Rate this book
Whether you like it or not, we are sentient beings riddled with emotions as we live our day to day. Sometimes our feelings work to our advantage and sometimes they don’t. Most often, however, they bring us to a point of no return, where we have no other choice but to face the sad consequences of how we acted based on our strong sentiments. Are you tired of this? Do you ever wish that we can just go on with our lives without being CONTROLLED by our moods and passions? Have you ever felt that if only your feelings were to stay in the back burner of your heart and not creep out from time to time, then you will be able to live a life that is OBJECTIVE enough to help you succeed in your goals? The truth is that the trouble is not with how we were created, like what you would have surmised from the questions above. The way to put up a fight and come out victorious when it comes to overwhelming emotions is to CHOOSE and RESOLVE not to react that way you instinctively would under normal circumstances. Yes, we are people built with a HEART that can FEEL. In fact, it’s what makes us HUMANS. But we are also individuals created with a MIND so potent that it can TAKE CONTROL over these emotions. We do have a CHOICE on how we will RESPOND to circumstances around us that threaten to ruffle our feathers, throw us off track. This book that you hold in your hands will enlighten both your heart and mind to the truth that INSIDE you lie the VERY THINGS that you need to live a better life. A life that refuses to be wrecked with emotions; a life FREE from the sad effects of REACTING versus RESPONDING. Flip through the pages and dip into the secrets embedded in this wonderful book.

Short but very helpful

There are some very helpful concepts here, but it doesn’t quite feel finished. It’s great for a quick (1 hour or less) correction to one’s emotional path, and that’s perfect for some situations. But some of the ideas seem to need a bit more fleshing out. As well, it needs a bit of better editing. I still recommend it highly.
