"A Secret to Bind Them Together" is a historical romance novel of approximately 60,000 words. No cheating, no cliffhangers, and a guaranteed happily ever after.
This is a well written historical western romance between Tessa and Henderson. The characters are strong and the story is interesting with the surprise they have when they come together. I loved the story line and watching them overcome many obstacles to find their HEA. The story moves fluidly with her descriptive and detailed writing. I would recommend this book.

Tessa can't believe her uncle Joe is back and he seems to be most helpful? She can't get over the fact that her father didn't trust him and how he was dead after uncle Joe's last visit. Henderson is back after getting his law degree! Only his father is determined to get him married off! So he places a mail order bride ad under his middle name and his mother's maiden name so he will only receive honest inquiries since his family is well known in Wyoming. Unbeknownst to either Tessa or Henderson, her uncle answers the ad and begins a correspondence after he and her mother are wed. Things keep getting worse for Tessa as the days wear on since her uncle perceives her as "sassing" him at every turn! It gets so bad that the doctor has to be summoned after she collapses, not once but twice in the same day from lack of food. After she has recovered enough he Informs the family that she will be taking the train the next morning for Chicago to meet her future husband! What will happen when Tessa and Henderson meet in Chicago? What happens when they return home to Wyoming? How will her uncle react? Only one way to find out, read this great story by Mia Dunham.
A Secret to Bind Them Together A Historical Western Romance w
This is a very good story written by a new author but the story is about Tessie Baker and her uncle sends her to Chicagoas a mail order bride but to her surprise her groom to be Henderson was from a ranch in her hometown The couple loved each other but her family was mistreated by her uncle There are twists and turns but the family is safe. The characters are realistic and strong and The extended epilogue shows just how the characters are in their life
Charming story. This is a really good story and I enjoy every minute of reading it. This is a new author for me and I look forward to reading more work by her. Tessa and Henderson were likable characters and the villain was great. If you like historical westerns this is a good book to read. I am happy to recommend this book.
This story about an independent hard working young woman is great. Tessa is a wonderful character and Henderson is a good match for her. Difficult times and trouble fall her way but she manages to come out on top.
The book is a set up in the west and it is a sweet little love story. With strong characters but also showing what the lifestyle was a little bit like back then and what society expected of you.
Some things remain the same throughout time. Scoundrels are in every community trying to take advantage of people who earn their way. And very often goods wins over evil.
This was a great read and with the extended epilogue it finished the story in the best way possible. Love and happiness always win out in the long run. This is my review and mine alone. Norma Gorrill
I love the fact that she is encouraged to forgive her uncle so that her unforgiveness will not ruin her life going forward. Because unforgiveness is like drinking poison and expecting your enemy to die.
The story was all right but it was hard to read. In fact I couldn't finish it because it was so poorly written. For example, in three consecutive paragraphs, a mule was referred to as "that stubborn thing." Please use more descriptive vocabulary in future books.
This was a nice read. There was a mix of romance and intrigue and problems that needed to be resolved but Henderson and Tessa get through it all with their love stronger as they meet they both work through the various challenges.
