s trying to get through and has commitment issues because of his passed. There are a lot of spooky things that happen while they stay to find Information. Lol it is quite funny. You still get the banter from the guys. This was an awesome read.

ghosts, guns, and guffaws

Jessica and Storm build their relationship the easy way - listening to the girls and guys on just about everything - which is why it gets so jacked up! LOL
Living in a haunted house is bad enough but add to the suspense of what happened to those people… (shudders)
Ironically, I’ve been called Jessica Rabbit too - unfortunately, not anyone as hot as Storm
Good read - I couldn’t stop!
I love the guys talking about the rules (I took notes so I don’t violate the shower rule 😂😅) and Maggie delivering a baby is always a treat 😂

I actually liked this one!
Jessica isn’t a part of Reed Security and I like that part. I love that she’s who she is. Wish it would have been more in depth with her. She just showed up one day and we meet Wallace and that’s it?

Storm- wish his character would have been a little bit more in depth. He was pretty superficial for being the MMC and I wish we would have dived more in to his war trauma. Just one story about Mikey and bam! Back together with his parents.

The scenes with the ghosts were amazing. I loved seeing the guys and how they reacted.

A lot of laughs

Laughed a lot with this book. There are some many funny parts wether it's the guys arguing over ghosts and how to deal with them or it's Storms dirty talk while trying to have sex with Jessica. I think Jessica is a perfect fit for the Reed Security family. I really enjoyed this book especially the mystery that Jessica is trying to solve. Love the men and women of Reed Security.

Weird!

Ok on the one hand I literally laughed me head off at some points it was hilarious, but the actual storyline was gut wrenching and sick! The characters were...odd just weirdly odd. The men were cavemen...but so were the women. There's a few sex scenes that had no spark or any kind of connection what so ever, and if I'm being honest the dialogue was really childish. Written in the first person, so loads of different characters pov. Found it free but really weird.

Great!

I chose this rating because this was actually a pretty great book. I really enjoy pretty much all of the characters. This was a book of protection, compassion, Information, and getting back what belongs to you. I really enjoy Storm and Jessica story. I think they made a very interesting couple. I think the author did a great job with putting these characters together. Great read! I recommend this book to all romance readers.

The Past

Jessica is determined to figure out her past and what happened to her mother and grandmother. What she finds at the abandoned asylum just doesn't sit right with her. When Storm and Tony show up to be her borders she is relieved to not be alone anymore. Except things keep getting creepier. Should she leave the past alone? Or can she discover what really happened before it's too late?

Storm and Jessica Rabbit

I loved this one! Storm loses the thumb war but gets to Jessica’s house first in order to seduce her and convince her to sell her property to Reed Security. Lots of fun things going on as Storm and Jessica get to know each other. Lots of action, suspense, ghosts, an insane asylum, Maggie and Jessica go on a mission (yep that leads to trouble), a manual with rules for dating and plenty of steam.

I really live these guys they want to kill and eat each other, until someone messes with one of them then it's all for one. Storm won, he would woo Jessica if that was even possible and get her to sell the property until ghosts appeared. Fast intense crazy loved it.

Brilliant ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I loved this book, I don't think I have laughed this much while reading a book for ages. I would definitely recommend giulia books, she always manages to keep it fresh and unique. With a long series and so many characters, you know who everyone is and they don't blur into one. I loved the ghost scenes with the whole reed gang.

Looking for the truth...

is how it all started. Jessica is on a mission and doesn't want anything to stop her... but when she has to deal with ghosts things get a whole lot scarier. Storm on the other hand doesn't believe in ghosts, but his mission has him dealing with Jessica who does. Will they both find the answers and get what they want???
Happy reading : )
