This story follows the familiar path of a butterfly from egg to adult. What sets it apart is the simple, yet detailed narrative, and the beautiful illustrations. The narrative uses appropriate vocabulary and gives enough information to not lose young readers. A great non-fiction resource for kids interested in the life cycle of a butterfly.

This book is about the life cycle of a butterfly, and is a great book to use for young children. It is easy to understand, and the pictures help tell what is happening. This could be a great book to use in the classroom because it explains how a caterpillar turns into a butterfly well, and it is not so long that it will keep the attention of the students.
