Jules is the 12th book in the Reed Security series. It is recommended that they are read in order.

Julian swore he would always love her. He said he would never leave her. He's about to break that promise. If only she would listen. If only she would trust him. But how much crap can one man take? It's time to move on.

Ivy wants Julian more than anything, but she's won't trust anyone with her secrets. Now it's too late. He doesn't want her, but she needs him more than ever. If only she could make him understand. If only she had told him sooner how she felt, but that train has left the station and her life is going to hell. She should have told him she loved him when she had the chance.

Man with Amnesia!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Romance: 💋💋💋💋💋
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📙📕📗📘📔
World building: 🌎🌏🌍🌎🌏
Character development: 👨🏻👱🏻‍♀‍🧔🏻👩🏻👱🏼‍♂‍

The heroine: Ivy - she has been in a few previous books as Emma’s best friend and former roommate. Emma runs a bookstore and Ivy runs the coffee shop and bakery that is in the bookstore. Ivy has been a free-spirit though she is hiding from something in her past.

The Hero(es): Julian (Jules) - he is a member of Reed Security and on a team with Chris and Ice. He grew up in foster care after his parents abandoned him and he never found a home or family until he came to Reed Security.

The Story: Jules and Ivy began hooking up around the same time as Burg and Emma though Burg and Emma became serious about each other right away, Jules and Ivy kept their relationship more like just a regular hookup. Though they began spending more and more time together until Jules demanded to know about Ivy’s past and she wasn’t willing to tell him.

The thing is that Ivy’s past isn’t that bad. However, in her history nobody ever believed her and/or believed in her, especially the people that were supposed to love her so she was determined to put it behind her and didn’t want to bring it up. When Jules gets injured and nearly killed, Ivy realizes that she was wrong. However, it is too late because Jules has no memory of her or what they shared together.

This book is an interesting one because there is a threat, but nobody knows it. When they finally figure it out, they can’t find the threat and it might just be too late for Ivy. This book was also the most hilarious one so far. I’ve said it before, but I have to say it again, these tough muscular alpha males have the best gossip sessions about their women and the scene with the wax was awesome.

Once again this author puts out a book that hits all your emotions. I found myself crying from the get go then angry when Jules forgot his life and Ivy realized she made a mistake.... as usual it took lots of bumps and bruises for them to find the path to each other. Reed security was there for every step of Jules and Ivy journey. This story had me feeling so much I laughed so much and then cried just as much. This author always delivers a story that has you feeling so much at one time that you can’t put the book down until the very last page!! I will say I will never view waxing in the same way ever again thanks to the antics of reed security men...

Every book in this series gets better , I love the funny remarks all the guys make to each other .
Julian and Ivy their story is not an easy one she has a secret that she is scared to tell anyone.
Even the man she loves with all her heart and now that he has decided to walk away she realizes her mistake.
These two have a lot to work out if they can.
I love this story just like the others .

Fun, sexy mexy, plenty of action and yes at times tears.

This is by far the best series and the offspring series I have read this year.

The complex threads that Giulia weaves her stories, and her characters keeps you coming back for more. You will be riveted to the pages and find that hours have passed by the time you manage to pull yourself away.

You will laugh your arse off when you are not sweating through the action.

Intriguing, exciting, hot and funny at times. The relationship between the guys in Reed Security will have you laughing and then you will see the strong bond between them as they stand watch over Jules who is severely injured in one of their ops. That bond continues as they try and help him recover not only physically but mentally as he has lost his memory. He recalls his buddies because he recognizes their faces, but when he looks at a tired and drained Ivy, he has no idea who she is; and because he doesn't remember her he orders her to leave his room.

The story really picks up steam when Jules returns home after having his final surgery. Recovering and going through PT, he finally asks Ice about Ivy. He doesn't remember her, but there is something about her, and from what little the guys have told him, they had history. Maybe talking to her would help him remember her?

The characters are wonderfully written and so likeable that you really wish you were a part of their world. Jules is strong, but so confused as to his past, his current and exactly who he is. Ivy is beautiful and loves Jules very much, but it was her secret that caused him to walk away from her to begin with. Now, she'd give anything to have that time back, to have her Jules back. The supporting characters are amazing. Each and everyone of them add to the story and to the personal relationships between the lead characters.

The storyline does not disappoint as it flows freely and effortlessly; drawing you and and not letting you go until you reach the end. And the end will have you laughing out loud. I don't think I will ever forget that ending.

A wonderful entertaining and intriguing read and I highly recommend this book!

OH MY HELL I AM WRECKED! Giulia Lagomarsino has torn me apart again, and not in the same way she has in other books, but messed with my heart just the same! Jules loves Ivy and Ivy loves Jules, but she pushed him away because she can't trust him with her past secrets that I won't talk about for spoiler reasons. Next thing I know, he's involved in a mission which leaves him badly injured and no memory of his life. He recognizes his buddies faces but not their names, but they call Ivy, and she rushes up there. Jules doesn't recognize anything about her so he orders her to leave. So now, Ivy knows how badly she messed up not giving him what they both wanted, especially now that she needs him so much. This journey was something else, because it wasn't like Jules miraculously got his memory back & they walked off into the sunset. He hurt her a lot, and yeah, some of it was because of the injury, but some of it was uncalled for in my opinion. There was a ton going on behind the scenes which provided some HUGE twists that kept me dropping LOUD f-bombs throughout, and had me really close to hating him for real, and some of the other Reed Security guys also made my junk punching list as well. Of course it wouldn't be these guys if there wasn't some silly scene that had me rolling in laughter, and this time wax was involved, but I've learned not to drink beverages while reading this series so my insane laughter didn't include spitting out my drink. And there was even a bonus round of laughing between Ivy & her bestie's dropping of secrets, which made sure my stomach & sides hurt now from more. I hope this series isn't over because I LOVE it so much, and HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Ivy has been disappointed by people, which makes it tough to trust. Julian “Jules” Siegrist wants to take care of someone he really cares about. He also cares a lot for those he works with. It was nice to catch up with some of the other characters that I’ve come to know. It’s a great way to keep the reader’s interest in this series.

In this latest addition, we see how much they all seem to be one big family. It gives you a sense of what our first responders must feel and go through. On the other side we have Ivy. She’s a woman with secrets who’s under stress and then finds out something that will literally change her life. She has some apprehension that I think a lot of us would feel if we were in her shoes.

Parts of this story are pretty sad so keeping tissue close at hand might be a good idea. Our author won’t let things get too heavy – quite often we get to chuckle at Jules’ expense. Other chuckle moments come when his friends/coworkers give him some advice. One scene just may have you saying “really?” It’s not all about Jules either. Ivy’s history makes an appearance, even as we get toward the end. That’s part of the page-turner moments because how can she be happy with that hanging over her head. The author does such a great job that she makes it seem so believable. Her stories just get better and better and so do her endings. The ending was very creative and I could not, in any way, hold my laugh in. I’m ready for more. Who’s next? Can’t wait!

I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.

Since these two got together in ‘Burg’ and we knew the secret being kept from Jules and how Jules seemed more invested in the idea of it becoming more I’ve been wanting to see how their relationship would pan out.

Jules is strong, commanding and kind hearted. He cares deeply for those he considers family and is ready to make that ultimate sacrifice for them. Ivy is a strong, confident and independent character whose been rebuilding her life and trying to trust again. In previous appearances Ivy and Julian made they seemed like if they could just get past their differences, they may get to experience something great. The opportunity to experience this seems just on the horizon when their chance for a forever is taken from them and the road back to it won’t be easy. Their journey takes an unexpected turn that tugs at the heartstrings and will leave readers frustrated and wishing for things to work out.

The action in ‘Jules’ takes a backseat to the tough journey both characters find themselves on but when all is revealed you start noticing how the action and drama has been hiding in plain sight all along. Giulia’s writing flows freely and beautifully from the pages in a way that will have readers engaged and connecting with the characters. The wider cast of characters add some great moments to the narrative that not only show how much of a family all these characters are but the length that they are willing to go to help one of their own.

As always there is romance, humour, action, and just that little bit of suspense to keep you hooked. Another great addition to this series.

Title: Jules (Reed Security #12)
Author: Giulia Lagomarsino
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

ARC received in return for an honest review.

Whilst on a mission Jules sustains various injuries which see him incapacitated for a good while, amongst those injuries he finds himself struggling to remember those around him, he does eventually start remembering situations and those around him apart from Ivy the woman he’s spent 2yrs with in a type of friends with benefits relationship which wasn’t without it’s own issues.

The accident puts things into perspective for Ivy with regards to her feelings towards Jules yet he doesn’t remember her and is actually quite aggressive and angry towards her at first but they do start to spending time together and Jules starts getting to know Ivy all over again however she’s not being 100% honest with him, there’s something she’s keeping from him and when he finds out his anger soars again.

Can this pair get their love back on track or will they be forever doomed? Read this amazing book by the extremely talented Ms Lagomarsino and find out for yourself, you won’t be disappointed.

This was another fantastic addition to a brilliant series, filled with angsty moments, heat and plenty of the usual humour which surrounds the bunch of misfits who are a family known as Reed Security.

Cazzo (Reed Security, #3)
Knight (Reed Security, #4)

Lola (Reed Security, #8)
Ice (Reed Security #9)
Burg: A Reed Security Romance (Reed Security #10)

This is Ivy and Julian (Jules)'s story. He swore to her he would love her forever. But she refuses to trust him. He told her he would never leave but everyone has a breaking point. He is about to break all the promises he made and break himself in the process. She knows she should have let him in and revealed her secrets but now it’s too late. He left and she never told him. Now she has to pick up the pieces. When he is injured, he forgets her altogether. Now she is truly on her own. Can he ever remember her, or will this be the end of anything they ever had? If they reconnect will she ever tell him her secrets or will they be at the breaking point yet again? Lots of twists and turns that will keep you on the edge off your seat.

I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book.

Not my favorite book, but good.

A few spoilers ahead, but it's more of a 4.5 star review but I rounded down. I feel like Jules/Julian should have gotten his memory back about Ivy by the end of the book. I would have liked that to be revealed and have his full feelings for Ivy come out.

The book was a bit predictable in the sense she was set up. I assumed it was the smoothie when she got angry at the diner.

I was wondering why their child was named John Christopher Hudson, but then it made sense since Ice and Chris were the ones that helped them on the road over at Knights house. The dual names kills me. And having the cast of characters listed at the beginning of the books is so helpful. I'm not sure why some of the books have them and others don't. Sigh.

I still love Knight. He's probably my favorite character. So having him in the series is just fantastic. I enjoy all of them working together and as a whole. Though I'm not a fan of all the individual books.

I am still confused about the next three books... Sniper Jackson and Chance. I don't think I'll read beyond them since I don't really know those characters much. Unless the upcoming books really pull me inyo the new guys. I really just wanted to read to Lola. Lol but I keep reading... Just keep reading... Just keep reading. (thank you Dory in the book for that one. Lol)

4.5 Stars of awesome!

I was really surprised by this book. I knew going in that the author wasn’t going to give me a book that I expected. She was going to surprise me and give me something that I didn’t think about. And I will definitely say that she threw some surprises at me that I was not expecting with this book. When it comes to intrigue and manipulation, I do believe that this book really hit it out the park.

I have liked the character of Jules for a while and I felt that both Jules and Ivy definitely belonged together, but I didn’t expect the secret that she had or how it would take such a hold over her and why she did things. Jules has always been very confident, but this book put him through the wringer. And he and Ivy …. Wow. Sometimes I wasn’t sure if it was going to work with them, but they managed to pull it out.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book. The depth of the plot and the numerous levels of intrigue that peppered its pages was very well done. It kept me entertained and kept me second guessing. The author did a great job in keeping me on my toes and not sure of what was going on. Overall, I think this was an awesome book and a great addition to this series. So, two thumbs up and happy reading!

Exciting and dramatic romance for a good part, and so strong !
Extremely moving. I loved it because I was completely with the characters, whether it was Julian's feeling of rejection of Ivy when he got out of a coma and did not recognize her, or that it was Ivy's pain. The book is extremely well written and it is not the violence of the actions that is difficult to read, but the violence of the feelings.
Ivy discovers she is pregnant and has to deal with the pregnancy and Julian who does not know who he is and who even forgot what a hospital is. In this series, we should not expect an end where they spend time together and the memory comes back to him ... ..no, everything is much more complicated : Between the total or partial amnesias of the heroes, the inexplicable behaviors of Ivy pregnant, desperate and loving who becomes suddenly a possible criminal, and a Julian who has no idea of the tough guy he was and who is trying to discover who he was, asking his colleagues advice on romantic relationships (most of the time they are bad advices, but humorous enough). In short, it was perfect.

Getting the call that Jules was injured Ivy rushes to see him, realising that he did walk out but seeing the picture he had with him, he still cared. Ivy made the decision to tell him everything when he woke up, the problem he had no idea who she was.
Ivy realises that she needs to get away but feels that she needs to let Jules know she’s going and if he needs to talk, she will be there.
Jules starts remembering more and more but not about Ivy, when he gets pushed to see her, after talking to her and letting her know he didn’t want to see her and break her heart if he couldn’t remember, he decides to stay with her at the cabin, to see if they can get to know each other again.
Ivy comes up with the idea that they start again, they’ve met after a one-night stand, with no pressure, but can Jules remember what they had, or will Ivy be left on her own again.
As always, the boys from Reed Security off their advice, and it leaves Jules at times even more confused, but they also show that they are family and would do anything for each other.

This is the twelfth book in the "Reed Security" series by Giulia Lagomarcino. I say it with each book but this one is the best so far. They just seem to get a pinch of something more with each one she writes. This is the story of Jules and Ivy who have been in a friends with benefits relationship for about two years now. Everyone is pairing up and Jules is feeling like he wants more too, but Ivy doesn't trust him with her secrets. How can he stay with someone who doesn't trust him? That would be the question of the day, but then Jules gets hurt on a mission and loses his memory. Even as things start coming back, he has no recollection of her at all. In Giulia Lagomarcino style, we have all the down to earth personalities of these characters we've grown to love plus those we've just met and have yet to make a determination on. The plot runs through a storyline that's filled with action, adventure, drama, intrigue, humor like only Reed Security can pull off, and love. I just love when Giulia releases a new book in this series.

OMG! What an emotional story. Ivy and Jules have been an item for 2 yrs but she is hiding her past from him and won’t let him in to help her. She pushes Jules away even though she loves him dearly. Then when Jules is on a mission, it all goes writing wrong. He sacrifices himself to help Chris and Ice.blow up the tunnel to finish their mission. Taking on multiple bullet wounds, Jules is pinned beneath the cement walls that came down. The last thing he saw was the picture he pulled from his vest of him and Ivy together and the calmness that came over him with the love he had for her before the darkness took him. When he finally wakes up in the hospital, he doesn’t know who he is or his teammates or the green eyed woman with tears in her eyes.
There’s so much going on in this book from pain, suffering, heartbreak, drama, suspense, murder and of course, numerous antics of the Reed Security men. Another fantastic read from Giulia. A real page turner and a must read.

This was quite a story! A woman named Ivy had dated a man who used a bomb to kill a lot of people. Even though she had nothing to do with the bombing, many people hated her because of the loss of their loved ones. Later she falls in love with a Reed Security man (Jules) who gets badly injured while trying to rescue some women who were being trafficked. He loses his memory and can't remember the two year he spent with Ivy, or his love for her. Then things start to happen to Ivy that seem to implicate her in mysterious crimes and Jules has to decide if she is guilty or not. It would have helped my enjoyment of the story to have more clues as to who is responsible for pinning these crimes on Ivy, but there are plenty of dramatic events at the end for the reader to enjoy. I highly recommend this book!

Another fantastic book in Giulia Lagomarsino's Reed Security Series!!
Jules is book #12 in the series and can be read as a standalone but I highly recommend reading the series right from the beginning!!

They started with a friends with benefits relationship but Jules wanted more, when Ivy wouldn't reveal her secrets Jules has no choice but to walk away!! During a mission he is injured and looses his memory!! He starts to regain his memory and recognizes his friends but has no memory of Ivy!! Ivy knows she screwed up not trusting Jules and all she wants is him back but is it to late for their HEA?? You will have to read it to find out!! This book has emotion, humor, heat, secrets, love and chemistry all my favorites!! The bond between the guys is one of my favorite parts!! This book had a fantastic ending that trust me you will never forget!! I highly recommend this book and the series!!

If you have not read this author, you are missing out in my opinion. I absolutely loved this book, to be honest the whole series is more than worth the read. This group of guys in the Reed Security series will capture your heart, I love the comradery and the banter between these guys is so much more that coworkers. This is a second chance story between Jules and Ivy. What was only supposed to be a friends with benefits casual thing reveals that both characters want more. But Ivy isn't willing to share her secrets with Jules, this obviously causes its own set of issues. However, Jules gets hurt on a mission and Ivy comes running to help him but he has no recollection of who she is. This is a great story that is not always smooth sailing but worth reading each and every word til the last page. I highly recommend reading this book and everything else this author has released.

I have read all of Guilia's books in this series and her previous series 'For the love of a good woman' and I don't know how she does it.... every book is better than the last and keeps you wanting more. Jules is fantastic, it's full of laughs / tears/ and of course plenty of sexy men, there's also a serious side to her books as well that really gets to the point and makes you understand, this one is no different and deals with Jules receiving a serious head injury and how he deals with getting better and the fall out of he's relationship, but don't get me wrong it has some sad bits but it's written so well that you can't stop reading and when you get to the funny parts you will really laugh. I couldn't stop reading and had to read it in one go...….. absolutely fantastic, can't wait for the next in the series...

This is book 12 in the Reed Security series. It is recommended to read the previous ones just to try and know all the characters and what Reed Security is all about. Jules loves Ivy, but she can't trust him with her past secrets so she pushed him away. When Jules goes on a mission he is badly injured with no memory of his life. He recognizes his friends and coworker's faces but not their names. His coworkers call Ivy to let her know Jules has been injured. But when she rushes up there. Jules doesn't recognize her so he tells her to leave him. This crushes Ivy and now she knows she messed up with Jules in not being with him. And now Ivy really needs him. Such angst and heartbreak within this story along with humor and some twists. Never get disappointed with this series and definitely recommend these books!

I have been patiently waiting for Jules and Ivy’s story and WOW is the first word that comes to mind. This is one of those stories that is really hard to review because I don’t want to give anything away but what these two go through trying to find their path to forever felt like being on a winding switchback road at maximum speed. The crazy things that happened to them both. The emotional rollercoaster each new obsticle took me on was crazy. Of everything I have read in each of the books in this series this one was without a doubt the one that made me say from beginning to end that these two more than deserved their HEA. I highly recommend each and every book in this series. Very entertaining. Very worth your precious reading time.

I was blown away by this book. Ivy was such a strong heroine, but her softer side really finally showed here. It made her so easy to connect with throughout the entire book. I was also so torn for Jules too. At times I wanted to smack him and other times I wanted to comfort him. Their story went through so much that it had me rooting for them even more than ever! Until everything was played out I just wasn't sure what the truth was and I was gripped to see what the outcome would be! All the twists and turns to this story made it such a page turner and I really wasn't sure how it would end or what to believe until the whole truth came out! What a crazy ride that I loved every minute of! Each story in this series seems to take me further and further into the fold of these characters. I am hooked!

Giulia as once again given us another amazing book. I loved every thing about this book her writing style is phenomenal.

Jules and ivy have been together for 2 years but ivy couldnt commit jules. She is hiding a secret. A secret that lead to certain things that start happening to her.

Jules goes on a mission and ends up in a very bad accident. So bad that he suffers with amnesia. He doesn't remember who ivy is.

As the events unfold in this book you get to see a side of jules that you've never seen before. All the reed security men play major rolls in this book.
Giulia is amazing at what she writes.
Thank you for this book it truly was phenomenal.
I highly recommend this book you won't be disappointed.

This is the 12th book in the Reed Security series - 12! Normally, when a series is past 6 or 7 the stories start to blend, become a bit repetitive, they loose some of their lustre but not with this one. This book, book 12 is my fav so far and I pretty much think that after every one. Each story has it’s own unique storyline or plot or characters. This story is about Jules and Ivy. They have been in a friends with benefits relationship for about two years now. Everyone in their group is pairing up and Jules is feeling a push to pair up too. Ivy doesn’t trust him fully and this is causing trouble between them. Jules is wounded on a mission and loses his memory. He has no memory of Ivy even as other things come back to him. A delightful and deliciously entertaining read.

Another terrific addition to the Reed Security series. Jules is such a hero, only thinking of his brothers and not concerned with his own safety when a mission comprises the team. His last thoughts are of Ivy, the love he lost. How could she let her secrets keep them apart? She rushes to his side and takes a hit from Ice when he learns her secret. How could he? Jules and Ivy's love for each other cannot be denied...until he wakes up. Argh! The storyline brought something different to the series and poor Ivy takes the brunt of Jules' condition. Will these two pull it together for their happy ending? Excellent writing with lots of emotion and this fantastic group of Reed Security hunks as they rally around Jules in his time of need. I'm looking forward to the next installment from this wonderful author. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC.

Ivy didn't trust Julian with her secrets afraid that they'd make him leave her; but her lack of trust pushed him away anyway... and now he's at his deathbed after getting shot several times on a mission and she regrets not opening up.
Each new book I read by Giulia Lagomarsino has me more & more impressed by her as she weaves such realistic and captivating tales about writes of heroines who can hold their own and heroes dying to hold them, about the bonds between Reed Security teammates as they face each new stage together, about loveable deep characters who together get over their insecurities as they open up to the healing power of love.
You definitely won't be disappointed if you one-click this one and will want to read it in one sitting. Couldn't put it down.

I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
